+ 0 moreTom determined that the problem was not actually the hot water but the cold water entering the hot water heater. He repaired it in less than 30 minutes and didn't try to create any false charges. He was honest and took the time to explain everything!

+ -1 moreIt was really good. I had a plumber come in from Angie’s List and he was really good. He was so good too. He quoted me over the phone $300 but when he did the job I think it was $200. So it was even better. He quoted me one price and it was even less than what he said. He taught me a few tricks to prevent a backup in the bathroom sinks, to prevent clogs. That was really good. He is very personable.
Description of Work: He did a re-hook of the sink because we had counter-tops replaced and before they did the counter-tops they disconnected the sink.

Description of Work: I've used Tom many times over the past years. He's great with old plumbing! I've had him rod out my drains, replace faucets, install new shut offs, fix leaky dishwasher, etc.

+ -1 moreI called Tom Persino to replace 2 back to back shower valves in my upstairs bathrooms. He was already familiar with the setup since he has replaced several of these in our nieghborhood previously on referrals. As Tom is a personal friend of mine I did not ask for a quote trusting he would select the apropriate fixture at a reasonable cost for the job. Tom was very flexible in adjusting to a service time and water interuption time for our convienience. He arrived with all the materials and the fixtures as scheduled after confirming ahead of time and completed the work in a few hours. He selected an economic reliable fixture similiar to our existing ones and was able to do all the work from one bathroom. He checked everything out before he left and even turned all the lights out we left on for him.
Description of Work: Tom installed 2 new complete shower valves in my upstairs bathrooms. He chose an ecomonic/reliable moen fixture and was able to install both (back to back) shower valves through one existing opening I enlarged in one bathroom saving me the cost of patching and tile repairs to the 2nd bathroom. Tom is a personal friend of mine who I served with in the armed forces. I have recommended his services to many friends, family and neighbors. He is honest and charges a very competetive price as compared to other plumbing services with much higher overhead. Although he may not be aware of this he has been nicknamed " The Talking Plumber" due to his outgoing, friendly and talkative personality. Super nice guy with a great heart and an awesome plumber !

Description of Work: This plumber was recommended by my real estate agent. Tom Persino is a wonderful plumber. He does what he says for what he quoted and much cheaper than the guys with their names on their trucks. He replaced all of my horzontal pipes to increase water pressure, replaced a faucet on a utility sink, did a new outdoor water spigot, and installed a new disposer.

I remember that his rates were reasonable. He pretty much has a one man crew. I thought he did an outstanding job.
