The entire job was done well. They were prompt in giving us an estimate. When we accepted their bid, the arrived when they said they would. The workers did an excellent job overall. I have no complaints.

They came right out. They had an impressive written estimate. We decided to not have the work done at the time of estimate because of weather. But we will be callign them again.

Excellent. Tim was extremely responsive and honest. For the fence, we were considering replacing the whole fence at a cost of 5k and he said we could salvage the fence by just replacing a few posts. He saved us thousands of dollars with his advice. For the painting and deck work, it was done very well and on time.

He gave a very thorough and complete quote. He did a good job of looking to see what all needed to be done. We got several bids and his was on the high end. Professionally I would have liked to use him.

In short, they met our expectations in all of this. Their highest note was their response to unexpected structural problems in the bedroom ceiling and attic, requiring extensive carpentry work and coordination with village building inspectors to get approval. This was accomplished quickly and at what we feel was a very reasonable additional cost. Another major plus was the degree of care taken to protect our floors, in which they laid custom-cut Masonite sections down in addition to the usual resin paper. This worked very well. Our only disappointment involved window treatment and shelving hardware that we had left in place. No Name instructed us to leave in place any hardware we did not want removed. We did this and, in spite of several attempts by us to underscore this expectation, the hardware disappeared. This required us to find and reinstall new hardware for a large, custom-made curtain rod and to reinstall a shelving unit. Hardware for both had been lost and the mounting holes filled in, requiring fresh measurements. Overall, this was a relatively minor gripe, but useful to keep in mind the next time we use No Name, which we expect to do. They are a great company that does very good work.

Every aspect went well. The painters were professional, polite, punctual and did a great job. I do recommend this company to others who need an A+ paint job.

I was very happy with the service provided from start to finish. Mark and Tim are great to work with and very responsive to any questions/requests. The painting crew was wonderful - they did a great job and did great clean-up.

We hired them in a rush and they did a great job. The rooms looked great.

I talked to two contractors and they both gave me quotes in the same range. I chose them because they gave me the lowest quote and they pointed me to the Sherwin-Williams colorizer on the web. This web-tool makes it easy to try out different colors on your house. I do recommend that you also look at color samples in a store to check the colors since the colors on a monitor do not match 100%. In our case, we decided to go with a lighter shade of grey. They did an excellent job and I am very happy with the results. They covered all plants and cleaned up well. In fact, they were cleaning the grass, and I had to tell them that this was not needed; to concentrate on the concrete. In short, I had no complaints.

The job went very well. The estimator for the job, Mark, even helped pick out the colors and had samples painted on the house to help me decide. The crew did a very thorough job and even pointed out that we may have a carpenter ant issue. We also had some wood repair and light carpentry done at 1/10th of the price I had been quoted by a handy man service. I am very happy with the results.

They were fine. I called the owner and explained the circumstances and he sent someone over right away. They were on time and did a great job covering up the dark walls. I don't recall the cost.

The job was rejected by some as too small and by others as too large. I looked for local firm with an office I could go to to check them out. They run a very professional looking family style operation and their offices are very clean and well set up. All staff pleasant and helpful. Came out to estimate, no issues, but took some time to schedule work and the entire job took 7 days. In retrospect, price fair, but high, workmanship very good. Given the nature of working with contractors and schedules, I found price and scheduling reasonable and acceptable. Bottom line, I got what I asked and paid for.

For the estimate meeting, he showed up on time and was very understanding that I was running late. Once I decided to move forward with the job, Mark was able to quickly schedule it to be done....in order to meet my time line of moving into a new house. Worked with 3 different painters. All on time, very nice and professional. Would definitely use them again. Cost very reasonable compared to other companies. Mark followed up after job to be sure we were satisfied.

Great; we don't have time for a long story, but we'll be hiring them again in the future.

I chose them over others from the Angie's List search b/c they were the cheapest and did excellent job. They were fairly responsive. They were flexible and tried to do as cheaply and as little as possible, so they worked with me on what areas to do and leave.

FAST AND COURTEOUS, RETURNED MY CALL W/IN THE FIRST DAY, GREAT WORK/ GOOD CLEAN UP.

We have used No Name painters for years. It is hard to get them to return calls and get the initial estimate. Once you finally make contact, the work is done as scheduled and the quality is excellent. This most recent paint job was no exception. Very Neat - no mess left behind.

The bid was a while in coming but the final work was wonderful. Our painter (Doug) was neat, professional, & prompt. Very pleasant people to deal with on all fronts. Very attentive to concerns when some paint bubbled (a small area & it was fixed immediately).

ON FRIDAY, I HAD ASKED FOR THE JOB TO BE DONE IN THE NEXT THREE DAYS IF POSSIBLE DUE TO CARPETING COMING ON TUESDAY--AND THEY ACCOMMODATED ME! A PAINTER CAME ON SATURDAY MORNING, WHICH WAS GREAT TIME-WISE, BUT I EXPECTED TWO WORKERS AND WAS TOLD TWO WOULD COME. THIS WAS DISAPPOINTING ONLY BECAUSE IT TOOK ALMOST ALL DAY, BUT I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THE JOB IT DIDN'T MATTER TOO MUCH. FRIENDS TELL ME THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM IN THE TRADES---SOMETIMES PEOPLE COMMIT TO A JOB AND THEN DON'T SHOW UP (YOU CAN DECIDE IF THAT IS TRUE!). AN ESTIMATE ON A SMALL BEDROOM (14' X 11') WAS QUOTED AT $325, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS VERY HIGH (BUT I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS--IT MAY BE A FAIR PRICE). ALL IN ALL, IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE: FINE WORKMANSHIP, VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY NEEDS; BUT MAY BE EXPENSIVE.

I USED HIM BEFORE AND HE DID A GOOD JOB AND I WAS HAPPY WITH THE WORK. I CALLED HIM BACK OUT FOR WORK THAT HE HAD BID ON A YEAR AGO, AND HE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE WHICH WAS $2000 HIGHER THAN THE FIRST ESTIMATE, AND THE ONLY THING I ADDED WAS WALLPAPERING. I TRIED TO TALK HIM DOWN ON THE COST AND HE SAID HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK.
