Our front walkway and entryway were cracking and in bad shape - we called several contractors but did not get a response from them regarding an estimate. When we called PaveStone we spoke with Mario, he came out the very next day and we received the estimate immediately after our meeting. Due to the early November cold, the job had to be postponed until this Spring. Mario kept us up-to-date and notified us with the start date this Spring, we did not have to call him to find out when they would begin the work. Once the work began, the crew arrived exactly when they said, kept us informed of the progress and upon completion the job is absolutely beautiful. We are so delighted with the outcome. In addition to the wonderful job done, we needed to have our posts replaced and Mario went out of his way to contact our contractor (who by the way was Lupfer Builders, Inc. ,also on Angie's list) to make sure that everything was secured safely until the posts were set. We highly recommend PaveStone Brick Builders - they are a quality company from the initial estimate process to the actual job completion. We would definitely use their services again.

Ricky and his crew were top notch. They were professional, on time and the quality of the workmanship is exceptional. We are extremely happy with our end result and won't hesitate to have them do work for us in the future.

Mario was very competitive on pricing, and explained the bid very thorughly. Ive never had the pleasure of working with such a professional contractor. Throughout the entire process I received phone calls explaining where the permit was in process, dates of install, and finish times. The crew was the most clean and meticulous Ive ever seen with both their hardscaping and landscaping. Our patio is truly exceptional in design and craftsmanship being installed with a herringbone pattern and outlined in a soldier row. Mario helped us mix 3 different brick colors to get the chicago brick paver design we wanted. Mario and his crew also set 4 piers that extend below the frost line that I will be installing a pergola onto. The city inspector that came to my jobsite actually said that hes never seen such meticulous work. The backyard was uneven and would flood due to the natural swail being filled with dirt and mulch. Mario and his crew excavated a 5 footy 2 foot deep swail lined with memberane and river rock. pavestone also regraded the entire yard with several truckfuls of soil. The sod was fresh and laid to perfection. Mario also gave me turf care and watering instructions. The yard looks like a golf course and even with a 4 inch rain in 24 hrs. the yard was drained perfectly. Although Pavestone is recognized as a top tier paver design and install company, they should also be listed as tops in landscape design and install. I am happy to serve as a reference and will always call Mario with my landscape and hardscape needs. Both my wife and I have remodeled several homes inside and out and have NEVER worked with such an honest and high level artisan. Great job Pavestone we absolutely love our backyard!

The issues that I had after the work was done were resolved and Pavestone assured that they would respond immediately if any other work need to be corrected. I am grateful for them standing by their workmanship and materials after the initial installation.

The process was easy. Ricky was so helpful and bent over backwards to make sure I had what I needed to decide which pavers I wanted and how I wanted to place them. The final work is superior! The pavers are arranged beautifully and are laid down perfectly. Everyone who sees them comments on how great they look. We are thrilled!

Mike was amazing at getting this Patio Done in time for a big party we were hosting. He really hustled to get the job done fast and the final result was amazing. Our patio is truly a beauty to use and look at!

I received bids from 4 different companies. I chose Ricky because he was very down to earth and easy to talk with. He did a superb job communicating on exactly how the process would go, what materials would be used and how the materials would be applied. I never felt any pressure as I did with the other companies. His crew did a terrific job. They all worked so well together. His foreman, Damien, came up with good alternatives when obstacles got in the way. You could tell they all took pride in the job they do. The patio turned out more beautiful than I expected. I highly recommend Pavestone and they sure deserve an A++ rating from me!

We contacted Pavestone and were able to get someone to come out for an estimate on a Saturday which was great for us b/c they accommodated our schedule. Their responsiveness was great. Between calling them initially and the work getting done, it was a week. They came out as scheduled and on time and did a great, clean job. The workers were pros and Ricky, the consultant we had was great and a total pro as well. We really like the work and would use them again in the future for other brick work in the backyard that we're thinking about. We've gotten compliments on the look of our driveway as well.

They were great. They were very prompt, did good work and had good follow-up when we had a concern with it. They came in and fixed it right away. They also did quality work.

Ricky came out for an estimate on a backyard patio and we discussed with him another estimate we had received from a competitor company. He was upfront and honest with us, telling us that what had been previously designed (and what we were quoted on) wasn't at scale with the look we were going for. After much consulting on the general look and feel we were going for, design, materials, he took some measurements and gave us an estimate on the spot. (Much different experience from his competitor who simply "eyeballed" it and gave us a lowball estimate which would, undoubtedly, double in cost once we redesigned it to the size we actually needed. Ricky took into account my aesthetics; however, made suggestions on layout based on his experience (ie: where to place the fire pit, how big the sitting walls should be, etc.). We immediately put down a deposit and locked in a start date for our patio to be built! It was pretty far into the summer, which was a bummer; however, it was our fault for waiting until June to book them. In subsequent weeks, we met Ricky at Lurvey's to pick out materials and remained in great contact. Ricky arrived with his crew at 8am on Wednesday. They laid out the design in the background, gained my final approval and went to work! His team worked so hard and were very communicative when needed. By Friday, they were almost done! Ricky didn't like how a pathway was looking (based on a weird slope/ramp); however, was able to come up with a solution on the spot. He ran it by my husband who was home and loved the idea and then spent 10 minutes on the phone with me explaining in detail what it would look like. He ensured I was happy before moving forward. I returned home from work on Friday to a full transformation in my backyard! A brand new beautiful 400sqft patio with 4 sitting walls and stairs up to our deck! I love it already and can't wait for my furniture to arrive so that I can entertain! Ricky was a blessing to work with and we are very impressed with the work that was done.

I can't say enough about this company and working with Mario. Mario gave us the best customer service I've ever experienced with any company. In today's world, that means alot to us. The work was done on time and exactly how he described it. He spent alot of time with us planning, designing, and picking out the stone that would look good with our home. His workers were wonderful, as well. Even our neighbors made comments about how they never stopped working except to eat. they always cleaned up the backyard before leaving. We love, love, love, our patio and we loved with Pavestone and Mario. I would highly recommended Pavestone to anyone.

I contacted them on 4-4-14 and they responded asap. We set up an appointment and Mario came out. He measured the space and gave me references, etc. HIs price was higher than the quote I ended up going with. Everything else about it the company was fine.

Ricky Sette and the PaveStone team did an amazing job. They started with a design we came up with, made very helpful suggestions, and then did the work--as designed--better than we ever could have hoped. They were on the job just when they promised, were friendly and responsive throughout the actual work, and left us with a spectacularly finished space. What had been an eyesore is now a beautiful addition to our home. We could not be more pleased.

Mario and his team are very customer service oriented. The installers had 15% of the patio laid and asked if it was ok. I explained that I wanted a more random pattern and they said no problem and started all over again over. When finished we noticed some water spots as a result of rain during installation of the polymeric sand. I called Mario and he had his crew return the next day to fix it I highly recommend Pavestone. Mario will not quit until you are 100% satisfied.

We are very happy with the service provided. It has been a crazy unpredictable winter but these hard workers always showed up! We leave for work early in the morning and have never had a problem getting out of our driveway. If it snowed more during the day, we were always shoveled out by the time that we arrived home. My husband and I appreciated that they are professional, responsive and responsible and will be happy to use them next year.

I called them for snow plowing services and they never had the courtesy to return my call.

Our patio looks great. From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with everyone at Pavestone. To start, Ricky, one of the partners, came out to do the estimate and spent a lot of time with us helping us understand our options, the process and details of the cost. We chose Pavestone because not only was their estimate very competitive with other brick paving companies but we could tell that this was a company that would be easy to work with. We could tell that they focused on customer service and ensuring a fabulous end product. Ricky was very helpful in helping us select our brick. He brought samples to our house and even met us at the brickyard to make sure we were comfortable that we would love the brick we selected. He also gave us an extensive list of references where we could see examples of their actual work. Ricky also handled all aspects of the job for us including getting JULIE and village permits. Throughout the entire process, Ricky was very responsive anytime we had questions. The crew worked for over 7 days and did a great job. They were very polite and courteous and cleaned up every night. We were kept well informed about every stage of the installation process and they ensured we were satisfied with all aspects of the work. We also really like the fact that installation is guaranteed for 5 years. We are completely satisfied and would highly recommend Pavestone. They are very professional with excellent customer service.

The guys at Pavestone did a wonderful job. My paver patio looks great! They were easy to work with, had great suggestions on which product to go with, and kept me informed on every step of the installation process. Very happy with the work they did!

Mario an d the crew were very professional. They did an excellent job and cleaned up nightly. This was compounded by the fact that the city was also doing street re surfacing. They worked with the city to coordinate the job. The removal of the old patio, preparing and laying of the pavers was completed in 3 days. Right on schedule. We love our new patio. I would highly recommend Pavestone Brick paving.

Overall, Pavestone did a wonderful job from beginning to end. Unlike landscapers who attempt to do everything, Pavestone is focused on brick paving for patios, driveways and walkways. Mario Sette (owner) responded quickly to survey the prospective job and provide a written proposal. Mario explained all of the steps they go through and provided a competitive bid. The crew worked for 2 1/2 days and they were efficient and did everything expertly regarding installation of the new patio. They were mindful of noise and dust created by breaking up the old concrete and tried to minimize the disruption. They put plywood down over grass to transport the old concrete and new paving materials to the rear of the house. They also did a fine cleanup at the end of the project. I would recommend them to others without reservation, and will use them again should the need arise.

The work was completed in 2 days (plus a touch up) and looks phenomenal! We were totally pleased with the quality and the professionalism of the team. Mario is wonderful to work with. On the first day, the old stoop & sidewalk were torn out, the stoop was repaired & leveled, and the walkway base was laid. On the second day, the stone was laid and polymer sand was put in the spaces. There were just a couple places where the sand didn't hold and they came back on Tuesday to redo those areas. Everything looks great. We chose bluestone for the look, although there were a couple of other options that were not quite as costly. We think it was worth going with the real thing.
