Pat's Painting

It was really good. They're family and I like them. The price depends on how big the room is. They were polite and very nice. They cleaned up afterwards and it was good. The price for the painting was reasonable.

He came on the date chosen, and completed a sizable patch, essentially resoving our problem. He was personable, efficient, careful and cleaned up any mess that was created. I will plan to use him for future painting work and recommend him highly.

I purchased this and got ill around the same time period. I was told that I would be able to apply this toward future work. I have since had the work done by someone else since it had expired. I getting a refund through Angie's List.

The lines in the room are perfect. You can tell it was not done by a professional. One of her walls we wanted to be a dry erase board. The entire wall 12x8 is a white board now. It works exactly like those you'd see in an office and school! He spent a lot of time preparing that wall to get it smooth and that is why it works so well. She can use any color and just erase it off - just like in school.

We obtained a number of bids using Angie's List and all were very competitive. We decided to go with Pat's Painting due to level of experience, personality and comfort level. Pat and his sons did all the work, including all necessary prep and painting. They took extra care to repair several problem areas and took excellent care of our home throughout the entire process (about one week). They did an outstanding job and we are very pleased with the results. We would definitely use Pat's Painting again and highly recommend them. They were a pleasure to deal with, from initial estimate to final completion. Pat is very responsive and did everything he said he would within the time frame agreed upon. Call Pat, you'll be glad you did.

This was the second paint project Pat's Painting has completed for us. The first was interior, this was one was exterior. Just as happy with our second project as we were with the first one. We'll call Pat with our future paint jobs.

Pat is the absolute best! We just had Pat paint the interior of our entire house with a tight deadline and Pat delivered. He does excellent work, does it when he says he will, and all at a great price. My biggest fear is Pat going to get too popular and he'll be booked the next time I need him! I will use Pat for all my painting needs going forward - hands down.

Excellent experience from start to finish. I received an email response from my initial request within a couple of hours. Pat came out the next day and provided an estimate a few hours later. Work was scheduled a few days out. Pat and his crew showed up on time. They were very respectful of our home, they didn't make a mess. Everything came out great, we are very happy with the work and will hire again.

Great! He did an estimate for me on Monday--the same day I called. He sent me a written quote the next day. On Thursday, he started the job and completed it by Friday afternoon. His price was reasonable, and the work he did looks very nice.

I chose Pat's Painting because they were the second lowest bidder of 4 contractors and their Angie's List ratings/reports were very positive. The lowest bidder was only $100 lower than Pat's Painting, but they retracted their bid when another very big job came up for them. The 4th bidder was a previous contractor we used to paint the exterior of our house several years ago who was not on Angie's List. Pat's Painting quote was more than $2,000 less than this 4th contractor for painting the interior of our house. We are so happy we selected Pat's Painting and will definitely use them in the future for ALL of our interior & exterior painting. Pat Daniher & his son Mike work as a team. They completed all of the work in 9-1/2 working days (11-1/2 calendar days including Sat. & Sun. which they did not work). They exceeded all of our requirements & expectations in every aspect of our job. We are 100% satisfied & believe we received an incredible value for the money we spent. There was not one surprise or any extra cost. They did exactly what they quoted and much more. The quality of their work was outstanding compared to my painting skills. I'll never paint again. I felt comfortable & trusted them to be in my house for 9-1/2 days. They started at 8 am and left around 4 pm each day. They moved all furniture and all window coverings before painting and moved everything back after painting. In each room before painting, they patched any holes, cracks, nail bulges, & any wall damage where necessary. They used "Frog Tape" ( a special tape) to mask all woodwork & non-paintable surfaces. Before painting, they put plastic sheeting over all of the furniture so there was NEVER any paint spilled on the furniture or carpets. Luckily the paint we selected was great since there was no splattering whatsoever. Pat & Mike are experts in "mudding", using joint compound to patch holes & cracks in walls. Pat repaired a large hole in a wall after removal of an old light fixture which we replaced. Pat also repaired a large bulge in a hallway wall by digging out the drywall bulge and "mudding" it over so it was perfectly flat. I told Pat that, of course, these two jobs were extra work to the original quote. Pat did both of these extra jobs at NO EXTRA COST, because he said we were so cooperative with them for 9-1/2 days. They repaired several wall corners in high traffic areas which were severely chipped before painting. They painted 2 coats of paint on all surfaces including ceilings. All switch plates, receptacle plates, etc. were oil-based primed & painted with 2 coats of matching paint. They removed wallpaper in one room and the walls had a lot of glue left on them. Using plastic sheeting, they made a "cocoon" around the room and then completely sanded all of the walls so that they were smooth before painting. They then wiped down the walls and used an oil-based primer/sealer before painting. They then scooped up the plastic sheeting so the dust caused by the sanding of the walls was minimal in the house. My wife really appreciated this detail of their work. Because of the "satin" sheen in one bathroom, one area on the wall wasn't perfect, so Pat just repainted the whole wall over again to make it perfect. Pat & Mike were extremely cooperative & nice & fulfilled every request we had. They are true professionals in the sense their primary goal is your complete satisfaction. That is very hard to find these days. Plus, the quality of their work is amazing. When they pulled off the "Frog Tape", a perfect line remained with no paint seeping under the tape. When they removed the wallpaper border in the master bedroom, it was very difficult and took a long time and they had a lot of repair "mudding" to do to get it back to a perfectly flat surface. The extra time and work required was included in the price with no extra charge. At the end of each day, they would ask if they could leave their painting equipment in the current room that they were painting, which of course, we said they could. If we would have requested it, they would have removed their equipment before leaving. Before they left each day, they made sure we had complete access and use of the rooms they were painting. In fact, when they did our master bedroom, they moved our bed and some furniture back to its original position before they left so we could sleep normally in our bed. For the bathrooms, they took down the plastic sheeting before they left so we had complete use of the bathroom. We can highly recommend Pat's Painting for all of your painting work. EXCELLENT from start to finish as always. It is nice to be able to call a contractor..painter...whatever over and over for work to be done at your home or office. Pat has honest, neet/ clean and does great detailed painting. He is also great about calling back and arriving on time!! I will post photos soon.

Pat arrived right on time. He was very courteous. He went to work straight away. It took a total of about 3-1/2 hours. This project was much more involved than I imagined! We will definitely be contacting Pat's Painting again for bigger home projects.

Pat and his son, Mike, did an excellent job. They were courteous, professional, and cleaned up after they were finished. The estimate was right on in terms of the time it took to complete the job and it was easy to correspond with Pat via email for the job details. The job started when it was supposed to and they arrived promptly every day when they said they would. Pat's Painting did a wonderful job painting and repairing the walls where needed. I love Pat's Painting! I love them so much I hijacked my Mom's Angie's List account to write this review :). Pat and his son Mike did a fantastic job throughout our entire house. It started with a thorough walk through of our house to provide an accurate estimate which we received quickly. They literally painted every wall, ceiling, piece of trim and every window over a 2 1/2 week period. They beautifully patched every crack and hole the previous owners left behind and it looks like a new house! The attention to detail was fantastic. Plus they were on time, courteous, careful with our things, even working around all the holiday decorations and kids toys! Pat also has a great paint consultant Karen, who for a nominal fee came out to the house and helped me choose all of the colors--I am thrilled with the final results. Pat and his son are terrific! They were on time, efficient and neat. The powder room presented MANY challenges. They handled it with professionalism and patience. All three bathrooms look beautiful. They work very hard, deliver everything that was promised and more. After all the work was completed, I had a handyman in to fix the powder room sink. He damaged part of the wall that Pat had painstakingly painted. I called Pat and he came over and recaulked and repainted the area around the sink. He didn't want to charge me for it! He cares that much about satisfying the customer. I HIGHLY recommend Pat's Painting! I am already planning the next room I will decorate and Pat's Painting will be the only painter I call.

Pat's Painting arranged the work to meet our schedule and arrived as scheduled. The work was excellent and went smoothly from start to finish. Excellent company.

Pat arrived when he said he would to provide the quote, then returned to do the work as promised. His son helped him for part of the time. I believe the job took about 11/2 days. Pat is experienced & thorough, and we were very pleased with his work and attention to detail. He left our home clean and neat. Although I don't recall what we paid, the price was fair. I have just contacted him to return to do additional painting for us.

Overall, the company produced the results we needed to fix large cracks in high ceilings, where the drywall meets at an angle, and to cover dark turquoise paint with a medium-sandy beige color on the walls. It seems that Pat and his son did what they were hired to do!

Pat came to the home on date request and provided his detailed quote the same day. That was a Saturday. He offered to start work the following Monday, which was important, since the home was going on the market for sale. We asked him to start on Tuesday and he and his son did so. The work lasted longer than anticipated -- 3-1/2 days, but the two men stayed on the job until complete. They found one small hole in the drywall when wallpaper was removed and repaired that perfectly. They removed curtains/drapes and returned the rooms to move-in ready condition when they were done. They were punctual and worked longer hours when necessary. The end results were flawless and I would strongly recommend them and would hire them again.

I think I got them from Angies List and they did an excellent job. They were very particular about the work they did and the work was done very well. They got me to inspect it when they were done and it was very timely. I am going to call them again to get some more rooms in my house painted.

The project went very well. Pat and his son work together. The paint job was very professional....so glad I didn't do it myself. They placed plastic all over the house so that they would not drip paint. Also,they always take their shoes off when they come into the house. I wish I could get my husband to do that! The house was left clean when they left and the paint job was great. Also, I felt comfortable leaving Pat and his son in our house when I left to run errands. I will use them again in the future.

Pat's painting did a great job. They were able to start working immediately and were very clean and quiet. They did the job in 2 days as promised and the end result is fantastic!

Came on time, used 8 hours of time that I had bought on an Angie's list, told me it would cost $250 more to put on another coat and sand. That sounded reasonable (there was a lot to do). When he finished the next day, the walls looked pretty good but the ceiling was horrible: large bumps, tape showing in many spots.
