Dave's Seamless Gutters

I liked Dave a ton. He returned my call quickly, and when he came out to give an estimate, I was impressed with his desire to save us as much money as possible. We didn't end up using him only because of timing issues.

We weren't sure whether our garage gutter could be repaired, or if it needed to be replaced. Dave returned our initial phone call in less than 24 hours, I described the symptoms, and we made arrangements for him to check things out the next day (a Saturday). Dave kept in contact to finalize the time and showed up right on schedule. Dave was able to reinstall the existing gutter and flashing, with the tools and extra parts (better hangers) he brought with him. He finished everything during that one visit in under an hour.

We were very satisified with Dave's work. Each day he arrived at the scheduled time, cleaned up debris quickly, and even returned in the early evening to complete the job because rain was forecasted.

Dave was on time, on budget and very proffessional.

Fantastic! Dave returned my call the same day and came out 2 days later (on a Saturday) to give us a written estimate. He was punctual and professional. We called him on the following Monday and told him we wanted him for the job (the price was very fair and he was rated very highly on Angie's List). He came out on Wednesday to remove the old, terrible gutters and finished the job on Thursday. Also, trimmed tree limbs, and cleaned up the area nicely. This is a contractor that I would definately use again and refer to all of my friends and family - without hesitation.

Terrible. Dave never returned my call until 2 two days later, asked if he had called or not, couldn't remember. Scheduling an estimate was problematic, Dave would never commit to being at my house at a certain time or not. I got up early one Saturday morning thinking he would be there but then he called and said he was already at another job, could he come tomorrow? I said what time...he said, well, maybe before 10 or after this and I said what time? He said he's have to check and it was back to square one - maybe I"ll be there, maybe I won't, we do not appreciate the lack of respect for our time.

Dave's was one of three estimates we had for gutter replacement. His was the lowest estimate and so we opted to use him, given his great reviews on Angie's List. He came out and did the work in one day - and did a great job. We'd highly recommend him.

The worker was personable and very quick. He finished on time. I am happy with everything.

We are very pleased. The new gutters are very sturdy looking. We haven't had any of the problems with leaking we were experiencing before the new gutters.

I called Dave to do an estimate on new gutters for my home and garage. He came the next day to do an estimate. He provided an estimate immediately after inspecting the work needed to be done and measuring. He provided suggestions for leaf control in the gutters and had a samples. We hired him to start in two weeks. He arrived on the set day to remove the old gutters while we were away at work. The next day he arrived with a helper and the gutters that were ordered. They started work about 8:30 and finished the entire job by 5:00. Everything was cleaned up when they left.

We purchased an old house that was getting water in the basement. The home inspector recommended repitching and rerouting some gutters to direct the water away from the house. Dave came out and had far and away the best quote. I felt comfortable hiring him based on other Angie's List reviews about how he did a great job for the money. He seemed a lot more knowledgeable about gutters than some of the higher priced vendors I talked to, and he even gave me some tips of things I could do cheaper myself by picking up a few parts at a hardware store. He came right on time on the day we agreed on and performed the work in less time than he estimated. A great job.

Called and left a message which was returned the same day. Took a few days to arrange the time for estimate but Dave arrived promptly per the agreed time and spent time explaining how he works. The work was done within 2 weeks of the estimate (would have been sooner but weather did not cooperate). Took down all the existing gutters and installed new gutters within a day. Dave came back on a Sun to complete the work installing the downspouts. We were happy with the new gutters, he fixed the pitch in several areas that were problems before. The price was lower than all the other estimates and the quality of the work was good. Dave himself who did the work was very personable and a real nice guy. Very easy to work with.

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! This was more than a wonderful experience. If you are shopping for gutters, do yourself a favor and stop here. Here's why: From the first time I spoke on the phone, Dave was different. He is such a genuinely nice guy--professional, polite, considerate. He showed up when he promised, and was very thorough in investigating the existing gutters and house. Dave did an outstanding job of describing the alternatives on the market to replacing gutters. He provided excellent ideas for altering the design of the existing gutters and adding a downspout. He also provided an incredibly unique system for eliminating leaves and debris in the gutters that was amazing. With it installed today, I tried it out, and it was laughingly simple and amazing and it lacks the flaws of secondary aluminum or vinyl, screens, covers, etc. It just rocks! Dave will not only strike you as being the most thorough, nice, and professional tradesman you have ever worked with, but the most honest. He was very willing to work with us on this "unexpected expense" and was very creative in making it fit the budget. He came up with multiple options for attacking the problem at hand and even offered to install the gutters in several stages to make it feasible. But based on his bid, we did it all at once--he was really fair and competitive. His crew was equally polite, professional, hardworking, and detailed. Frankly, we were overwhelmed at every point of contact we had with each of the team. Outstanding. An amazing installation; you could not tell from anywhere that old gutters and flashing had been pulled down and seamless over-sized aluminum gutters had been installed! I mean, how exciting are new gutters and down spouts??? This was amazing work, exceptional attention to detail, outstanding product and awesome service. I love the fact that Dave will undoubtedly be getting calls from my neighbors and friends. I will recommend him to my family, and once you use him you will too. Thanks, Dave for exceeding any and all expectations that we had, and for making us feel like the only customer in the world to your company. Especially since this was an unexpected expense, we love the quality job and work that you did. And you are right. The brackets you used are incredible. If you are researching gutters you are soon to learn how critical it is to avoid cheap and commonplace brackets--the ones Dave uses are awesome!!! Oh. And he came in under his bid. Yeah. You read that right. Wow. I still cannot believe it.

Gutter replacement is a relatively rare event, so I turned to Angie's List for direction. Upon reviewing the various companies, I came across Dave's Seamless Gutters based in my geographic area. After reading the many glowing reviews, I thought he must be the real thing. Contacted Dave. He came out, did a thorough review of the situation, making recommendations on improvements. He gave me an estimate and left his color chips with me as we are planning to paint the house and wanted the gutters to blend well with the planned colors. That was a real help in making the decision on gutter color. Once I had contracted him to do the job, he kept me informed as to times, etc., i.e., when old gutters would be removed, new gutters put up, etc. So often the customer is in the dark with regard to scheduling. It was a pleasure to work with someone like Dave who respected your schedule as well as his own. He and his helper, Dan, were on time. Worked steadily until the job was completed. They retouched areas where the old gutters had been, repositioned cable wires that had been attached to the old gutters and even took down outdoor Christmas lights that we had been unable to remove, now there is a full service company. Dave and Dan were wonderful to work with, did an excellent job, did a number of finishing touches such as clipping some bushes that were overhanging some lower gutters and left our home and property in perfect condition.

Dave came out to do an estimate for gutter screens. He was honest and friendly. He showed us one of the new gutter screen products and also talked about other alternatives. He talked also about his techniques for gutter installation and his warranty on his work. Although we did not use him in the end (our job ended up being very small) we certainly would consider using him if we needed new gutters.

I read all the reviews for Dave prior to hiring him and I thought this guy must be too good to be true. He turned out to be fantastic. He delivered on all promises including securing some loose siding at no charge. He even helped find the keys that my plumber lost. Dave definitely takes great pride in his work. In addition he never tried to persuade me to have services performed that were not necessary. When the job was done and I was reviewing the work I asked that the downspout be shifted slightly to be more center with my Perma-Seal Gutter shields. Rather than complain about my concrete block foundation which made this adjustment difficult he promised to come out several days later to complete my request. As promised several days later he came out and made the adjustment.

The experience with Dave was a very good one. Dave's customer service was excellent. He called back to set up an appointment showed up on time and gave a fair price for the work. He kept you informed on when he would be doing the work and showed up when he said he would. He also let you know when he was leaving for a lunch break, how long he would be gone and returned when he said he would. Our work was delayed by one day because the wrong material was given for the job. Dave informed us of the situation and promised the work would be done the next day and it was. A really good experience!

He has been doing his own work for about 15 years. The gutters are very sturdy, and he is very professional. He can customize whatever size gutter you need.

Terrific! Dave came out, advised we should not only re-install the crooked gutter, but re-pitch a couple, too, as they had been draining poorly. He said he would install clips on ALL the gutters, reattach the downspouts AND clean the gutters. AND he touched up the house paint where the old gutter line had been. All for a terrific price. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Dave is a very, very nice guy. I left a message for him on his voicemail and he called me back the same day. We arranged a time 4 days later for an estimate, and, though he said he could usually get to a job in 1-2 weeks, he was able to schedule me for the next day. When he said he would call, he did call. He removed the old gutters and assessed the wood underneath (which was sound); he carefully assessed where to put the downspouts for the best drainage. The new gutters are seamless and fit in very well with the house. He put flashing behind the gutters so that they wouldn't leak. He even repaired a couple of shingles while he was up on the roof, trimmed a few branches that were in the way of the downspouts, and repaired a small area on the soffit. He cleaned up after himself better than anyone who has ever done work for me before. And he was extremely polite!

Very professional and courteous, really knew their stuff, arrived and finished on time, excellent job.

Rather than replace the gutters which were not directing rain away from my house, which I had feared would be the case, he said that by rehanging them (they had been done incorrectly by the previous owner) and by adding three new downspouts, he could get them into good working order. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to work with the existing gutters, making needed improvements. He went the extra mile in order to ensure that the added downspouts would work, centering the downspout on the porch railing, and installing two downspouts so that they would work with the current sidewalk and driveway.

Called Dave and asked him to out for an estimate. He was on-time and did not charge for the estimate. He could do the work the next day if needed, but we wanted to check out some other companies. We decided to use Dave. He came a 1/2 hour early for the repair job ready to work. He was quick, the job site was cleaned up and he even repainted at no extra charge a small section of our wood trim where the gutter had scraped off the paint. He was pleased that we found him on Angie's List.

Dave was great. He charged exactly what he said he would. He was very honest. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He suggested things I might consider in the future. He was very pleasant and ease to deal with. He promptly returned calls and was very professional

I wish all business people operated like Dave. He returns calls promptly, shows up when he says he will, and does a high-quality job. This is the second time he's worked for us. This time, he replaced gutters that had been torn down as part of a roofing job. In addition to replacing the gutters, Dave has noticed a few problems with our roof that he not only told us about, but told us what we could do to fix the problems without replacing the roof, and where to get the product we needed. When he originally installed the product I asked about gutter covers, and he told me that he sold them, but that he didn't recommend them because they didn't work as well as he liked. This time, he told me that he has a new product that works very well, and we had them installed. It's very nice to deal with someone who is willing to forego a sale if the product isn't something that will do the job right. If I need additional gutter work done, I'll call Dave in a heartbeat.
