Description of Work: This group came in and took a day to install for lights. They ended up charging close to $600 above the $250 we paid on Angie's list. The lead electrical person had an unexperienced friend helping which slowed the work down. The final work left big holes around can lighting which we are paying extra money to repair. Very unsatisfied

Description of Work: I purchased the two hours of service for $129. After a few weeks with no response, I called the gentlemen. He was crawling an attic and send he was really busy. I gave him my number and he has yet to follow up. I just want my money back.

Description of Work: Excellent service! Very efficient and friendly. Would definitely use their services again.

Description of Work: He patched holes and painted over patches including an unsightly plastering from below a newly installed oven. He was a little forgetful and I called him back to paint the bathroom patches which he forgot but work was fine.

Description of Work: Difficult communicating with this company. Hard to reach, slow to resoond except when I contacted Angie's list to complain - then they were available but antagonistic.

Description of Work: Replaced several light switches and diagnosed an issue I was having with my front porch lights. The work was done very quickly and I wasn't charged for any extra time that the challenge of replacing a four-way switch.

Description of Work: Was hoping to have two floor board heating units installed in finished room above garage. Investigated and thought would require a full day vs the 2 hours we purchased. Installed a couple of dimmers and scoped the project while here.

Description of Work: I used the Angie's List deal for two hours of electrical labor. Several of my lights were out in our basement, and I wanted an analysis done of the situation. The electrician pulled many of my ceiling tiles down and took off the switch covers. After hours of analyzing he told me that the problem related to an issue inside of my ceiling that was not reachable due to wooden soffits. He said he would have to cut holes through the soffit and even then couldn't guarantee that he could fix anything. At this point, we had lost electricity in our living room and one upstairs bedroom. |I was concerned and called an electrician friend who lived nearby to come and hear what this electrician was telling me. As it turns out, Handyman did not need to cut a hole in the soffit, in fact, he only needed to remove one additional ceiling tile to reach the problem area. My friend removed the ceiling tile, and with a few minutes of work, our electricity upstairs came back one. At this point, Handyman and Sons left. They never fixed the problem with our basement lights, and if I had not insisted on it, he would have left us without electricity in our living room and bedroom - both of which were working fine before he arrived. When he left, he didn't bother to put the switch covers or the ceiling tiles back the way he found them. Thankfully, my electrician friend (who I deeply regret not calling in the first place), came back the next day and found the problem with the basement lights within minutes. He fixed it and put back the ceiling tiles and switch covers that Handyman and Sons simply left. This was not just a waste of $129, but a waste of my time and if it were not for my friend, I would've been worse off after hiring Handyman and Sons than if I hadn't. Very disappointing.
