Description of Work: They installed a garage door on my MIL's garage. My MIL had purchased a garage door and hired Wayne Dalton to install it. I was there to oversee the project due to her health issues. The garage door she purchased was unsuitable for the project even though Wayne-Dalton was willing to install it regardless. The installation would have required reinforcing the door, installing the opener off center due to the spring location, etc... After asking multiple questions it seemed the best alternative was to install a side mount opener. They were to call us with a time for installation of the side mount that evening or the next day, I ended up having to call them back and set the appointment. Then, when they installed the side mount they forget to bring a second opener which they said they would call and make arrangements to drop off after the installation. A week went by and no call and no opener. I called them and they delivered it. The opener is fully functional at this time but if you don't have the time to ask questions, request follow up, and then insure follow up, this is not the company you want to use. I would not step up and recommend this company if asked for a recommendation.

They had repaired the door a few months ago with a new spring. When we called on a Wednesday, we were told they they couldn't come out until the following Monday due to their workload. I was okay with that, but on Monday the technician called and was sick. He finally came out, was very apologetic, and repaired the door for, what I feel was a reasonable price. Overall, we were pleased with this service. We would use again.
Description of Work: The top bracket broke on the door. They replaced it with a new smaller bracket.

Called for an estimate and actually scheduled the install. I ended up canceling as I found a company that could do it in a shorter time frame for less money. Their price was by far the highest. The other companies I talked to were willing to do adjustments to the garage door, track, and spring for free with the opener install. They wanted an additional $75 for that service. In addition to this, there was a huge disconnect between the service/sales guys and the people in the office who answer phones and schedule. I was told the earliest they could install would be the following week. When I called to cancel they all of a sudden could install the next day. It almost sounded as they had me scheduled when know when ever called to tell me when the install would be like I was promised. Seems like this company has grown too big and has too much going on to keep things straight with their customers.

They came out when they said they would. It wasn't any major work. They did something and the door worked for a couple of months, but there were problems after that. They hadn't fixed the door properly. I ended up using another company to install a new door.

LOOKED AT GARAGE DOORS AND GOT ESTIMATES. FOUND WAYNE DALTON TO BE THE CHEAPEST, BUT STILL THE SAME QUALITY AS THE OTHERS. ORDERED DOORS. WHEN DOORS CAME IN SCHEDULED INSTALL 3 DAYS LATER. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL AND KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINISHED JOB AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
