Description of Work: I have3 huge windows plus french doors and a kitchen window. My Hunter douglas honeycomb shades are 12 years old and were quite dirty. They came out to give us an estimate on new blinds which wasn't it our budget at this time. They showed the sun damage and said the blinds would come cleaner but not perfect. They were very honest and said if we decided after they cleaned them to buy new, they would refund the cleaning cost. They repaired an interior string on one blind and picked them up on tuesday and had them returned and hung on Thursday. They double cleaned each blind. Awesome job. Happy with results and their honesty and attentiveness. I will definitely consider them when its time to replace these blinds. Nice location in Downers Grove, small but nice showroom and they do all cleaning and repairing on site (two miles from my home!)

Description of Work: I have a set of 3 26yo custom walnut horizontal blinds. The middle blind wouldn't stay up so I called Jim at Lovitt's. He said my manufacturer was out of business and he couldn't get parts but he advised me on how I could possibly do the repair myself - It took me about 5 minutes - much better than driving from downtown Chicago to Downer's Grove and back but I would certainly use them if my Hunter Douglas blinds need repair. Great people. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: Got a quote and agreed on price to clean some blinds, 2 needed repair i was told it would take 2 weeks to repair to this date, i have not received a call to advise status on the repairs. Horrible customer service. Very Dissapointed.M. Owen

Description of Work: I had mini blinds and fabric Roman shades cleaned by full service which means an appointment to remove them from the windows, cleaned, delivered and re-installed. The man who came to remove the blinds was right on time, which was very good as I needed to have the window treatments down as painters were scheduled to begin work. I fussed a bit about the price, and Chris the driver, mentioned it to JIm Lovitt, President of the company who personally called me to discuss the process and pricing, and pointed out the company is certified to do this type of work, whereas some vendors are not. The blinds and fabric shades were delivered to the house and re-installed on time, and the company did an excellent job. I highly recommend the service and company and the pricing, after learning about the process involved, is fair due to the quality of the work Lovitt's does.
