It was good. There was additional work that they needed to do. They needed to replace the motherboard on the garage door opener. I paid a total of $140.

I received an emailed brochure of the many available Hormann garage door options. I was able to choose color, style, and window options -- all included in the same price. The installation was conveniently scheduled and work completed in a professional manner. The door looks great and with the new hardware seems to even be quieter than my old door.

I called this company because the hours on the Angies' website said 7am-4pm. I called at 7am and received an answering service. I left my information, waited half an hour, and still no call back. I called the service again. I had to provide all my information again. I was told I would get a call back. By the time I did, I had found another service to assist us. The point of this review is to simply point out that if you post hours of 7am-4pm, then an employee of the company - not an answering service - should be picking up the phone at 7am.

Fantastic from start to finish. They quickly, conveniently got out to give us options & a quote. We're flexible with install as work was being done on our house. The install was seamless, even caught some imperfections in the door that they are coming back to correct. Everyone we dealt with in the company was professional & happy! Overall, an experience that all should live up to!

Professional and courteous when calling to schedule appointment. Came out next day (offered to come same day). Quick repair. Fair price. Door works like new again. Will not hesitate to call again in the future.

Due to the original parts not being commonly available, they said they cost far more than what the deal covered. My husband okay'd the work, unfortunately, and it was completed. I feel like I got scammed, because I could have gotten a totally new opener for around $350.

The service went fine. They were great. I did have them twice. With the Big Deal, it was the first time I had them out. I remember being very pleased enough that I called them again a year later for something else. They left the area clean and everything was fine. They were prompt, professional, courteous, and very friendly.

I contacted them before I purchased this deal to ask specifically if they service Libertyville and they responded that they do. I went ahead and purchased the deal. They contacted me to schedule the appointment by email and scheduled me for today. I took a vacation day off of work. I contacted them to see about getting a smaller window other than 9-2, and they said cannot come out to me in Libertyville. I told them that I was already on the schedule and have the email they sent me. They just continued to tell me they do not service my area.

I am going to go with a different service. I do not need the inspection

Innovative called back with price for bottom seals, additional $119 ($3/ft plus another service call). Overall $269 is a lot of money for spray and rubber. Any way, I learned what to do and what not to do in the future and passed on the additional $119. Value is definitely not there!

It was OK. He made sure the motor was working. Scheduling was OK. They did what they were supposed to do.

Excellent. basically it was equivalent to the installers installing garage doors on 3 houses and they alomost completed the task in one day but actually it took 1 1/2 days but our primary concern was the quality of the doors (they are steel with 25 guage surface inside & out and 2" thick) and the workmanship, which was top notch. If something is not working perfectly they will keep adjusting things until they do. We have already had positive comments from the neighbors and more than one asked for their location, prices, and our brochure. The people in their office couldn't be more helpful to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted as far as the design & window combination and would actually check with their manufacturing center to make sure that they could give us the panel style and window combination we desired.. They also didn't hesitate when I asked them for local addresses of houses they did so that I could actually see their work in person & talk to the former customers. When a company does that you know they have nothing to hide. We actually had to reschedule because of other work we were having done that took longer than expected but they adjusted their schedule and put us in quickly after our project was complete. We replaced only one door opener because the other two (older Genies, screw drive) were still functional but the new "silent" opener they installed (3/4 hp Kevlar belt drive) is truly remarkable in it's quietness. When our other openers fail there is no doubt which opener we will replace them with. If people did their homework and compared the quality, workmanship, and price of these garage doors to the supposedly high end doors available at the home improvement stores for the same price range their decision would be easy. The weather trim around the door is also much better than what I have seen anywhere. The only reason I gave them a "B" in the price category is because they didn't apply Angies discount coupon to my final price nor did they mention it and I guess it is partially my fault also for forgetting to bring it up but I had forgotten and didn't remember it until I went back just now to write the review but it is what it is. Hopefully they will toss some crumbs our way for referrals when my neighbors hire them but if that never happens we are still very happy we hired them.

I need to find another provider of garage door - spring replacement provider.

They replaced two (2) panels of a 16ft garage door.

We had actually called another garage door company that my parents had used several times in the last 38 years at their home. However, that small business was temporarily closed due to a serious health issue in the family, so Innovative was taking their calls in the meantime. We ended up choosing their bid on the job due to price and quality of products used. We were very impressed at the way the office staff helped us make decisions on products, at how quickly the doors were manufactured to our specs, and the way the installation crew worked efficiently. The doors look and work great, and we have already used them again for our own renovation.
