Lee's Services

I always call Lee's Services first. They are quick to respond, reliable and super capable. They do almost anything -- home repair, remodeling, landscaping, etc. Nice, professional crew (including Lee himself). They've probably done 10 projects for us in the last few years.

I received several bids to replace my deck and deck rails, ranging from $1500 to $3200. Lee's Services bid was the one for $3200. Based on pictures Lee's Services sent of decks they stated they had built, their web site and brochure (quotes from their brochure "you can expect quality workmanship" "Lee's Services wants you to have the best possible experience with your project because client referrals are our best advertising"). I went with Lee's Services, because I wanted the job done quickly and done with quality. All I ended up with was a job "done quickly". Within 6 months of deck being completed I had additional rennovations done, two of the contractors asked me who built the deck....because the quality of the work was so poor. They both told me that nails should not be used for decks, screws should have been used. Lee's Services invoice stated that their deck work was only guaranteed for "one year". I started calling Lee's Services at 11 months because the railing was loose in some spots, some of the boards were splintering, and the top of the railing was 'popping up'. I left voice mails, none of my calls were returned (before the work was done and the bill paid...Lee's Services always answered the phone when I called, regardless of the time of day or night that I called).

They arrived promptly, and got the work done quickly.

Everyone should know that if you question his work, you take the risk of being cursed out and called terrible names. When I turned him into the Attorney General's office, he responded with nothing but lies. He responded by saying that several of my boyfriends had done work in my house and also my brothers. I have no brothers, and I have had 2 boyfriends in over 18 years. And not at the same time! I wish someone would have warned me about him or that I had known about this site before I hired him. I was new to the area and just looked up the name of businesses myself. He tried to tell me he didn't do the work that I was questioning when I knew he did because nobody else had done any work in the area I questioned. He ended up telling me and my sister F you, F you both and your mother. That is no way for a business person to act under any circumstances. I would not have bothered to call him to talk to me about the work, but everybody who saw the work said that I shouldn't let him get by with it. In the end, I just want people to know what kind of person Lee is. I doubt he would treat a woman like this if a man were around.
