Anthony quickly assessed the situation. He removed the blockage, cleaned the toilet bowl and tested the toilet to ensure it flushed properly with no blockage. While it wasn't his job to clean the toilet bowl, I certainly appreciated his effort.

Mike D was very punctual and very professional while he was here. He slipped on booties immediately after he walked in the door and did a great job explaining our current set up and some of the options to improve upon what we had. He was straightforward and honest and had a great attitude throughout the entire visit. Although we ended up not needing their service as we decided to hold off as we may be moving soon, we would have hired them for the quoted work if we decided to go forward with the project.

The alarm on the ejector pump started going off one evening indicating a malfunction. I called Lifeline the next morning and was able to get an appointment that afternoon. Mike D. came to the house and quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty switch. Sounds like a simple fix, but the pit is sealed and the lid bolted to the floor, and to make it more interesting part of the lid rests under the wall trim board. To remove the lid would have required dismantling the PVC pipes to free the lid from under the trim board. Mike suggested instead to cut a hole in the lid so he could service the pump that day, then place a cap over the whole and seal with silicone; this would allow easy access to the pump should it need service again. What could have taken several hours Mike completed in about an hour. I have been using this company for about 4 years and have always received great service. Thanks Lifeline and thanks Mike D.!

Mike D was out to help us with our sump system issue. We needed to replace our back up battery and our back up sump, which had failed. We decided to put in a new system that has a lot more safeguards. Our system, besides needing a new back up sump and battery, was antiquated a had issues with safeguards failing. This system is more technologically advanced than our old one and pumps more water out to boot. It also has more safeguards and fail safe measures. Not being a handy person nor having one in the house, I needed a system I wouldn't have to worry about. Mike has always done an outstanding job and helped us find the right system. Thanks Mike!

Chris has worked on our furnace several times and each time he does excellent work. He always explains what needs to be done and he is very thorough in his work. He is meticulous too, so the place looks cleaner when his work is done than before he started working! I highly recommend Chris.

I called Lifelineto get a quote to replace an existing water heater. They said someone needed to come so as to provide a better estimate for $39. fair enough. The technician came and looks at the water and billed me $137 (extra $98 for diagnostic). what a rip off. If you just need a water heater replacement, please call Center Guard Plumbing. They will assess your current water heater specifications, provide a good estimate over the phone and schedule service for the next day. I used Center Guard Plumbing to replace my water heater for 50% less than the quote from Lifeline.

We had a strange occurrence happen, water coming out of a smoke detector, we initially thought this was a plumbing issue. We called Lifeline Plumbing, they quickly responded, had a plumber (Anthony) out to our house within an hour. After running all the water in the house, he determined this was not plumbing related. This was a huge relief. It turns out this was related to condensation built up in the attic. While he was here, we started talking about possibly having a water softener installed. He explained the benefits of having one, especially if you have hard water, (we do). He wrote up two different proposals. One for the basic water softener, one for the better of the two, this one removes all the chemicals from the water, basically having filtered water throughout your whole house. If you have a water dispenser on your refrigerator, no need to buy those filters anymore. We decided on the better of the two, the price difference was not much more. We also asked if he could replace a showerhead in our bathroom and flappers in two of our toilets. We set a date for the following Friday. Anthony did a great job, he was on time, he had to make modifications to our pipes, so the water softener could be installed in our furnace/water heater room. He took his time, he was here all day, we knew this ahead of time, because of the necessary modifications to pipes. worked the whole time, he didn't even take a lunch break. He changed out the showerhead and flappers. We are so pleased with all of his work. Very nice, professional. He cleaned his mess afterwards. He showed us how to fill the salt, how often. Before he left we discussed having new sump pumps put in at a later date, we will definitely call Lifeline Plumbing, when we are ready to do this. It's only been 4 days we already notice a big difference in the quality of our water. Very pleased. Thank you Lifeline, Anthony is a great asset to your team.

Sam and Kevin came over on time with a call beforehand to let me know their ETA. They introduced themselves to me upon arrival (surprisingly, not every contractor does this.) Sam explained what needed to be done and offered me the options for various sump pumps. When the install was completed, Sam explained what he did and asked if I had any questions. He had all the needed brochures to explain the features. I also decided to have the backup battery replaced...you can never be too safe. Very neat and tidy when the job was done. Homeowners want to feel comfortable with the contractor and Sam/Kevin did this. If Kevin follows the customer relationship steps of Sam, he will also be a great plumber. I will definitely call them when I need any future work.

Coldest Polar Vortex in history -44F, our 10+ year old furnace said no more. Travis, from Lifeline was here in 3 hours. We upgraded to a dual stage, 96%ECM, 100,000 BTU, HVAC. Travis also was able to get us a $450 ComEd rebate. Before leaving, he loaned us new, highly efficient space heaters, while they picked up our new system. Bob and John completed installation within 3 hours, no breaks. Its worth noting they also installed our A/C in 2017 with the same elitist standards as our new HVAC. I would highly recommend to family and friends. Lifeline has become like family, -perfectionist till the end. My hat is off to you, Lifeline.

Everything went well. Mike D. called me to let me know he was on his way. He and Kevin got here on time. They replaced my four RO filters. They were neat and put a tarp down to protect my floor. As always, they were professional.

Excellent. Sam called ahead to let me know of his arrival. He reviewed the issue prior to bringing up any tools, discussed the solution and made recommendations. I agreed with everything. He described the cost, the Angie's List savings and quoted the total cost of repair. Only after I agreed and signed did he do the work. He worked efficiently and diligently.

Getting an appointment was easy, they worked with my schedule. Sam called ahead before he arrived, he was very professional and polite, laid out different options and showed me tips how to use the new garbage disposal. I signed up with their membership, it's a good deal with discounts on service and annual HVAC tune up plus plumbing inspection. It's my 2nd time using this company, consistent great service!

What's really nice is that he spent time giving me maintenance tips after installing the new pump so it can last longer. Really like Sam's work and taking good care of the customer.

Honest and Trustworthy. That's what most people want from any relationship, but it's especially hard to find when hiring someone to come into your home to do any type of work. That's what I found when I had Brent, Nick and Brandon come into my home to fix an ongoing problem with my kitchen sink. I've had numerous plumbing companies in my home over the last 25 years or so but these guys went above and beyond. Great work, professionalism and the ability to relate to the customer were just a few of the things I appreciated about my experience with these men and their company. From the first point of contact the entire appointment went great! The gentleman who answered the phone, Pete, was very polite and spent the time with me to fully understand my plumbing issue. I called and got an appointment the next day and Sam was the plumber who came out to complete the job. Sam was punctual (actually early, he called first to make sure it was ok to come early), friendly, professional, honest and efficient and went above and beyond during the entire appointment. He explained everything in detail and made sure I totally understood (and agreed to) everything he was going to do. He was very good and extremely trustworthy and I felt very comfortable with both he, as well as his work. He made what could have been a nightmare a very pleasant experience. The only ding I have is I'm not a big fan of the flat pricing model. ~$600 for an hour of non-emergency work seemed excessive, so for small jobs I'd probably look for someone who'd give an hourly rate.
