I purchased the deal for $75 here on Angie's List and it turned out to be an awesome decision! Chris is extremely friendly and professional. He definitely got the job well done and I'll be hiring him for other electrical jobs and garage door maintenance in the future.

Chris was on time, competent and extremely thorough.

The service was great, very knowledgeable, fixed what needed to be fixed. He was able to schedul me on a Sunday which was great. He is due to come back to fix the bathroom fan.

Chris did a great job! He was immediately responsive to my inquiry, and asked good clarifying questions about the job prior to arrival. Upon arrival, he got straight to work in addressing the projects on our list. He solved he initial electrical problem that we called about, and then set upon using the remainder of the contracted time from the Big Deal to address other household issues. Chris was friendly, efficient, and excellent at making useful suggestions about how we might address problems, and save money. We will definitely be hiring him again!

We purchased the 79 dollar electrician 2 hour special from Angie's List. Before the purchase, I had called Chris from Handyman and Sons to assure that they would travel to our far NW suburbs. Chris told me that he travels just about everywhere in the greater Chicago area and the North. Within a few hours of ordering the Angie's List 79 dollar deal, I received a call from Chris to schedule the appointment for the two hours of service. He also talked to us about preparing for the visit by having parts ready to install so that we could save money. This showed his value in being honest. During the week, I had a couple of questions, which Chris answered that day. He is an excellent communicator. The night before the visit, he called to confirm the appointment. Chris drove many miles to our house and arrived on time very early on Saturday morning, revealing his commitment to punctuality and professionalism. Chris and his associate, John, worked well together and both were extremely efficient and courteous. It was amazing to us that they were able to get all the items on our list completed within 3 hours and gave us a very fair rate for a hard days work. We have had many electricians to our house and none have been as efficient as Chris, none have been as fair as him and none have been as professional. I would recommend Chris from Handyman and Sons without reservation. We will be calling upon Chris to help us out again when we need something repaired. We understand that he is very busy, but we are willing to wait our turn to have only the best assist us with our home.

I cannot say enough positive things about Chris. He is timely, professional, qualified and just a genuinely nice guy. The installation of my blinds took a bit longer than expected, as the directions weren't too clear, but Chris did not leave until he had them up and running (and I know he had another job to go to). Wish I could give an A+++ as he is awesome. I will hire him for replace my ceiling fans soon and I know he does garage door work so I will keep him in mind for that. I highly recommend Chris if you are looking for a skilled electrician or a handyman for other purposes.

Terrific. Outlet was replaced quickly and efficiently. I most appreciate his offer to look around and find things to repair to use up the extra time that was paid for in the offer.

Chris was wonderful. He was so great at communicating with me about appointment time and possible delays. He came on a Saturday of all days because it fit my schedule. He was great at explaining in detail what would need to be done to get a ceiling fan up where no outlet existed. He conferred with me and my husband before doing anything that involved altering our walls. He even let us know that he found signs of mice in our attic. He was very courteous and cleaned up after himself. He is very professional and let us know if there were limitations to his ability instead of doing a botch job. The fan looks great. Definitely will be recommending him.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Chris. The job proved more difficult than expected. First, Chris identified an issue with the previous wiring and corrected it so the new fixture would be wired properly and safe. Chris then had the difficult task of retrofitting the new fan into the previous opening without attic access. Unfortunately the job took roughly an hour longer than had been anticipated but Chris was a man of his word and gave me the originally quoted price. He was very professional and honest. My only negative mark (very small) was that he was unable to get the fan flush with the ceiling and left it as good as he could get it. I only knock it because I was able to correct the issue today so it is now flush. Overall, I would highly recommend this company.

Was in neighborhood, came by ASAP, replaced outlet in backyard, then I asked, on a whim, if he could do the ceiling fan. He had time and did it. Nice guy. Reasonably priced. And did it when I asked did not postpone the job to another time.

Chris is very knowledgeable He took care of everything with the delivery and removal of old door.He was on time ,took the time to answer all of my stupid questions.I thought it would take a couple of days,but he got it all done in one day.I don't think the job could have come out any better.He really takes pride in his work.
