Mark's Appliance Service Center

It was going to cost more than I wanted to pay to repair a very old machine. I ended up buying a new washer and dryer at Mark’s Appliance in Edwardsville. I was very pleased on the entire process. The service rep was great and the sales person was also I will definitely be shopping there for any other appliance purchases and recommending them to friends and family!

The technician was on time, courteous and did a good job. Just very expensive to use them as always (in my opinion).

Called about washing machine problem. Person from Mark's suggested checking the pump for foreign debris getting trapped inside. We checked and that was the problem. Saved us a costly service visit.

The diagnosis , defrost of evaporator and replace new jazz board took about an hour. Everything went smoothly. I have no complaints as this is the third time they have repaired appliances I have. All three technicians have been knowledgeable and very personal and friendly. The only complaint I have is the phone number on the work order 618-656-9656 when you call and leave a message no one calls back. This happened to me after leaving a couple messages. I then googled the company and found another number and had no problems after that.

I called a different company on Monday for a price quote which turned out to be about the same price as was quoted by Mark's Appliance Service Center however, they stated that they would not have the part until Friday and Mark's said that they would order the part and have it the next day. So, since we didn't have a working stove I decided to go with Mark's so I could get next day service. John arrived and completed the work with great knowledge and professionalism. Removed the top and side panel on the stove and replaced the burner element. He had to work extra hard to get the new element to seat back in where the original was and he didn't give up until the job was completed back to original condition. I would definitely use Mark's Appliance Service Center again in the future.

Range took longer than expected to arrive at the store, but Mark's worked with me to get it delivered sooner than originally scheduled.

They said that they could fix it but they ended up breaking it. We called them and told them the problem. So they said that they would fix it but the guy who came out couldn’t figure out as to how to fix it and ended up breaking it while he was fixing it. So we haven’t been able to use our dishwasher since then. We have to buy a new one, but we can’t afford a new one now. It wasn’t a good thing. They were nice but they just didn’t do the job and made a mistake. They just gave us a credit for a new dishwasher but we can’t use our old dishwasher now. Hopefully, they will compensate us but we still paid for the service call. I feel that it’s better to go for the factory service. I would not use their services in the future.

They were wonderful. They did a good job on the dryer. They have to give the washer back.
