Scott arrived quickly after I reached out regarding an issue with our AC in our brand NEW home. We built, paid 1000’s upon 1000’s for geothermal/ top of the line hvac system and yet parts of our 3500+ sq ft. home were HOT. Worst room was our infants nursery so this needed fixed stat. Multiple calls to the original company with no response and a brand new baby means we went elsewhere. He came out to find they had NOT connected an area of ductwork. Meaning it was blowing out into our basement and was not even getting to parts of our home. He had what was needed to fix it on the truck. He was shocked this could even happen and the cost was next to nothing for immediate resolution of our problem. Awesome work! Will be our go to in the future!

I had a problem with my AC and furnace, Scott tried a few thing to get the units to work properly. He came back a number of times after the repairs he made (on his dime) and it was determinded that we need a new inside and outside unit. Scott installed both with in a weeks time hauled away all the old stuff and they have been working perfect ever since. This is the only company I will ever call again for this type of work. He is proffesional polite and very contintious! Do your self a favor use Boston Heating and AC if you need this type of work done. A+

Mr Boston was due by 9 a.m. and arrived shortly before that. He inspected my 25 year old furance and took the induction motor out to inspect it. He found that the rotor part of the motor was bumping against part of the housing. I can't really be too specific here as I'm not familar with furnace parts. He said he could see why it would clank as this would certainly cause that. He made 10 min. of minor adjustments to this and replaced it, turned on the furance and there was nothing but the sound of air moving. The clanking was gone! He told me that while he had no idea of exactly how much this part would cost without pricing it, he would be surprised if it cost more than $150. He was surprised to hear another local company planned to charge me $600 to fix this. I also asked him about the and quot;electronic air cleanerand quot; that was installed with this furance. I said the other repairman told me the filters in it were very dirty (and he had showed that to me, and we cleaned them and replaced them) but told me to keep it turned off as it no longer worked. I asked Mr Boston if it needed to be removed. He inspected it, turned it on, and said he wanted to hear it make a pop noise to ensure it was working right. It made the pop noise and he told me it appeared to be working fine. I asked about what I was to do to make sure it was ok to use it, and he told me to clean those two filters (they're washable) each time I change the regular furnace filters. It should be fine to use it. So now I have an electronic air cleaner I didn't have before today. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was with all this. First, I got my clanking noise fixed easily with no need to order parts. I found out about my electronic air filter, how it works and what I need to do.........plus the best part is I found a very honest heating and air-conditioning man who I plan to use going forward. If I had not been referred to him from my home warranty company, I doubt I'd have found him. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an honest heating and AC man.
Description of Work: The older furnace in the home I bought 3/30/11 began to make a clanking noise soon after I moved in. I had a home inspection last March prior to closing. This was not mentioned and the furance passed the inspection. I hired a well-known local heating and cooling company to come to my home last May to do service work on both the furance and AC. This serviceman told me I needed a new induction motor. The price quoted by this company was $600. SInce the furnace must be turned on to fix this, I waited till now to avoid heating up my home over the summer. My home sale included a home warranty plan, and I contacted them about this. They connected me to Mr Boston for him to evaluate my complaint of a clanking noise when the furance runs. He solved the problem today which did not include replacing the "$600" induction motor.
