Description of Work: there was mutiple phone calls made to set up a time and one follow through from them stating that they were very busy bc of the weather. The gentleman stated that he would call me back and I never heard from him again. I did make another call and email and never heard back. I had my money refunded by Angie's list.

Description of Work: We wanted to install a power outlet on the ceiling. The electricians walked around the house for 30 minutes and couldn't suggest a good solution but to tell us they need to cut the walls and try to find the electric line that they can connect the outlet, if it doesn't work then they will need to cut the wall at another place. They estimated the price to be around $700 to $1000 for electrical outlet only depending on how complicated the work is. We finally decided not the use them but to use a contractor recommended by Home Depot. It took one hour for him to fish and install the electric outlet on the ceiling and cost us $300 total without any wall got cut/damaged.

Description of Work: Chris was great. He was patient, as he traced the source of an electrical problem through the house. He was educational and kept me informed each step of the way. He also gave me an email after summarizing what he did and he included an invoice. He was great! I would definitely recommend him!

Description of Work: Supposed to change out 5 smoke detectors and look at a problem with a light switch. It took them all 2 hours to install the detectors and didn't do anything with the light switch

Description of Work: Chris arrived during the 2 hour window as agreed upon. He quickly checked out the two ceiling fans in question, and reconnected the fan that was my primary concern. Everything went smoothly and professionally, and within 45 minutes he was on his way.

Description of Work: pulled old fixture over sink--replaced with new fixture. Replaced light fixture in garage.

Description of Work: The service appointment was between 10 AM to noon. I called the electrician at 11:45 AM and was informed of a delay due to unexpected short-staffing. He finally came around 4 PM and did a nice job replacing a ceiling fan in a bedroom and a light fixture in a bathroom. | |It took quite some time for him to replace a small light fixture by the steps. He told me about the quirky wiring practices of homes in Oak Park and tried to adjust it as best as he could. He assured me that the light fixture would not fall, but it was still wobbly to the touch. | |All in all, the electrician arrived late without informing me in advance. He did a nice job on just two out of three fixtures. |

Description of Work: Chris I OUTSTANDING!! One of the most professional, hard working and caring workers I've ever had in my home! Goes out of his way to accommodate my needs and smiles the whole time. Any electrical work I need, I will ALWAYS call Chris. He worked me into a busy schedule and one of my parts was missing, not a problem for Chris. He came back as soon as I had the part in my hand, came late that same afternoon. Cleaned up all his dust! He cares!
