House was damaged in a violent wind and hail storm. A friend had used 123 Exteriors to replace his roof so I asked them to look a my roof. 123 Exteriors did a remarkable job. They are very professional.

123 Exteriors did and excellent job on all of the work performed at our Bolingbrook home. The work was performed in a timely fashion, the crew was prompt and courteous. Our salesman Dale Haas, was courteous and knowledgeable in his field, and worked well with our insurance company handling our claim. Dale was always very accessible.

Fabulous - no problems at all. Company rep even came back next day to finish cleaning up as they ran out of daylight.

The truck delivered the roofing material about 7:30 and the roofing crew arrived and attacked the project.

I called 123 because I saw their sign at my neighbor's house. Alot of roofs were damaged in our neighborhood because of hail. Dale was our sales person. He came out promptly and inspected the roof. He explained his findings. He took care of calling our insurance company to make arrangements for their inspection. He was here at the time of their inspection as well. The insurance company agreed with Dale's findings. I picked out my roofing materials on the spot. I was told it would take 4 to six weeks.until the roof would be installed. Dale called to set an install date then the materials were dropped off in my driveway and the roof was installed within 2 days. The roof was installed in 1 day. I had to leave early the day of the install. I returned home around 6 PM. The installers were just finishing cleaning up from the install. There really was no signs of the roofers being there except for the new roof. They cleaned up perfectly.

From all the companies we contacted, 123 Exteriors was the most responsive. Dale Haas came to our house the next day to look at our roof. He was helpful in providing many options on what could be done. Our roof needed a complete tear off of 2 roofs. Work started on time after a few minor delays with rainy weather. The crew showed up and began work immediately. They worked into the evening to complete the job. They cleaned up around the house of all debris (shingle and nails). We're very pleased with the results. We would highly recommend them to others. The staff is courteous and professional.

Shortly after experiencing several violent storms in our area, we received two separate letters from 123 Exteriors explaining that they could inspect our home for any damage that may have been caused to our property. The letters also explained that any damage may also be covered by our insurance and in that case the only cost to us would be our deductible. After in depth research of this company on it's website and reviewing testimonials by their past customers, we were very impressed with their history and credentials and felt extremely confident in calling upon the company's sales rep to begin the process of assessing any damage to our home and making a claim with our insurance company for any damage sustained. The sales rep walked us through the entire process from inspection of our home, to filing the claim and being present during the inspection by the insurance company's claims adjuster. Every detail of what to expect was explained very carefully by the sales rep and he was very easy to work with and was always available every time we called to ask questions or resolve a concern. Even when there were times that he needed to tend to other duties, he sent another associate in his place to be at our side. The insurance adjusters that arrived to inspect our home knew the reps from 123 Exteriors and spoke highly of the company which increased our confidence. The decision was made that damage to our home was present and covered by our insurance policy. The process of restoration was begun. Our mortgage company was involved in processing the checks from the insurance company. The sales rep from 123 Exteriors was very helpful and patient, promptly providing additional information needed to make the process go smoothly. Once the monetary issues and legal documents were processed by our mortgage company, the materials were ordered and dates were scheduled immediately for the work to be performed. To our dismay, the scheduled dates we chose for the work to be done had to be moved up by two days due to inspections that were required by our city and according to their schedule, which was beyond the control of 123 Exteriors, but we had to do what needed to be done and re-scheduled the work dates. The sales rep from 123 Exteriors called to apologize several times. To our surprise the materials arrived a day earlier than agreed upon and then the workers to do the roofing also showed up a day early to start working, which we did not expect. Again the sales rep called to apologize for the scheduling mix ups and we approved moving forward with completing the job to be done. Luckily my husband was at home on vacation on the day the roofers arrived even though we had preferred that we both be present during construction. Both my husband and I were present on the following three days after the roof was completed to oversee the job of removing and replacing the siding. We had to contact the sales rep a few times for issues that occured, such as: a section of roofing on the covered front porch and our shed needed to be redone as nails were visible and covered with caulk along the top row of shingles which did not meet our satisfaction; our screen on the back entrance door was cut by a falling piece of siding; our basement window well covers were tossed across the lawn, cracked and unable to be reinstalled; the housing that holds the fuses for the fuse panel for our central air conditioning was also tossed into the lawn and our a/c did not work until I went out to investigate, pointing this out to one of the workers who then put the parts back together after I found the part laying in the lawn. When calling the rep immediately over these issues he was very concerned and promptly contacted the crew manager to rectify all issues. The sales rep told us to go ahead and have our screen repaired and purchase new window well covers, deducting the costs from the final payment for the job. The roofing crew returned to correct the issue with the protruding nails; the rows of shingles were removed and replaced with new shingles and the nails were placed out of sight as they should be. The crews worked a total of three and one half days to complete the entire job. All work has been performed to our complete satisfaction and we are very happy. The issues that occured were minor and were rectified immediately and we would definitely hire 123 Exteriors again. We fully and confidently recommend this company to all of our family and friends.

The price was right in with everyone else. We liked the head guy who came out and talked to us. They seemed to know their stuff. We are still waiting for one thing to get done, but overall they were pretty responsive.

Our overall experience with 123 Exteriors Inc. was great. They were very helpful in processing the insurance claim for hail damage and they made the process go much smoother than trying to complete the process by ourselves. We are very please with the quality of their work.

Company representative came to our home and was very professional. He gave us an idea of what type of hail damage our home had and contacted our insurance company. He was present when the insurance representative assessed the home damage and showed the agent in detail the damage. He was able to work efficiently with our insurance company. Our work was scheduled on the day we requested. Workers showed up right on time, got to work immediately and finished early. They were excellent. They cleaned up well after the job. Our home looks like it is brand new. Great job. Would highly recommend.

Not only did they do an excellent job, we referred them to three other households, and they also are very happy with the jobs they did on their homes. We are very particular and concise homeowners,and we never had a complaint with their workmanship, attitude, and work ethic. They gave us the best price ( we shopped four other companies), and they did a very professional job. I would not hesitate to reccommend them to anyone. They were always on time,cleaned up after themselves, and they kept us informed on what they were doing on a daily basis.

My experience from start to finish with 123 Exteriors was extremely positive. Not only was the 123 Exteriors representative trustworthy and professional, all of the workers performing the repairs were considerate, friendly and most importantly genuinely concerned for the high quality of work that they were performing. I found the 123 Exteriors representative very responsive, available and timely to any of my inquiries throughout the project. The workmanship performed, product quality, schedules and clean-up all happened exactly as it was explained to me at the very onset of this project. I felt very comfortable doing business with 123 Exteriors. Additionally, I always felt that they were being honest with me and and were indeed a company with integrity.

My neighbor next door had their roof installed by 123 Exteriors. While the roof was being installed, 123's sales rep knocked on my door, and inquired if I would be interested in an inspection at no cost. I noted that a number of my neighbors were having roofing projects completed (not all by 123) because of hail and wind storms that came through earlier in the year. The rep went on the roof with a camera, chalk, and clipboard and then came down and showed me several photos of damage to my roof in different areas. He believed the damage was extensive and serious enough to make a claim to my insurance company. He left me with information about his company, web address, and said that his firm would work with me to file the claim, if I decided to proceed. I held off for a couple of weeks, and spoke to my neighbor next door. He had his roof installed prior to mine, so I was able to see the crew and quality of work. My neighbor mentioned that his son's soccer friend's father had 123 install his roof, and called no fewer than 6 references prior to hiring 123. My neighbor said that was good enough for him. I looked at his roof, the paperwork the ref left with me, viewed their entire website, and decided to proceed. I called their rep, and he came over to the house with paperwork and called my insurance company. The contract stated that if the claim was accepted by the insurance company, 123 would be the contractor. If the claim was denied, the contract with 123 was null and void, no compensation/charges to be paid. My insurance company (Allstate) sent their claims adjustor over rather quickly. He came ahead of the contractor so that he could view the property. Bottom line, the adjustor stated he could not approve a case for hail damage as he could not make the determination of exactly when the damage occurred. However, he could approve a full claim for wind damage, as their was enough evidence that the roof had suffered damage that could support Allstate's payment. The claim was submitted promptly by the adjustor, and I received a check for 50% of the work to be completed. 123 showed me two books of shingles from nationally known companies, and advised which were standard vs. upgrade. I made my selection and work began within two weeks of my signing the formal contract. The actual installation went very smoothly. Work crews arrived on time and tarped everything. The moved my two stone garden earns away from the building and began removing the old roof. The only glitch came when some of the asphalt shingles fell into my delicate Japanese maple behind my home. I've nurtured that maple for years, so a broken branch was met with exasperation. The crew heard my angst and immediately telephoned the rep and 123's VP Operations. Both promptly came out and met with me, "what can we do to make this right, make you happy." After the install was complete, the rep walked the property with me noting shingles that needed to be fixed, marks on the cedar siding from falling shingles that needed to be removed, a bent gutter to be repaired. One point of note, I have four dogs and it was extremely important to me that all roofing nails, etc be removed from the grass. This was done completely to my satisfaction. I've yet to find one nail anywhere. The fixes that were noted above, were taken care of within 3 days of the completion of the install. A couple of weeks after the install, I noted some shingles buckling all over the front side of the roof and over the garage. I immediately called the rep and he alerted his VP, who was in the area, and came out to look at the project. There was a crew on hand on my property and they repaired everything. The VP explained that this can occur when shingles are newly laid, and that they will flatten out short term. I've now had the roof on for about a month and have not had any additional problems. The roof looks great. It was a professional job. Allstate has paid my claim in full. 123 has been very easy to work with, and very professional. There's no hard sell. The follow-up and responsiveness has been first rate.

It was great once we got everything going. There was a little problem with schedules, getting it all together but that can happen with anybody. We had a violent wind storm in April. There was no charge because it was under warranty.

This company put a flier in my door stating that I should contact them because my roof had hail damage. I then looked them up on Angie's List and decided to call them to schedule an appointment based on the good reviews that they had received. Their representative came out and based on his inspection of my garage roof only, informed me that I did have hail damage and should file a claim with my insurance company which they would assist with. The insurance adjuster came out and examined my entire roof (house as well as garage) along with the 123 representative and promptly informed me that my roof had absolutely no damage from hail or anything else. After the adjuster left, the rep. from 123 told me that he didn't agree with the adjuster but told me that it just doesn't pay to argue with the insurance company adjusters. So I am now left with, what I believe to be, a frivolous insurance claim on my record with my insurance company, in addition to having lost two hours from work in order to be home to meet with the adjuster during normal business hours.

I had some roofing companies coming out to check potential issues with a house I had just bought. 2 of the comapnies that only do roofing said I needed about $800 in work to replace a sheet of plywood and replace the shingles. 123 was doing a siding job across the street and saw the roofers at my house. They came over and intorduced themselves and offered to give me a quote. 15 minutes later the rep along with his manager came over and said the entire roof needsto be torn off. There was extensive rotting around the edges due to a lack of ice/water barrier. The other comapnies that only do roofs agreed there was no ice/water barrier but disagreed with the fix. There was no rotting around the perimeter and the fix 123 proposed was way esxcessive as the existing roof still has 7-10 years of life after the minor repairs I initially anticipated. All in all, 123 seems to be one of those that really wants to upsell you things you don't need.

From the time we contacted 123 to completion of the project, everyone was very professional, and out to see that our money was well spent. We contracted to have the work done in fall of 09. As soon as the weather broke in spring, the company called and gave us an install date. They arrived, completed the work on the roof in one day, cleaned up to the extent that you did not even know they were there. The next day the came out and installed the siding. Again, very professional, and when I arrived home, they were waiting for me. They told me to buy new shutters for the house and they would wait for me to come back with them so they could install them. I can't say I have ever dealt with a company as professional and caring about the work they did than 123 Exteriors, INc.

We had hail damage from a summer storm and a sales rep from the company came to the door to give his card. We used the company and worked with our insurance company to get siding replaced. Work was done when scheduled, large crew came and finished jod in about two days. There were a few fixes we wanted after examining work (end caps did not fit our bay windows correctly, trim around windows was sagging, and cables wee not hidden beneath siding) and all of them were fixed quickly. Because of the amount of the claim, our mortgage company was also involved so it took months to get all of the checks for payment and inspections done. Company was patient and worked with us because the claim also included the roof which we were doing ourselves so checks had to first be cashed by us then paid out to company minus our portion for the roof. A very complicated situation because of all involved, however all the work was done timely, problems were fixed quickly, and payment was waited for patiently. The crew broke our overhead porch light and address sign during work but salesman had no problem reimbursing for new ones. Head of crew also was willing to come back anytime to reinstall the new ones.

Very professional. Great follow through. Easy to work with.

Please know that this is my personal opinion of 1,2,3 Exteriors. They solicited me as a result of a hail storm in the neighborhood. They were very responsive and met with the insurance appraiser. As the project began, there were several issues concerning the village inspection and the replacement of some wood that was very suspect in my mind. Boards which I was told were bad were not replaced and those which appeared to be good initially, were replaced. I felt that what was said before the work was started was not carried out in the same manner as we agreed it would. Although the owner did come out personally to work toward a resolution (which was appreciated), I would rather have seen the inspection and replacement of some of the wood carried out as I was told. All in all, it appears that the roof is good quality, but I believe I could have received a bit more for the money from other companies. Not a terrible experience, but not a great experience either.

They called when they were coming and they were very neat with clean up. We had a very good experience with this company

123 Exteriors salesperson contacted us after a hail storm in our area. He scheduled an appointment with us, answered all of our insurance and process related questions. Worked with us through the insurance adjuster's inspection. Scheduled and completed the work in the estimated timeframe. Helped us keep our out of pocket costs to a minimum.

They started the days they said they would be there and completed the job ontime. The windows were done the first day , all 18 windows, and were completed before it started to rain. The next 2 days was installing the siding , facia, sofits, and window wrap. The downspouts were done on Friday with removal of the old ones. All the old material was removed and the place was cleaned every day. The shutters were ordered and this came in a week later which they installed on the day I was available. We have a new house and it looks great.
