Our experience with GreenLight Construction started on the day our siding and shingles started flying off the house during a wind storm in the Chicago area. We contacted GreenLight and they sent out a sales and claims specialist, Sergio Diaz, on the day of the wind storm. Sergio immediately reassured us that our insurance company would cover much of the damage and went into detail about how the process would work. He worked directly with our claims specialist and was always just a quick text or phone call away during the entire construction project. If we had questions, Sergio answered them right away. If we had concerns, Sergio addressed them immediately. The project is now complete, our house looks fantastic, and if we ever need services that GreenLight Construction provides, we will not hesitate to call and ask that Sergio Diaz come out to the house and walk us through our next project.

1. From the beginning of my contact with GreenLight Construction Group (GCG), I was impressed - specially their easy to navigate and complete website. 2. From the website, I made initial contact with GCG via an email through a communication link on their website. By the days end, I had received a reply....and we were off to a good start. 3. Then, conversation began with company owner, Joe Drew; a super friendly, customer service type of guy. The kind of person I like to do business with. I could sense his desire to make me a very satisfied customer right from the beginning of our initial conversations. 4. Within a couple of days, Joe was at my house providing me with a GCG introduction 3 ring binder (Impressive content) and a written job scope and price to complete the job. The introduction binder detailed his family, including color photos of his wife and children, as well as a section of charity work his company participates in Haiti and South Africa, including color photos. Also, within this binder was several pages of previous local jobs with addresses and phone numbers for references. Finally, this binder had color photos and descriptions of all the building material options available ie roof vents, ice shield, gutters, gutter guards etc. This binder contained information on everything I would like to know about this company. 5. On a personal note regarding company owner, Joe Drew, I felt that Joe was a man of character and integrity. Those two personal characteristic are hard to find. Additionally, I learned that Joe's personal goal is to "Live Life Deliberately." This saying was always below his signature in written communications and expressed verbally by Joe as well. In Joe, I was impressed by the leadership of this company. 6. Shortly after I signed the contract, a gentleman, Tom, called me to schedule the job. Tom also had strong customer service skills. Because I already had a high level of confidence in GCG, I felt that I could be out of town (in FL) while they did the work. (Normally, I would want to be home throughout the job to keep one eye on the work being preformed.) 7. So, I took my family to FL on vacation and the job was completed while we were gone. 8. When we returned, I was completely satisfied with the new roof and three skylights that were installed. (I went up on the roof and inspected myself. A nice job.) 9. Finally, I asked a retired neighbor, who lives across the street, for his impressions of the work that was performed. He said, "That company did a great job. Super clean and detailed throughout the roof removal and installation." Another neighbor actually went on the roof during the job and took pictures for me. This second neighbor also was impressed with the quality of workmanship. In fact, this neighbor has since signed a contract with GCG to do his roof. 10. So, in conclusion, I was completely satisfied with GreenLight Construction Group from my initial contact to the completion of the job and I would highly recommend this company.

I contacted Greenlight via a referral from a neighbor. Joe came out to look over my property and write an estimate. Their estimate was comparable to one I had previously. Based on Joe's knowledgeable presentation and explanation of the latest standards and practices of the roofing industry I decided to contract the work with Greenlight. Joe took the time required to answer all my questions and helped me grasp what was going to occur and why. Joe was concerned that the siding on my garage was too old or faded to match correctly, but within 10 days he had found siding that matched. On the scheduled day of the roof replacement, the crew arrived around 7:15 am. I spoke with the team leader and he explained that they would tarp around the entire house to catch debris and nails. They backed a trailer into my drive and the workers made every effort to toss all the old shingles and hardware directly into the trailer. They even put a tarp over my landscaping and a/c compressor. By 2:45 pm. the crew had completely replaced my roof, vents, drip edges, and hand painted the vent for the water heater to match the drip edges. There was a chance for rain later that evening, so the crew worked straight thru and completed the work without taking a break. When they left there were no traces that they had completed such a messy job. Weather permitting, a week later the siding crew completed the job while I was at work. When I got home I was very pleased how well the siding matched. A few days later the service coordinator Tom, called me to let me know when the gutter replacement would begin. The new gutters and down spouts were replaced and the color matched perfectly. I also requested that the gutter crew wrap the wood trim around my garage door in aluminum. It looks very professional!

It started off with a doorbell ring which I normally do not answer. The person that introduced himself to me was the Marketing Director Joe from Greenlight Construction,we had a brief discussion about the recent storm that passed and the wind and hail damage that was clearly visible regarding my roof. I was interested in doing business with Joe because of his professionalism and his ability to connect on a personal level. It is not common to deliver 100% when dealing with construction projects, there are normally issues with date of service, lack of material onsite and meeting customers demands. I have to say that we are extremely pleased with not only the product and the asthetics but also the level of communication provided by Joe. Job well done guys. I highly recommend Greenlight to anyone out there looking to replace a roof, you will not be making a bad investment. To those of you that are skeptical when contractors ring your bell, don't be when there is a Greenlight vehicle in front of your house. In late September, I contacted Joe at GreenLight Construction to provide a proposal for the work involved in replacing the roof on my residence. My call was returned promptly and he worked with my busy schedule to come out and present it. I was given 3 pricing options for quality composite roofing materials. His presentation was thorough and he was engaging and knowledgeable. I selected the architectural shingles and agreed to the contract 2 days later. Within 2.5 weeks the materials had been ordered and delivered and work began. The workers were careful around my perimeter plantings and worked over the course of ~a week to tear off the old roof and install the new one. Throughout the process, Joe and Tom, the supervisor, remained in contact to keep me informed about the progress on the job. They cleaned up the site daily. The work is well done with quality. Everyone in the process that I dealt with, do so with professionalism and in my best interests.

I thought it went well. The product for both jobs was delivered on time. We were told when the guys would be there and they performed all work as promised. Contact from Gina and Tom on details was upfront and honest, to the point and totally professional. I should be taking them for a thank you lunch. I was very satisfied. More then that, my wife was happy with me on the decision to use Greenlight. Which I may say is the best thing that could happen. Over all I would not go anywhere else for the job. I had the opportunity of working with the owner. This experience was wonderful. The job was scheduled for Monday, and when I arrived home at 3:30pm the crew was almost finished. I would highly recommend GreenLight and already gave the owners number to my brother to call, so we can also replace my moms roof in Joliet.

The sales reps were professional and timely. They helped with all aspects, from questions to selecting the shingle color. The day of the construction, they roofers were courteous, quiet, and neat. One worker stayed on the ground to continuously clear debris. We have a large steep roof, but they finished in two days. We have had a bit of rain since then, and no leaks! I received several quotes, and Greenlight Construction had the best quote and was the most professional. I can recommend them without reservation.

The roof on my home and garage were in desperate need of replacement. The Shingles on my garage were 45 years old there was decking damage as well. The Roof on my home had two layers of shingles. The last install was done close to 35 years ago. Sergio Diaz from Greenlight Construction told me he would work with my insurance company on getting a new roof for my house and garage. Sergio worked one on one with the Claims adjuster from my insurance company and even came out during the time the claims adjuster was here. He was able to get the deal done. My insurance company covered the cost of replacement. I could not have been happier. It only gets better. Sergio Diaz from Greenlight upgraded my vent system to a Ridge vent system for no additional cost, which gave my house a nice clean look. Not only that but he deducted the $340.00 allowed for replacing the original vents and applied it to my deductible which saved me money. Sergio worked to get the best possible price for me through the entire process. Sergio Diaz worked with me closely through the entire process and was attentive to my questions and concerns. The entire process could not have been any easier for me. The crew that came out and did the work were great as well. They worked 12 hours straight with only one half hour lunch. I was impressed. They cleaned up when they were done and you couldn't tell there was major construction going on earlier in the day.

My experience with Greenlight was a pretty smooth and easy transaction. I worked with Sergio and he explained everything in much detail and kept me updated as the project progressed. I also worked with Tom who was also on top of everything on the job and always let me know what was going on. I really didn't have to do much. When I asked them to do something, they had guys out there right away to accommodate me promptly. They went out of their way to make this easy and successful. They know how stressful a homeowner can be during construction and are mindful of that. They cleaned up nicely after the project and you would never know your property was once a construction zone. Really, my questions were answered before I even asked them and covered everything. Sergio even had before and after pictures and videos of them on the job to secure trust in them and a final Blessing from the owner himself which I am thankful for. This is a company that knows what their doing and backs up their work and guarantees it. Greenlight did a great job and I would recommend them any day to anyone.

Green Light was referred to me by a friend. They were great in responding quickly with any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire process from start to finish. They provided a new roof with a 30 year warranty. They finished all their work quickly and even came back to examine anything they missed or addressed my questions. They are great to work with therefore, I recommended three friends to them already and about to recommend another friend shortly. Well trained staff. Work started on Thanksgiving day in 2014. In spite of cold weather they were punctual and 5 team members completed the work. Due to wintry weather remaining work was completed in April-2015.

For the past 6 months my wife and I have been inconvenienced to no end. The job which was to begin in October finally began in December. After taking half down as a deposit we were told that the siding we chose was a "premium" color and would be an additional $1300. Since that would no longer fit in our budget we were forced to make a second choice. Countless times where appointments were broken, times that my wife or I took off of work or ended up going into work late. A month where we had no downspouts on our house because workers removed them while doing the siding promising the gutters would be installed after the weekend, the weekend that became a month. Two months where the wrong color and style shutters were left on our house which were a constant daily reminder of just how miserable we were from the entire experience. Getting charged by Comcast to run new cable in my house and backyard because workers covered the existing cable and connections with siding. There's still a large area on my wall where the siding bows out and the explanation I was given for it is unacceptable. While the siding was being installed my wife and I who are non-smokers were subjected to a constant array of 2nd hand smoke, there wasn't an instant that one of the workers didn't have a lit cigarette dangling out of his mouth. I can't even count how many butts we had to clean up after them. Customer service is practically non-existent. I don't think we were treated fairly at all and I am very disappointed.
