We had a terrible experience with Sunrise with both window cleaning and gutter, very similar to what was described in other reviews. - weeks after a gutter clean, had issues with clogs. We didn’t know what it was at first causing water to drip over (because we had just had a cleaning), but eventually used our GoPro to look and it ended up being leaves that we are pretty sure were not properly removed. Without mentioning they charge $45 for removing each clump of leaves, they did it as they were cleaning our windows (they’ve since agreed to remove this charge) - Windows were left with streaks and marks and, after the next rain, were dirtier than before - Screens were not cleaned well and showed drip marks - They dropped two of our screens from the second story. They did put them back and put the seals back on when we brought it to their attention - They said they “couldn’t” clean our skylights. They could have if they had come prepared as this had been discussed prior - They left 2 razor blades around our property. Thankfully our toddler didn’t find them before we did - I requested to speak with owner about the issues and to arrange payment - called and left a message and emailed twice and never received a response about the issues or how we could arrange the payment - Employee called today and after I explain the situation, she accuses me of being dishonest about dates of photos I took of issues with windows (I have proof with metadata) and about calling (I have proof from mobile bill) and threatening me by saying she “didn’t want to take me to collections” when I had tried to arrange payment 3 times and never said, implied or expressed we wouldn’t pay at any time, ever. Avoid!

All clean, did not have to be there

Excellent. We had just finished re-cladding the house and the windows were filthy. Now, we can see clearly through them. Only problem is that they are so clear, the birds are flying into them. The housekeeping service has been trying to clean a couple of mirrors in the foyer and great room without great success. Now, the mirrors look like new with sparkle.

Excellent. Left windows spotless. Has good work ethic.

Anthony was punctual, efficient and very cooperative. Definitely will hire this firm for next window washing.

Service was excellent from start to finish. I was very pleased with how careful Paul was in keeping everything clean. The chandelier was particularly dirty (too high for me to reach) and now it is spotless.

I initially reached out via their website and never heard back so I followed up with a call because we are local and prefer to keep the business in town if possible. I'm really glad I did! Their website was having some technical difficulties but they came out the next day to provide a free estimate and they were significantly cheaper than everyone else. They called the day before they were going to come and arrived a little before they said they would so they were prompt. They did a great job and we will definitely use them again.

I really like that company. They do a good job. All my windows were exceptionally cleaned. They cleaned up after the job. They were in and out quickly. My builder had recommended them and they were very reasonably price, so I went with them.

They sent one guy who did all the work. Normally they have two, one outside and one inside, but I had removed all the storms from the inside and had then lines up in the laundry room so he could do a lot of the work right there.

This is the 5th year I've had them come out and clean what is described above. They are always professional, clean, reliable, do an excellent job and are reasonably priced.

Great...however one screen got kind of messed up

I just joined Angie's list but have used Sunrise since 2005. I was hoping they were on here so I could give a review, because they have always given me such great service. This time was no exception. Sometimes they send 2 guys, this time they sent one, Anthony. He was a polite, young guy that did a fantastic job. I have over 60 large windows, many with transoms (smaller windows above), sliding glass doors & 4 skylights. He did all windows inside and out and the screens. He was here 5 1/2 hours and never stopped once. He had an incredible work ethic and did a meticulous job. (People like that are hard to find. I will request him again.) Owner stopped by to make sure I was satisfied, he was very nice as well, and I think he's fortunate to have such a great kid working for him. I'm very pleased.

Very professional.. Little rocky start, over an hour late, but they did an excellent job.

I thought this was going to be a good contractor based on previous reviews. I show up to my house as they are wrapping up and "Dominik" is upset that I didn't specific if he should do the attic window for another $6. I let him know that when I called to schedule my appointment I left a voicemail detailing that I wanted to add the attic window for another $6. Overall he seemed unnecessarily annoyed and p***** off that he didn't have clear instructions. Another thing, they tell you that they will switch their shoes and not dirty the floors when they wash the inside of the windows. Not true. I can inside and their was dirt all over the floor. I would not recommend this company, plain and simple. Poor customer service and poor quality.

I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the service. This company was very responsive to my phone calls, gave a detailed estimate, and was able to come to my house within a few days. Paul was very thorough with the cleaning and I was pleased with the results. I would highly recommend.

They (there were two men) did a very thorough job washing the windows, including the sills, clearing away the cobwebs, and wiping down the screens. They cleaned the gutters on the highest roof area of our house--also doing a thorough job. This is the second time we have used their service and we will certainly call on them again. We were more than satisfied each time. I'm not sure what the question means above--were services performed by the provider. I don't know if I answered that correctly as the gentlemen had me make a check out to one of them instead directly to Sunrise. But the receipt they provided did mention Sunrise.

They were professional and timely. The wore booties in the house. My windows never looked so clean.

They were great in every way.

It was great. They were late getting there, but once they arrived, they went right to work. I would hire them again in the spring.

Overall they provided an excellent service.

We have used Sunrise before, in our old house. The owner comes out, provides an onsite, exact quote and then you call back to schedule the service. We have always been happy with Sunrise. This time, we were only slightly less happy than normal. Here's why: The tech came out, did his work promptly, on time and more or less without mess. The windows were very well cleaned, except one which was hard for him to reach, because he is not very tall and had no easy way to reach. As with all window cleaners, they usually unlock the screens from the inside and leave them in the frame, then go outside and remove the screens, wiping them down and reinstalling them (once they clean the exterior of the window and wipe the sill). This was the case for us, too. Once they're done, they lock the screens in place from the exterior. One problem occurred this time: my 8 year old son did not know his screen was unlocked and he opened his window to shout outside to his buddy (our neighbor's son). Just opening his window caused the screen to fall from the 2nd story onto the ground and it bent the screen frame. The tech just brought the bent screen inside to us, but did not offer to take any form of responsibility. He was not at all impolite, but he just brought the screen inside as a matter of course, as though to say, "here's your screen." He knew it was bent, and knew it had fallen. He probably knew it fell because my son opened the window, too. The problem I had with this is: 1. He did not express any concern 2. He clearly did not bring this up with the company's owner (nor have we) 3. He did not warn anyone that he was leaving the screens unsecured in the window frames, so we did not take any prescriptive action to warn our child that the screen was loose. Of course, if our son wasn't screaming out the window, which is another whole discussion, there would be no issue. My point of bringing this up in the review is twofold: 1. Hopefully the owner will see this and do some training 2. IF they don't, now YOU know to beware the loose screens! It only cost $15 to fix the screen, so it's not a big deal. But I would have been very happy to have been informed by the tech, have him show at least the slightest bit of concern about it, and possibly have had the owner call me up later to make sure everything was OK. So, for the tech's response only, I give Sunrise a B for quality and professionalism THIS TIME.We will use them again, and maybe I will update the rating at that time.

They were not satisfactory. They charged $95 to clean the gutters but he didn’t bring anything with him; he asked me for a ladder and a broom. They didn’t use the hose to run through the gutters or anything. I didn’t get up on the roof to look, but I don’t know how he could have done a good job. I have someone that does it for $35 now and they get up there to really work at it.

Did excellent work at great price. My neighbor and sister both used Sunrise after seeing the A+ job done at my home. I will be using them for gutter cleaning and gutter covers in the next few weeks. Really nice people to do business with. I would highly recommend this compny.
