Description of Work: Berg provided us a quote to replace our cedar shake roof. Everything they did was fine, but we went with another company.

Description of Work: Wonderful experience! Bob the salesman was very professional, and the workers who tore off our old roof, replaced plywood as needed, and put on the new roof were very neat. The next day, another crew came by and installed gutters and downspouts. There was no debris in our yard afterwards, and we are extremely pleased with the way the house looks.

Description of Work: We had them put on a new roof and they did not put in a saddle between the roof line and the chimney and the snow sits there and builds up so we had a leak and they refused to come out and repair it. We had to contact a new roofing company to repair it.

Description of Work: Berg did the roof on our home and I wish I had called them years ago to do my siding and gutters as well. Dan Berg is true professional and he is passionate about the products and services his company provides. You will never go wrong with these guys. He uses only the highest quality products and has his own staff!! No subcontracting the labor and that is key. The team of guys installing our roof could not have been more professional. Take the time to offer these guys something cold to drink or eat. They really do appreciate it and certainly have earned it after the hours they put in!!

Description of Work: Replaced roof and skylights. Fixed a small area on roof this year that wasn't quite right and didn't charge us for it 2 years later. Came on time for quote and won the deal on price. Showed up on time and did a great job.

Description of Work: Called to set an appointment for an estimate after seeing their coupon in my local money mailer. I set the appointment. Never showed up. Never called. Happily purchased a brand new roof elsewhere. If you don't have time for me, I don't have time for you.

Description of Work: The did a good job replacing shingles on roof. The only thing that I was not happy with is that they were letting the bundles and letting them fall h****** the roof which not only scared the crap out of you, it made several nails pop down which I had to patch.

Description of Work: WE ACCEPTED A BID TO DO THE ROOF ON 7/14/09, 5 WEEKS LATER WITH NO SHOW NO CALL. FINALLY I CALLED FROM A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER AND GOT THROUGH TO MARTY THE SALESMAN. HE SAID HE NEEDED TO TALK TO ME ABOUT WHAT ADDITIONALLY NEEDED TO BE DONE. IT WAS TWICE THE PRICE. I STILL APPROVED. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD TO WAIT FOR A DRY SPELL. THAT CAME JUST BEFORE LABOR DAY. THEY CALLED AND WANTED TO KNOW WHERE THEY CAN PUT THE DUMPSTER FOR TRASH. I CALLED AND CALLED AND CALLED BUT NO RETURN CALL. I DID FINALLY GET THROUGH TO MARTY AND TOLD HIM I WANTED TO TALK TO THE OWNER "DAN" MARTY WOULD NOT GIVE HIS CELLPHONE NUMBER AS HE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE IT OUT. HUH?? WHAT KIND OF BUSINESSMAN WON'T GIVE OUT HIS PHONE NUMBER? HE SAID HE GAVE MY NUMBER TO DAN AND DAN WOULD CALL ME.. 5 DAYS LATER NO CALL.FINALLY I EMAILED THE COMPANY. THEY SAID "YOU SHOULD FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO YOUR ROOF. WHEN I REPLIED "WHY". NO RESPONSE THIS WAS AN 8000.00 JOB. IN THESE TIMES, I WOULD THINK THEY WOULD JUMP A PROJECT LIKE THIS. I SHOULD HAVE HAD AN INDICATION EARLY OF WHAT KIND OF COMPANY THIS WAS WHEN ONE OF MY VENDORS AND I HAD CATCH THE LADDER TO STOP MARTY FROM FALLING

Description of Work: Removed and replaced a roof with new architectural shingles, and also made some plywood fascia repairs.
