Firemen Sealcoating

They were scheduled to come out on Tuesday. Tuesday morning at 8:30am they called to say that due to the high humidity and the high chance of rain they would not be coming out that day. The temp was forecasted for upper 90s but very little chance of rain according to the forecast that I saw. They rescheduled for Thursday which was supposed to be even hotter. Thursday morning they showed up and completed the work. It rained Thursday afternoon but it didn't rain Tuesday and my driveway has squeegee marks and cracks still visible. For nearly twice the cost of other companies, I expected better work.

Did the good job that they ALWAYS do.

The quality of the work excellent. The professionalism not so great. Punctuality for phone calls poor. Responsiveness to phone calls poor. Lets start with the great, the work that was done on the driveway excellent, no run offs no splatter on my garage door and edges were all covered. Driveway roped off. Now the poor. Every time I tried to contact them it always went to voicemail. Now this could be because they are very busy or they monitor theirs calls first not sure which. The response time in returning a estimate was a day. I went to the web site and inquired for an estimate I received a call the following day. I then called back to schedule an appointment (VM) and got a response a few hours later. I then called to ask how to make a payment (VM) again and received a call back within an hour. Making a payment I was told can be either done via credit card on their web site or by mailing in the payment. I chose mailing it in but when they left a statement they requested that the check be made to a person NOT the company, found this a little strange. Over all due to the quality of the work that was done I would use them again. I wish that they would have someone available to answer the phones so that you did not have to play "Phone Tag".

Arrived at the end of the day. Asked workman to REALLY fill in the cracks carefully. Gave him a $20 tip in advance. He did NOT. Called office to ask for a return visit (and did not mention the tip). they never returned or called back.

Great job and great price. They did an excellent job quickly and there were no streaks on the driveway when they finished. I reccomend this company to all of our neighbors.

I had to reschedule which was no problem for the Firemen. They arrived at the re-scheduled time and did a good job. No wayward roller marks and no mess. My driveway looks great.

I have used them many times, but at a different address. They have always done a perfect job. They just leave an invoice and I pay them later, so I don't even have to be home.

Company did good work, came out as promised, neat work.

Call them and left message. Returned call next day and gave estimate on cost. Setup appointment for a Monday but they cancelled do to rain. Did work the next day.

I called Fireman's and got a recording asking that I leave my name, phone #, etc. They returned my call that evening and we set up an appointment. I had to change the appointment because of business issues. Katie reset the appointment with no problem.On the appointed day the Fireman's crew showed up at 10:30, well within the AM time frame. They set up and were finished in 30 to 45 minutes. This is the third year in a row I've used Fireman Sealcoat and I plan to continue using them as long as their service and quality remain at high levels. Each time they've done my driveway they've picked up customers, my neighbors see the job they do and hire them on the spot. I know they've picked up four of my neighbors and they're satisfied with the job done on their driveways.This is a company that does it's job very well without fanfare or drama.

I called Fireman's to have my driveway sealed as I have used them in the past. They were prompt and knocked on the door as I requested before the driveway was done. After the driveway was sealed, I noticed streaking so I called them to have the driveway redone explaining what the problem was. Unfortunately, the driveway looked worse the second time. So I put another call into Fireman's with a detailed message with no response. I am frustrated at this point and will use someone else next time.

On Monday June 4 I received a phone call stating that they wanted to reschedule for Friday June 7 due to rain in the forecast. It wound up not raining that day after all but I appreciated the fact that they weren't going to do a job which could be affected if it did rain. They came out on Friday afternoon, used a blower to clean the driveway, filled in some cracks and then applied the sealcoating material. They did a great job and did not get any material on the sidewalk or the curb. Staked the end of the drive with a string and warning flags and left the invoice in my mailbox. Very easy to work with, no hassles, fair price, and good work. A friend down the street asked me for their number because they need to get their driveway done as well.

Crew arrived in early afternoon. They cleaned and prepared the driveway surface although they did not power wash it as they claimed in their advertising.The sealcoating was applied thickly but evenly compared to other sealcoating company I used in the past. The job looked like it was done by professionals. When they finished they roped off the driveway to keep people from driving on it. They left an invoice an the amount given in their estimate. I would use their services again.

They were great. I will definitely use them again.

I had obtained a quote from Fireman's last year, but decided to hold off on sealcoating until this year. When I called back to schedule the work, they actually dropped their quote by ten dollars. I arranged for the work to be done while we were out of town, so that the driveway would not be in use for 5 days. When I inquired as to if I needed to pay in advance, I was told not to worry and we would settle up upon my return. We came home to newly sealed driveway complete with all cracks filled. About a week and a half later, I had to contact Fireman's and let them know that I had yet to see an invoice. They, again were not concerned. I paid them the $150 before I even got their invoice. They were incredibly easy to deal with and were very accomdating. I will be sure to call them again when next the driveway needs to be sealed.

Firemen Sealcoating did an excellent job. They stand by their excellence to make sure that the job gets done right. Howie, the owner, will get involved to make sure everything gets done correctly, and I appreciate that.

They came and took care of everything while we were at work which was very convenient for us. Everything looked great...no mess and no streaks or marks on the driveway itself. Very happy with the result.

The job took less than 15 minutes. There was no mess. I was pleased to see they postponed the job on the original date until the weather was suitable. Overall I was happy with the result.

After a number of calls finally got an estimate. they were real reluctant. Estimate was not very good in had caveat if they need a bigger hole cost will go up. That is not something I will sign, so I called them a number of times and she never answered by call. pass on these folks

I called Fireman's to set up an appointment to have my driveway sealed for winter. I got a recording asking me to leave my name, address, etc. and they would call me back. For one reason or another we never connected (this was my fault not Fireman's) at any rate we got an appointment set up. They arrived on time and while not too talkative, the crew (there were three of them) went about their business and did a nice job. When I spotted something (a twig) in the sealer and pointed it out to one of the workers he went over and removed it. Now that might seem like a trivial thing but he had to recover all the area to and from the spot where the twig was located, It took him and extra 5 to 10 minutes. One of my neighbors saw the nice job Fireman's did and asked for a quote, Long story short they ended up doing another neighbors driveway also. So Fireman's ended up with three jobs instead of just one.

They never called me back. I am chalking this up to the fact that it is busy season. I wish they would have provided me with at least a phone call.

Firemen has done sealcoating for us before and done a good job. This time they came promptly and did the job, but it rained later in the day washing away the undried sections of sealcoating. I called the next day to schedule a re-do and they came out the following day. They coated the entire driveway again, not just the washed out areas. They did a very neat job and made no fuss about having to redo the job after the rain damage. I'm very happy with their work.

Made the call for the appointment and it was handled immediately and I was given and date and time for the services to be performed and they were on time and the men were very polite and did a great job of sealcoating my driveway.

Did a great job providing me with a date of service and updated me when the service date was changed, due to weather.

Excellent job. They showed up when they said they would. The price was the same that they had quoted. They cleaned the drive, filled the cracks, and sealed the driveway. I haven't had my driveway sealed for about 8 years and it looks abosolutely fabulous. Great Job!!!
