BRYAN'S GARAGE DOOR SOLUTIONS

It couldn't have gone better. When I called Bryan, he gave me a website to contact to see the doors he sells. He also suggested a couple of specific models after asking me a few questions. My husband and I decided on the model, Bryan came out, measured and answered a few of our questions. It was not a custom model door, and so he was able to get the door and install it within a day or two. He arrived at the appointed time, and the work took as long as he had estimated...two or two & 21/2 hours, as I remember. He left everything clean and neat and invited us to call if there was any problem. He lives and works right in our area, so we would get quick service if we needed it.

Awesome responsiveness and service - called at 9 AM and door was working 3.5 hours later. You might be able to find a half-assed repair for a bit less, but if you want to done right, call Bryan.

I called Bryan at 7:00 in the morning because my electric garage door was broken with my car inside. He had a couple of other appointments already scheduled that morning, but I needed to get my car out, so he coached me on how to do it manually. I couldn't get the door open so he rearranged his schedule and came right over and fixed the door--he was there by about 9:00 am. I was able to get my kids to school and make it to my other appointments. He was very professional and fast. He also gave me tips on maintaining the garage door (lubing hinges, etc.).

Called Bryan first thing Monday morning and explained that a spring had broken on our garage door. He indicated that he had a prior appointment but would come immediately after completing that job. Bryan called mid-morning and said he was on his way. Once he arrived, he was able to replace the door springs. He then showed us how to lubricate the door parts ourselves and what kind of lubricant to use. He was very helpful and we would not hesitate to use him again or to refer him to others.

Of the handful of highly-rated companies, Bryan was the only one that was answering his phone on a Saturday afternoon. We agreed on a price and he was scheduled to perform the work on the coming Monday. Bryan arrived much earlier that expected and had an upgraded (more powerful, more features, much longer warranty) door opener with him. Apparently, the upgraded unit was on sale from his distributor and Bryan chose it but did NOT pass on the extra cost to me. Bryan was very friendly and installed the new unit very quickly. He took the old unit with him.

Bryan arrived on time and finished the job quickly and without problems. Price was exactly what was quoted on the phone. He lubricated several places on the springs and door, and our garage door now works better than it has in several years. He showed me how to lubricate it in the future and even left us a small can of lubricant.

Bryan is great. My old opener simply gave out. I called Bryan, and he came out the same day. We had attempted a fix of the old opener two months earlier, and he had promised to refund the amount of the part used then, if it failed within the next couple of months (It was a used part as that was the only option for my quite old opener). Bryan was as good as his word. He is reliable, professional, incredibly responsive, very fairly priced, and a very pleasant person to deal with. I recommend him highly.

After consulting Angie's List, I called Bryan on a Monday morning and he was at my house an hour later. He installed a new Lift Master opener within 45 minutes. He also showed me how to lubricate the rollers and how to program my car's home link. He gave me an extra remote in trade for my old one, and he pleasantly surprised me by fixing my breezeway door that had been hanging on its stripped hinges since I hit it with my car awhile back! Bryan is very professional, polite, and friendly, and I would definitely hire him again.

Our very old garage door opener stopped working on a Saturday. We found Byran's name on Angies List Saturday night. By Monday afternoon, Bryan was able to be at our home to install a new garage door opener. Bryan explained things to us very well and we are very happy with our new garage door opener.

One more great job by Brian - not much I can say that hasn't already been put out there by his other customers. I picked him because of his great reviews and he lived up to expectations. I had one of many garage door motors that went out in the cold weather. We put up manually opening and closing it until it warmed enough to see if the damage was permanent. Brian offered a quote for repair and replacement. Given it was 10 years old, it was worth replacing for a bit more. Friendly, funny, fast, and knowledgeable on proper installation and maintenance. He even took time to answer a neighbor's question about a garage door problem she was having. I'd highly recommend him for any garage door/opener work.

Our automatic garage door opener failed on a Friday night. I called Bryan on Saturday and he returned my call the same day. I explained to him that the garage door would not open with the automatic door opener. We discussed the brand and age of the opener. He gave me two options to consider. Repairing the door opener or replacing it. Given the age of the opener and the cost of trying to repair a very old automatic garage opener, I opted for the replacement. He indicated that he was out of town but would call me back when he returned. He did so, and the service call was scheduled for Monday. He arrived promptly and proceeded to change out the opener with his apprentice. Once the opener was installed he provided me with instructions on how to maintain the opener which included physically showing me how to perform each maintenance step. In addition he advised me that purchasing a surge protector would be a wise decision as an added protection against power surges. I appreciated his suggestion and took his advise and bought a surge protector from the local hardware store.

Called at 9:00a on a saturday morning. Serviceman came out at 12:30 and was finished by 1:30. Typical service call is $75, but it was doubled ($150) since it was a Saturday call. He did give me the option of first appt on Monday, but I wanted the work done ASAP; it was worth the extra $75 to me.

I called Bryan and he gave a few options over the phone and I decided to go with the replacement. He called back and said that he was on his way within an hour. He is very knowledgeable and very interested in doing a good job to please the customer. Very neat with his work. He actually did a few other adjustments to make the door operate in a more efficient manner(for which he did not charge). Certainly will give him a call if needed.

Talked to Bryan on Friday morning (1/2/09). He gave me the cost and was able to do the work Friday afternoon even though he had 4 other service calls to make. The installation went very smoothly. Bryan is very personable, professional, knowledgeable and did the work very quickly. He discussed ways of improving the operation of my garage door and several maintenance tips. I am very satisfied with the installation.

Called him on a Friday morning. I asked for an estimate, told him I didn't really expect him to come out that day after we'd had 4-6 inches of snow the previous night. He said if the snow stopped he would try and come out later that day. He called mid-afternoon and completed the work in about 20 minutes. He also checked out the door and lubricated the hinges. The garage door hasn't worked that smoothly in some time! He was very polite and professional on the phone, courteous when he came out to do the work and I could tell that he was experienced at what he was doing.

Bryan was very prompt coming over to provide a quote and explained clearly the numerous challenges our situation presented and how he could deal with them. He showed us the different types of doors (with respect to both construction and styling) he could provide and explained the differences clearly. Although the garage is detached and unheated, we finally went with the high-end insulated ones for their better structural stability. (Cold winter weather suggests that this was a good idea, as the garage doesn't seem to get as cold as it used to.) Since he had the door parts in stock, there was no real delay in scheduling the work; the only hassle was that we needed to get a building permit first, but we managed to get that pretty quickly. He came as scheduled to install the doors and finished them in one day as promised, even though his expected helper didn't show up! The job did take somewhat longer than he expected because of the combination of no helper and (I think) having to get more lumber, but he stayed on until he was finished. He did a great job cleaning up afterwards and hauled away the old doors, hardware, etc., as promised. He did a really nice job fitting the doors neatly (and with a good seal) in somewhat uneven openings. The only problem we've had is some kind of interference between one door operator and the keyless entry system for the car we park on that side of the garage. When he couldn't figure out the problem directly, Bryan provided the manufacturer's customer service number which I'm going to try calling.

We had a garage door the wouldn't close on a very cold day. Called Bryan. At first he said he couldn't handle it because he was very busy but he told us a way we might fix it. Called him back when this didn't work and he said he was close by and would squeeze us in, which he did. Door fixed. Excellent job. Also gave us good advice on work that should be done in the Spring. He went the extra mile to help us and we appreciated his efforts and professionalism.

Dealing with Bryan was extremely efficient and he was very friendly and professional. He really knows his stuff, and gives you practical ideas on how to keep your door working well.

He was very responsive. Answered the phone immediately. He knows his business and made great recommendations for other products we may need in the future. He showed up on time and quickly and clean. He was thorough with his explanation and gave us a detailed written estimate ahead of time so there were no problems. No problems with the installation.

He's very prompt and responsive. I think he does a good job. He's easy to work with. Professional. Excellent quality of work. Fair pricing. I would use him again.

The garage door broke on a Saturday evening. It was clearly something that needed a professional so I searched Angie's List and found Bryan's Garage Door by both overall ratings as well as proximity to my house. He had excellent reviews for similar problems so I called and left a message on his cell phone. In my message I detailed that my situation wasn't an emergency and that as things turn out I would be at home on Tuesday afternoon so perhaps he could work me in at that time. Bryan called me Tuesday morning and confirmed he would be by. He arrived at exactly the time he said he would be there and fixed my garage door within about 10-15 minutes. He was clearly a knowledgeable, skilled professional who has mastered his areas of expertise and better yet an extremely nice person who was a pleasure to do business with. He gave me some excellent advice on maintenance and upkeep to hopefully avoid any further repairs. The total bill for the repair/service visit was $75 which was money well spent and was an unbeatable value for the service received. Conclusion: Bryan and Bryan's Garage Door Solutions are my new, one and only garage door go to person.

I set up an appointment with Bryan for Monday morning between 8 to 10 and he was there at 9:00 A.M. He was done with the entire job in 45 minutes. He was very professional and thorough. I would highly recommend him.

Bryan was able to come the same day I called him. I was expecting to need a new machine, as this one is 7 years old. But Bryan said he would troubleshoot, and was able to repair the opener. I've used Bryan before, and have always been very happy with his service. He is very responsive, his quality is excellent, he is very professional, and is well-priced. I recommend him highly.

I first did business with Bryan last year when the spring on one of my garage doors broke. Today the spring on the other door broke, and just like last time he came over within a couple of hours and fixed it quickly and professionally. He even gave me a small discount for my repeat business, as he remembered me from the review I wrote here last time. Definitely a recommendation with no reservations.
