Description of Work: Brian came and inspected the roof in May. The house roof was fine but there were shingles missing from the gazebo. Also, the roof fan had blown down from a recent storm. He said he would get the fan and install it, and also replace the few shingles on the gazebo (6 or 7 I believe). Did not hear from him again. I called and talked to Cindy; she said she would give him the message. It's now July 11 and it's still not done. If he was having trouble finding the fan...I understand, but why didn't he call me back? I still don't know if he intends to do this or not. I can not give a rating on work that was not done.

Description of Work: He first gave me an estimate for both the gutters and roof repair. After I found the original company that did my gutters, he gave me a price for the roof only. When the gutters were repaired, I no longer had a roof problem. I did not use their service.

Description of Work: We had the cedar siding for the entire house removed and replaced as well as the soffits, fascia, insulation and gutters. It was a big project. |Berg did a excellent job on all fronts. The house looks fantanstic!!! |Berg was a great company to work with from the very beginning. John Oros the sales representative for the company is very knowledgeable and responsive no matter how big or how small the question or issue. He is very easy to work with. |Dan Berg, the owner, was out at our house a number of times during the project checking on things. He is also incredibly responsive as well and pleasant to deal with. There was never a doubt in my mind that they genuinely care about the quality of service and product they provide to their customers. |Any construction project is going to have a bump or two in the road and you want someone who is going to be responsive and take care of the issue. Berg is that company. I don't want to leave the impression that we had issues or problems - just a very minor bump or two and that will happen with ALL construction jobs. What matters is how a company deals with those bumps and I never felt it was going to be an issue or my issue - they immediately would make it theirs to solve. |When I started to look at companies to work on this project, I got about 7 quotes from companies on Angie's list that work in the area. Berg wasn't the lowest but they were pretty close to it. In addition, they quoted specifics which led me to believe I wouldn't be running into a bunch of add ons. That proved to be true. From meeting with John, the sales rep, I got a feeling of confidence that this was the right company and that proved to be true. The other ones I spoke to left me with a feeling of doubt and also they weren't nearly as timely or responsive with their quotes. |I can recommend Berg without exception and believe you will be very satisfied with their work and working with them.

+ -1 moreAlthough scheduling was difficult at first because we signed the contract in November, once we mutually decided to wait out winter scheduling went smoothly. We were the second roof of the season and they did a great job. The price of the contract was honored even though it was a new season. Crew was nice, quick and polite. We will recommend to others and may call again for windows in the future.
Description of Work: We had a tear off and re-roof. Company found water damage to to plywood and had to replace some. In addition we had a ridge vent installed

+ -1 moreBerg did a complete roof tear off job for me. This was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. I dealt mainly with Tom. He was very punctual, courteous, and professional. He supplied me with a list of references and they checked out quite well. The workers showed up when Tom said they would, they completed my job in one day, and they left my property spotless, just like they said they would. Tom informed me of a ridge vent system that no other company told me about and I can already feel the difference inside my home. I got multiple quotes before I chose a company and Berg was by far the best out there. I will be using them for my siding and windows when I am ready.
