+ -1 moreIt was easy. I chose the carpet at the store, an employee came out the next day to measure and a day later I had an estimate. On the installation day, the workers were very concerned that our stairs weren't even...they were worried that gaps would be visible next to the wall. Well, I don't know how they did it, but there weren't any gaps and the stairs look great!

+ -1 moreThe salesman was helpful and we appreciated the effort he put in to meet a tight installation deadline. The installers did good installation work, but were unprofessional in demeanor and left a bit of a mess.

Description of Work: I arranged to have carpeting replaced in two bedrooms in Spring of 2006. One of the rooms was actually empty when the carpet was installed. The installers came to my house and spoke very little English. They put my bedroom furniture on a small balcony out side of the building. I requested that they not lean their tools on the freshly painted walls, which they ignored or did not understand and kept doing. They cut the carpet too short along the wall of the empty room and there was a gap of about 6 inches long and 2 inches wide along the wall. When I complained The store owner came out and was very concerned. He said they did an inferior job and it was inappropriate for such expensive carpet. The installers came out and said they could not fix the carpet and stuck a piece of scrap into the hole they left in the carpeting. Mr. Yonan came out again and said the job was inferior and he was going to do some thing about it. He did nothing about it. In fall of 2007, I called them again and reminded them of the problem. I then ordered another room of carpet and carpet for a small stair way. I asked for a discount, but did not specify an amount which was my mistake. I expressly asked that they not send the same installers. Much to my shock, on the installation day, they sent the same two people to install. I refused to let them into my house and it was very unpleasant. I paid them $1956 for one bedroom and the stairs. The stair carpet is very unsuitable for a stairway, but it looked good in the store. The installation was done by another installer but the pattern is crooked on the landing of the stairs. The sales person, Don, was detached and disinterested, caused me delays and stress. The carpet in the upstairs was never corrected and is beginning to unravel along the walls. What a nightmare!

+ -1 moreHorrible. Ordered tile in late Jan. and was told it would all arrive in 1 wk. Eight days later, salesman called to see if we still wanted to order tile (he'd gone on vacation), w/25% fee for re-stock. At this time he stated that some tile would arrive in mid-March, but most would be in within a week. One week later, no call and no tile. Called to check and told it would be in on a Friday. No call Friday or Saturday. Called store Sunday and told it was not in. Called Monday and told it had been in the back of the store all weekend. Tile looked horrible, digitized coloring did not look like the sample we brought home and decided to bring wall tile back and keep the floor tile. Was told to keep the wall tile temporarily and they'd get back to us with the details regarding 25% re-stocking fee. Mid-March came and went without the remaining tile arriving, or any calls from Yonan. Multiple calls placed to store without response. Tile arrived in mid-April, attempted to charge 50% restock fee.

+ -1 moreWORK LOOKS GOOD AND WAS DONE QUICKLY AND AT THE TIME SCHEDULED. ONLY SLIGHT PROBLEM IS THAT WE JUST PAINTED THE WALLS PRIOR TO THIS, AND THEY SCRATCHED SOME OF THE PAINT WITH THE END OF THE CARPET WHEN THEY INSTALLED IT. NO BIGGIE, AS WE CAN JUST RUN A ROLLER OVER THAT AREA, BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF WE DIDN'T NEED TO. OVER ALL, WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN, THE SALES GUY WAS FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE, THE PRICE WAS GREAT AS WELL.
Description of Work: BOUGHT A REMNANT AND HAD IT INSTALLED WITH PADDING INTO A 13X16 BEDROOM.
