Description of Work: Tomek can do anything and everything. He has built shelving, cabinetry, and done a kitchen renovation. He has also installed a stereo system and helped rebuild plaster walls and paint. He is great to work with. We have used him extensively for the last 4-5 years. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is very value oriented.

Description of Work: He did painting, plumbing, minor repairs and woodwork. He also has done a backsplash in our kitchen, wiring of speakers and built a fireplace mantle.

Description of Work: WMT Construction Inc. was doing some drywall repair with tiles, basically they have re-done the bathroom.

Description of Work: Tomak renovated my basement following a sump pump fail flood, providing an entirely new look to make the room perfect for my boys' bedroom. In addition to drywall, painting and other related work, he noticed and fixed details such as making sure that all the moldings, even those that were not affected by water damage, matched the new look of the space. In addition, he installed new ceramic tile entry ways at my front and back doors, replaced wood steps at the rear entrance of my home, replaced the ceramic tile around the fireplace hearth, and installed a number of light fixtures.

Description of Work: This past April, we used Tomek to repair our daughter's bathroom after we had some major damage done due to some ice damming. Tomek tore out and replaced all of the existing drywall on the walls and ceilings, repaired and redid the insulation, and repainted the entire bathroom.

Description of Work: Tomek is a competent general constractor. He has worked in two of our homes. The first in east Wilmette and readied the home for sale and the 2nd in east Glenview, Ilinois. He is worth every dollar we spent. What is also valuable about Tomek is that he usually has alternative solutions on how to do things and selects acts as if he were the owner making an informed decision. He found a better solution to vent a new furnace and the same on a garage door repair job. Tomek's skills and work he completed at our homes include the follow; Quality repair of plaster and drywall ceilings and walls Excellent painter of multiple rooms and ceilings Designed and built custom fireplace mantle Designed and built custom corner shelving for TV entertainment center Successfully mounted large articulating arm for 70 lb TV Installed ceiling and wall speakers and hid wiring Competently installed and exchanged new light fixtures & large dining room fixture Competently installed new sink and disposal Competently installed and rewired new cook top, Opened up wall to expand dining room Hired, ,directed and organized several other specialists including HVAC specialists, plumbers, hardwood flooring, carpet and roofer. We first learned about Tomek from a neighbor to undertake some ceiling repair and paint job for about $1200. Subsequently, he has repaired and installed drywall, installed lighting fixtures, repaired and renovated kitchens. Home depot wanted us to pay extra to install a new cook top, hook up the new disposal and sink - Tomek did it all in a couple of hours. We hired him initially as a painter and he is excellent, but he knows the best of all the trades and has coordinated a full replacement of our HVAC, installed new hardwood flooring, coordinated plumbers and carpet people and all the sub contractors were competent with his oversite and less expensive than competitors. Tomek is clean. He covers all furniture and cleans up every nights. He is fast. He designed and constructed a new fireplace mantle. I am not sure how much time he spent in the design, but he built the mantel in one morning, sanded and painted it in one day. He did the same with some shelving later. You can trust Tomek and his people to provide the best way to undertake a project, communicate how it should be done with thoughtful experienced reason and get it done quickly. Great work, great price - we fully recommend this guy for work in your home. He is completely trustworthy, and easy to have in the house.

Description of Work: We had our kitchen updated. The work included removing old tile floor and complete installation of new tile, new lighting, and cabinets counter, installation of appliances and painting.
