Pride Cleaning & Restoration

Pride was hired to mitigate and restore our house after a fire. This was on 09/07/2022. They completed the mitigation phase and did a thorough job, but the invoice submitted was significantly higher than the insurance company estimate. We then contracted with Pride's owner (Jim) to act as Public Adjustor to try to resolve that difference. Everything seemed to go off the rails after that. The insurance certainly contributes to the delays and differences in the cost estimates, but Pride hasn't really done anything to restore our house. It has now been a year and the only thing done is we had windows delivered - not installed, just delivered. Lack of communication and no progress toward any resolution unless I push for something to happen. It seems to be all about getting more and more money from the insurance company. I was told early on funding would not become an issue. One year later we are no closer to being able to move in. I definitely would NOT recommend.
