Everything went well. The men were nice and polite, cleaned up after themselves, and did a good job.

Designer Concepts has done all kinds of work for us over the years, and it always does a great job. They are very helpful in terms of design recommendations, charge competitive prices, and are very accessible.

A 20-year old treated timber wall installed next to our house to raise the grade such that water flows away from the foundation required replacement. We decided to use a gravity wall constructed of modular concrete landscaping block for longer life. The work took 5 days to complete as estimated. The full crew arrived on time every day. They removed the old wall which was only a few feet from the house without any damage to the house and disposed of the old materials. The crew chief freely consulted with us regarding details and our preferences on small matters. The new wall is perfectly straight and seems to make the foundation watering system in our house completely unnecessary as the sump has remained dry through the record rainfall we've experienced this spring (2013). After the work was completed, Ryan Palm came by to make sure everything was done according to the statement of work and that we were completely satisfied with the installation. We were then and still are after the freeze thaw cycles of the past winter and a very wet spring. The workmanship and materials are all excellent. Working with Ryan on getting the statement of work completed was a pleasure. This is a great company.

They were very professional and helpful through the entire process. They were on time.

The worked turned out perfect. I have used them for three years. I plan on using them again this year.

They did a good job. I did not care for the river rock because it is a mess. The patio is very nice but I would have them brick it in, if I were to do it in the future. They are professionals to work with. The price was more than I wanted to spend so I would not use them again.

Mr. Ryan Palm of Designer Concepts was contacted in early April of 2012 In regard to providing an estimate for upgrading old foundation plantings and property line plantings in the back yard of our residence. The property was purchased by us in February of 2011. As is the case with many 30+ year old houses the foundation plantings were basically out of control. Very large evergreens dominated the foundation beds along with a old broken Redbud tree. The back yard property line beds were also old and out of control. Ryan made an appointment and met with us to determine out needs and desires in types of plantings.The removal of the old evergreens would not be included in his estimate per my request. Within a couple of weeks he set up another appointment to go over his proposal with us. He was very well prepared and flexible with changes requested. Ryan is very knowledgeable as a registered landscape architect and had many excellent ideas in plant types and color mixes throughout the seasons down to Red Twig Dogwoods in the back for color against the snow in winter. He left a complete set of color layouts with us and we took a few days to look at these and weigh them against the three other bids we had obtained. Ryan's price and his stunning design were the deciding factors. I called him a few days later and asked when they could start. By then we were into early June and he told us The first part of July would be scheduled. His crew showed up in the first part of July and the work was completed in early August. His crew members with Designer concepts were very competent and skilled in their trade. Ryan worked well with me and was very willing to make a couple of changes as we went along. The job site was completely cleaned up and debris hauled away daily. We are very happy with the design and in particular with the quality of the work provided by Designer Concepts. I certainly would call them again.

The service turned out well. They were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very prompt, professional, personable. Did not mess around. In & out. Performed followup to see if everything was satisfactory which was nice.

Their crew was prompt and efficient. They were on the job when as scheduled, and kept the work area clean at the end of the work day. Even with the rain delay they were able to finish the project on schedule. We would definitely use them again.

They came when they said they were going to come here. They kept me informed when they were coming. They were here very day on time. We would use them again.

From the first visit by the designer, to the estimate, to the workmanship, to the clean-up of the project it was very professional. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I was impressed right from the start with the owner's crew. They were on time every day and only took a lunch break and I don't think I ever saw them stop working. They were always very apologetic about any noise they had to make and were concerned about our property and if they were bothering us. I really can't say enough nice things about them and any qualms I had about the price we were paying went out the window when I saw how much work went into what they were doing. They also took great care in making sure everything looked just right. I could tell that they took pride in the work and wanted people to see that they knew what they were doing. If I had to say anything negative it would be that we only saw the owner one time. He came at the start of the job and never came back. I thought he should have come back to walk around and look at what was done to make sure it was up to his standards since he is the business owner. He called and asked how things were and if we had any problems and questions and that was good but it's not the same as coming to look at the finished product before we gave him his final payment. He obviously had great confidence in his project manager, as well he should, so I guess that is why he didn't come back. His project manager is the one that walked around with my husband and made sure everything was done as promised. Like I said, they were a great group of guys and I would hire them again in a minute!

Their landscape architect met with us and made suggestions on what he thought would look nice in the front of our house. A couple of weeks later he presented his blueprint and estimate of the project. After going over his plans for a couple days we called him and scheduled the work to be done. He was able to come within 1 day of the date he had given us. He always called and kept us informed. His construction people were a very good group to have working around your house. They were very professional as well as courteous. They raked the part of the yard they had been using as well as sweeping off the driveway when they were finished. We could not have asked for more. They also went over, with my wife and I, on how to care for the bricks. I later received printed material on how and what to get to keep the bricks looking good. We were very pleased and satisfied with our experience with Designer Concepts
