+ 1 moreOur insurance company, USAA, dispatched this company after a faucet was left on upstairs, damaging a carpet, subfloor, ceiling and hardwood floor. Perfection came immediately, brought in heavy fans and other drying equipment to prevent further damage, and then immediately began restoring the damage to new condition. They handled the emergency as well as you could imagine, and then were very detailed in making sure everything was exactly restored (even repainting the entire downstairs because the paint would not match otherwise). Now, you can't tell anything happened. Perfection was responsive, professional, and highly skilled. We couldn't be happier. We did not pay -- insurance did. Therefore, I can't rate on price. We also had no time to shop this job. It was an emergency. I got the sense that the job was not "low bid," but was also not gold-plated.
Description of Work: Complete emergency flood mitigation and restoration, from dry-out to final painting.

After several days they came out. The clean up seemed very thorough. My only concern was when we started the process they quoted one price and the final price was double the initial cost estimate. The staff seemed very professional but should have kept me more informed of associated costs.
Description of Work: Our basement flooded with sewage and they removed everything from the basement area. They cleaned and then steam cleaned the area and then applied anti-mold spray. They also placed 3-4 dehumidifiers for four days and they placed about four fans for about four days as well.

They came within a couple days of my calling and the quality of the work was good. The insurance company said that Perfection did a good job overall and were professional. They were responsive and answered any questions I had. The price was reasonable. They weren't the cheapest but weren't the most expensive. I've had no problems since and would definitely call them again.
Description of Work: The basement flooded and they came in and made sure all the remaining water was removed. They placed a couple dehumidifiers and about 10 fans to circulate the air. They also sprayed the area with an anti-mold spray. The dehumidifiers and fans remained in place for about three days and they came once a day to check on the equipment. They also pumped air into the bottom of the walls to ensure the area was dried up behind the walls and in the insulation.

Our insurance company sent them out. They also gave us an estimate to rebuild what they had torn out and this cost was 3 times what our handyman would charge. We needed to call them every single day to see if they were going to be here and they would say yes and then would not show up. They showed up pretty quickly initially to put the fans in the basement but did not show up to pump the water out of the basement and my husband ended up doing this work. The one thing that made me very upset is that a subcontractor of theirs showed up to do the drywall work on a Sunday night at about 8pm and this kept my kids up past their bedtime and they didn't communicate this information to us. Also, they took so long that my husband was afraid the carpet was going to start molding. My husband bagged up the carpeting himself. We told them about the carpeting that needing to be removed and they had a couple teenagers show up in a van to remove the carpeting and then we received a $700 bill for this, which we notified our insurance company about they ended up and they getting the charge removed.

It took them a week to get to us. We had already removed everything out of the basement including purchasing a dehumidifier. We sumped pumped out the water ourselves. A team of two completed the work is about 40 minutes. The basement is still dry and mold free. I do realize they were swamped at the time but they did not return calls very quickly. This was annoying as they would say they would call back and never did. When they were here they were very nice and thorough.
Description of Work: They power scrubbed the basement and walls from a flood we had due to excessive rain.

Everything was OK. Their prices did seem expensive but we called about six other places and Perfection was the only one that responded. We did have a couple minor issues towards the end but they were always available and took care of the demolition. They came back and cleaned everything up. They worked in the evenings to accommodate our work schedules to get the work done. Their pointman answered any questions I had. Also, it was good that Perfection was present when the insurance adjustor was present as to the work that was going to be required. I would use their services again if needed.
Description of Work: They came in with a 10-man crew and completed the demolition and placed about 15 wind-blowing machines and two dehumidifiers. The work was completed within three days.

Estimate was quick and efficient. Work hasn't been done yet - need to negotiate with my insurance.
Description of Work: Have only had an initial estimate so far, but experience has been quite positive. Called for an estimate on Thursday and project manager was here on Monday at agreed upon time. This was an estimate for repair work due to roof leakage from a July storm (I had been pursuing getting the roof repaired which took until November to complete). Damage consisted of staining and split/cracking seams in drywall in a 2 story open floor plan home. Project Manager (Bob K) was polite, cordial, professional and efficient. He had the estimate to me in email about 4 hours after the visit. Now I am proceeding to work with my insurance company. Bob found areas the insurance adjustor missed, so there is some reconciliation. I also asked Bob to estimate some other drywall work needed in the house as an added job, which he did. I gave the price a B not because I thought it was out of line (it seemed to be in line with insurance expectations), but because it wasn't dirt cheap (the ideal, if the quality would be there as well). I may adjust this if I find the work quality (so the value) is quite high once I have the work done. I will update this review once I have the work done.

They got the job done fairly quickly and they did decent work. After some back and forth work they were able to correct the problem and get the pipe replaced. They were not quite as responsive as I would have liked.
Description of Work: A contractor put a nail through a water pipe and when it rusted it started to leak. A-1 Perfection Cleaning & Restoration came out to clean up the water damage.
