+ -1 moreI WAS SOMEWHAT ANNOYED AT THE PRICE FOR REPRODUCING A DRAWING AND ADDING A STAMP, BUT FRANKLY THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES WHO AGREED TO TAKE IT ON. I WAS NOT SURE THAT I WOULD GET VALUE FOR MONEY AT THIS PRICE. HOWEVER, SWA'S ASSOCIATE WAS CHARMING AND PROFESSIONAL, THE DRAWING WAS TECHNICALLY CORRECT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, SWA HANDLED THE NIT-PICKY OBJECTIONS FROM THE VILLAGE, ON MY BEHALF, IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. THEY FAXED CALCULATIONS, GAVE OPINIONS, AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS QUICKLY, ALLOWING ME TO GET THE PROJECT STARTED. IN THE END, THEY WERE WORTH THE MONEY PAID.
Description of Work: MY VILLAGE REQUIRES A CERTIFIED DRAWING FOR ANY BASEMENT REMODEL ABOVE $10K WHEN APPLYING FOR A BUILDING PERMIT. I DID THE DESIGN AND THE MEASUREMENTS WHICH SWA COPIED TO FULL SIZE DOCUMENTS. SWA PROVIDED FOUR COPIES, TWO WITH SEALS; A TOTAL OF THREE PAGES: COVER, DRAWING, AND DETAIL. IT WAS INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO FIND AN ARCHITECT WILLING TO TAKE THIS STUPID ASSIGNMENT.

+ -1 moreTECHNICALLY VERY PROFICIENT AND DETAIL ORIENTED. WORKED WITH ASSOCIATE KIM HAIG, WHO WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR SUGGESTIONS AND WAS PROFICIENT AT TRANSLATING OUR VISION INTO A BUILDABLE HOME. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE'VE HIRED SWA TO DO A CUSTOM HOME ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN.
Description of Work: ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN FOR NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION. DESIGNED A 3,600 SQUARE FOOT CUSTOM HOME.
