A & H MECHANICAL CONTRACTING

9pm Friday evening my downstairs had water coming up into it. I called my warranty company called A & H and the guy arrived at approximately 11pm (so far so good). That's when the good stopped. The plumber got out of his van huffing and puffing with attitude rolling his eyes when I came to greet him. He comes in, looks at the toilet and sighs and I tell him he has to contact the warranty company for authorization before performing work. He calls and says its their after hours message and he isn't going to wait for the warranty company to call back. I ask him to give me 5 minutes to make contact and he said "Well, I'll go start the invoice for the tradecall fee. Its $75" with an attitude. I receive the call from my warranty and I hand the phone to the plumber as he rolls his eyes. He comes in and yanks the toilet before the bolts are completely loosened and destroys the flange. Then he "attempts" to snake the drain a couple times, says its going up the line instead of into the main out towards the sewer and gives up. He says I need a clean out otherwise its going to remain that way, charges me the $75 and leaves my family and I without plumbing for the weekend. I call a different plumber on monday and they tell me that it was an easy "soft" stoppage and that the previous plumber must have turned the snake on full throttle instead of easing into it and finding the main line. I am of the opinion to assume the A & H plumber was simply upset for being bothered on his friday night and came here taking his attitude out on my home. Absolutely unprofessional. Never again will I let this company step foot on my property.

Very courteous on the phone. They called in advance of arriving to make sure it was ok for them to come a bit early. They went straight to work and got the job done quickly. In and out in just over 2 hours.
