Called for removal of suspected raccoon from attic. They were booked so gave me an appointment for 6 days later. Nobody showed up, no call. Called office next day to see what was going on. Said appointment was cancelled by tech, no reason provided. They said they would get back to me to reschedule. 4 days later, still no call back. I called a competitor (Ace Animal Control) who gave me a same day appointment, and issue resolved on the spot.

I am actually very surprised Anderson asked me to review their company after the horrible experience I had. I wouldn’t recommend Anderson pest control to my worst enemy. The salesmen (his name was Elvis) promised me the world with their services (set traps, find and fill any possible entryways into the house as well as indicating where contractor services may be needed to fix any major house/foundation issues + spraying the property for bugs quarterly/whenever I want them to come and spray) and the technicians (David Orr) said "they don't do any of that stuff, they don't even give us the equipment to do that stuff, we just lay mouse traps". So they did not complete any of the services they promised to me and never gave me my money back after said they were going to do so. I had to file a fraud claim through my credit card company, and after they completed their process, they concluded that ANDERSON PEST CONTROL COMMITTED FRAUD and my money was returned. Horrible customer service. I can’t even call it customer service! After two weeks of going back and forth, and having them promise they would refund my money, the district manager (named Michael), offered to meet me in the middle and give me half my money back, for them NOT doing their job! So I went over his head to his boss, who wouldn't tell me his or her name. It took me relentlessly calling to finally get their guarantee they would pay me back for everything, but then THEY DIDN’T DO IT AGAIN! That is when I contacted the BBB and my credit card company. Don’t waste your time or money. BTW, I caught the mice with less than $3 in sticky traps from the hardware stores - try those first.

Contacted Anderson for a wasp control issue. After spending a considerable amount of time to make the appointment, Anderson scheduled me for the next week. Unfortunately Anderson did not keep the appointment. I contacted Anderson to follow up on the missed appointment and it seems all of my efforts to schedule an appointment and be available for Anderson was all for naught. Anderson could not find the appointment. The Service Rep who was very nice suspected that one of the companies Anderson contracts with for certain areas may have dropped the appointment. The amount of time to make the appointment then follow up why it was missed was irritating and I ended the call with no satisfaction. Afterwards I contacted Chicago Pests Control LLC. Chicago Pests kept their appointment and resolved the wasp issue at my grandmother's house.

Says free estimates. Does not -- charges $125 to come and do an estimate.

After first treatment I was told it would be about 3 weeks to see results. I saw the result within a week on the inside needed a second treatment for outside. Service performed in 2017. Results have been very good in 2018.

Horrible. This is a classic case where the sales representative promise you the world over the phone and then when you need continued service, operations give you nothing but excuses.

They were very helpful and professional on the phone. The first agent that came out was not helpful or thorough. We requested a second agent the next visit and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful! When we use them again we will only be requesting his service.

Talked to Anderson on Monday and scheduled an appointment for them to come on Tuesday afternoon between 1-5pm. My husband took off work to be there for the appointment. I did not receive an email confirmation after I got off the call. I called them back about 2 hours after my call to ask why I didn't receive an email. They said it was processing and not to worry. By end of day, never received confirmation and called again after business hours. Receptionist took my information. The next day, no one called me back. I called around 11am and they said they didn't have my appointment scheduled for that day. It never went through their system. After several more rounds of calls -waiting to hear if someone would come out - it never happened. I contacted another company and they were more professional and organized than Anderson. The amount of time I wasted trying to schedule the appointment was unnecessary and my husband took off work for nothing. This was Not an A service company.

They provide a good service, professional and they also put me on a schedule to come out automatically.

They seemed very professional, the wasp's nest was in a vent that was going towards the home while the vent was closed so the wasps couldn't get in there but they did it in such ways that there's no, they got rid of the wasps and got rid of the off spring and protected the home at the same time and went around and inspected all the areas and got rid of spiders and that sort of thing.

Great! I received a confirmation call prior to appointment, the representative showed up right on time and was extremely personable. He was very informative. He told me that their first choice would be to resolve the issue without having to kill the bees and destroy the nest if possible. Unfortunately, this was not the case with my situation which I fully understood. He assured me that he would return if the problem was not resolved. Happily, it was resolved and I am extremely pleased with the service. I would absolutely call Anderson again if needed.

Brandon showed up as scheduled and performed a thorough inspection of our home. He explained exactly what multiple insect species were, and what their behavior was, and how they'd be treated. He was very friendly and professional. We turned out to be termite free, so we did not need further paid service at the time. I would still recommend Anderson for multiple reasons. First, I really appreciate that they didn't try to sell me services I didn't need or use scare tactics to try to get my business. I also like that Anderson focuses on only treating problem areas around the home. They don't employ blanket poison spraying the way some other commercial pest control companies do. Less poison means less collateral damage to the environment, and less risk to our own family. I will certainly call them again when the next pest problem arises.

We have Anderson quarterly, but for problems they come out right away!! This time was bees/yellowjackets in the ground. They came Saturday, not enough...back today....wow, our technician really made an assault! She was her about 30-45 minutes. She made it a point to check first thing in the morning and call right away if needed. Anderson has always quickly responded to us!

Reuben checked other areas of the property and then proceeded to apply the pesticide to get rid of the yellow jackets. I am very alergic to insect stings so I appreciated the fast response to my call. Reuben also answered my questions with patience and was very professional. I would definitely use this company again.

I scheduled the service online 2 days in advance. That seemed to be the smallest amount of advance notice you can choose with scheduling online. I chose an appointment window of 1pm to 5pm. I received an automated call reminding me of the appointment the night before. The technician (Jim - he's actually a supervisor but was filling in for one of his guys that day) showed up promptly at 1pm. The wasp nest wasn't actually visible as the wasps had gotten into a crack between my door frame and the brick exterior of the house and built the nest in there. I had emptied 2 full cans of wasp spray over the previous week with no effect, so apparently the nest was inside far enough that I couldn't get a direct hit on it (which is necessary for the spray stuff). Instead, Jim had some sort of powder poison that he blew into the crack using a small hand pump. Apparently the wasps pick it up and take it back to the nest where it gets the rest of them. After he was done he wiped away most of the excess powder from the door frame. Jim told me that that one treatment should take care of all of wasps within 24-48 hours, but actually within about 6 hours all activity had stopped and 3 days later not a single wasp has been seen, so I guess it did the trick. All in all it only took him about 15 minutes. Payment was collected after he was done. I wanted to pay by credit card but he would have had to call it in, so just wrote a check instead. That would be my one suggestion for a way to improve - with all the technology out there (like Square) that allows pretty much anybody to take credit card payments, I would expect a company the size of Anderson to have something like that at least. But that's really a pretty minor item. All in all they did a really good job and would certainly recommend them in the future.

They charged $160 for two treatments.

Kevin was the technician who came to the house. He was very professional and courteous. He did a very thorough job and reminded me about the warranty for the service.

They have only come out once so far. We chose them because they offer less toxic products and are friendly for animals and children. They were able to come out on a Saturday. The technician arrived on time and he was very nice. So far, it seems that the treatment has been working and there have been less pests we are finding are the home.

Very thorough, friendly and explain everything they are doing. Check the entire house and outside of house. Had problems with mice and ants and no longer a problem.

Really liked the professionalism and quality of service.

Professional, prompt, informative, courteous and good at his job. Ray's the man and I wouldn't hesitate to call Anderson again. Anderson had to come out several times. They worked to rid the property of a cockroach problem that the previous owner had refused to address. When it was all finished the tenants were happy, I was happy and there were no more roaches. Job well done!

I had carpenter ants in a tree outside my house. They identified the nest and quickly flushed our and killed the colony

Their price were reasonable. The first visit didn't happen because for some reason the information that it was a second floor problem didn't get relayed so the first fellow that was supposed to come by didn't have a ladder. The second fellow did come by and treated it, he said it would take anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks and I think the problem was finally resolved itself in about 13 days so just short of the maximum time. He did come by a second time that I requested to treat again. I'd use them again. They are not the most expensive.
