Jack and his team were great to work with! JK took our partially finished basement and turned it into a great living space. They added a playroom/bedroom, bathroom, and plenty of storage. Jack also wired the basement for surround sound. He was very competitive on price and stayed true to the estimated cost. They were flexible throughout the process as we made minor changes and added things. His guys were very polite and cleaned up after themselves every day. I would highly recommend Jack for anybody looking to remodel their home and we will definitely call him in the future.

Jacek submitted the least expensive bid for our work, including additional costs to cover the permit. His team started on time and finished about 1100 sq. ft. of space including a bathroom, fitness room (with floor and wall padding), a media room, a playroom and 3 closets in about 8 weeks. Like any project of this size, we ran into a few things as we got going -- like moving furnace ducts, dryer vents and such. Jacek worked with us on all of that to ensure we maximized our ceiling height and kept a clean look to the ceiling. As the project got underway, I added a few things: including custom floor tile in the shower (rather than the initial planned tray), additional framing to support 2 large screen TVs, in-wall cable runs for media devices, computer network wiring and some significant additional trim work. They accommodated all of it -- offering suggestions where it made sense. I really appreciated the way they worked with me while the job was underway. Everything turned out great! I wish Angie's List allowed me to post pictures! My wife and I plan a kitchen renovation in a year. Jacek will be first on my list when we're ready. We are that happy with his work.

I wouldn't use anyone else. Jack submitted the best bid of several that we received and I couldn't imagine the finished product looking any nicer. I have not been involved in a renovation that does not hit snags. This project was no exception. Upon consulting with Jack we agreed that we had to take down and re install the shower tile. Jack and his crew accepted it without hesitation and got right to work re-installing the tile. We couldn't be happier with Jack's professionalism and attention to detail. We have several other projects we plan to have Jack complete in the future.

After any project with a service provider, I think it is good to ask if you would recommend the company to a friend or family member. Jack and his team of guys did a fantastic job for us, and I would recommend him to a neighbor, friend, or family member without hesitation. Rather than reiterate all the same comments other reviews have about how great things went, I will discuss the process as I think that is what most Angie?s list members want to know. Project My 1950?s built house is 1200 square feet, with a full basement. We wanted to finish our basement so that our living space would be nearly doubled. Our plan included adding a bedroom with an egress escape window, a bathroom with shower, and TV room. At our initial meeting, Jack provided excellent feedback how to make the space work better. Payments Rather than paying 50% or more of the project cost up front, I paid a 10% deposit and then subsequent payments as the project phases completed. Once the framing completed, I wrote a check. Drywall completed, I wrote another check. The process continued until final inspection. This did require more checks to be written, however if the project started to go bad I could cut my losses and end the contract. Fortunately none of the horror stories you see on HGTV occurred, and the project was completed beyond our satisfaction. We purchased the finish items. Rather than Jack trying to go find all the bathroom fixtures, tile, doorknobs that made my wife happy, he suggested that we buy our own finish items. This was not because we are tremendously difficult to please, it so we had exactly what we wanted installed. Jack took care of all the framing and rough construction materials; we took care of the finish items. Daily Review Jack most days came to check on the team?s progress and inspect their work to keep things pushing along. Framing was all square, plumb and level. I verified his myself. There was significant plumbing and electrical work that took place and the men?s? workmanship was fantastic. Issues A couple of items we had on the drawing didn't work out as expected. Those problems were immediately changed with no issue at all. Workers The workers were all foreigners; however there was almost always 1 person on the crew that spoke English proficiently. If not, Jack was only a phone call or text message away to deal with a concern. Final Comments The project has been complete for a couple of months now, which is the real test. Everything is holding up and still working great. We were extremely happy with our experience.

Getting our basement finished has been a longtime goal of ours so hiring the right company was very important to us. We had several other companies come and give us estimates but we never felt as good and as confident about any of them until we met Jack. He supplied us with one estimate to finish our basement completely with an additional estimate to add a full bathroom. His estimates were very competitive and we didn't hesitate to sign and get started. Ralph & Paul started on time every morning and kept their work space very clean and organized upon completion every evening. They were extremely friendly and worked diligently. They also were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The communication between Jack & us, Jack & his crew, and his crew & us were all outstanding. The job was completed on time ( 6 weeks) and the estimate held true. We highly recommend Jack and his crew and we feel very fortunate to have found him through Angie's list. We could not be happier!

Jack and his team were absolutely awesome. They began work the second week of March and construction lasted about 9 weeks. Jack was very personable, patient and willing to take the time necessary to fully understand our vision for the basement area. Prior to JK beginning construction we had the basement waterproofed and a new concrete floor installed. Because there was very little demo work to be done, Jack?s team reported to our home promptly on day one of construction and immediately began framing out the spaces in the basement. They worked from about 8:30am to 4pm every day. The team was led by Paul a hardworking and talented young man who served as the foreman on the job. Paul was personable and was willing to address any questions we had regarding construction and his creativity was especially useful when we ran into minor issues. There wasn?t much that Paul didn?t do as he was involved with all aspects of the job. After the framing was done, the team began running the electrical and plumbing to the new spaces as well as modifying the duct work in the basement. The team was professional, efficient, and the work was of high quality. We were very impressed not only with the pacing of the job but the quality of the work. Every week or so Jack would visit the site to check on progress and to ensure that we were satisfied. We are very impressed with the work of Jack and his team. We have had several tradesmen in our home since the basement was completed and they all comment on the great job that Jack and his team did. We are EXTREMELY satisfied with the finished product. I would recommend anyone seeking to remodel their basement to hire JK Complete Remodel and Construction. Over the course of the job they proved to us that their capacity goes well beyond basements. We will absolutely be hiring them again for our next construction project!

Very happy with service. Jack was very responsive and quick to answer and questions or address any issues (all of which were minor). Jack was very flexible and patient as we had some minor additions to scope of the project halfway through. His team was prompt and made an effort to minimize disruption (dirt, noise, etc.) as we were living in the home throughout the project. Would recommend Jack's services and would absolutely use him in the future.

Worker and boss were extremely polite and did a great job. They completely cleaned up afterwards and even did a little side job for me at no charge.

Jack and his team worked on our basement for approximately 4 weeks. He quoted us the cost and timeline and stuck to his word exactly. Someone from his team arrived promptly each day at 8am and worked all day till about 5 or 6pm. They even worked Saturdays to stay on schedule. His team kept the house and their materials very organized and I never felt like there was a mess. They were very professional and Jack was very responsive when we had questions or needed suggestions. Their work was very nice and I didn't find any issues with the construction. I would highly recommend J K Complete Remodeling and will probably have them back in the future to do more work on my house.

In my 14 years of building ownership and many rehab projects big and small, I was impressed with JK's professionalism and commitment to the project. JK's people showed up and did a GREAT job every day. Jack and his team delivered on time and on budget with a detailed line item bid that allowed for clarity and flexibility. Jack completed the entire gut rehab of an 1888 two-flat to a single family home. It was a job well done!

Excellent!!! Jack and his team is outstanding and the quality of the work is second to none. I had my 1600 sq ft. basement fully remodeled with a full kitchen, two bathrooms, gym, family room, bedroom and a custom wine cellar. The team was professional and punctual everyday and Jack was willing to work with us as we made minor adjustments along the way. I am VERY pleased with the finished product and I would definitely use this company again for future work.

Even before Jack's team started their work, he was able to offer suggestions about the layout and materials, along with good ideas for the best options for the completion of the work. After comparing other provider estimates and layout plans for the area, we found JK's offerings to be the best choice for us. Jack worked quickly with our village to obtain permits and get approval for the project. Work started as scheduled, with an estimate of about 5 weeks to completion. We scheduled meetings as needed to resolve questions and choices as we went along. Jack documented changes that we asked for, updated the prices quoted, and reassigned his craftsmen as needed. We supplemented Jack?s work with other providers for the spray foam insulation and the fireplace installation, which meant that Jack had to factor those tradesmen into the schedule. Brief interruptions in the flow occurred, but the crew maintained a steady work pace. Partial payments were made as each phase of the construction was completed, so we were always apprised of the job?s progress and knew what to expect next. All Jack?s crew members were hard working and responsible, taking care to keep the workplace in order and protect the few pieces of furniture that needed to remain while the work was done. They arrived on time and sometimes stayed longer than scheduled to make sure that jobs were completed on time. Jack was readily available by cell phone when we had questions or needed an update on material deliveries. We?ve had many compliments on the work that was done and the resulting comfortable family space we now enjoy. We won?t hesitate to call Jack and his skilled crew again if we need any work done in our home (and, of course, all our friends have his phone number too).

I found Jack and his crew to be very professional and easy to work with. The crew showed up punctually and there was always someone on the job I could ask questions or get info from. They started 2 days ahead of schedule and finished right when they projected to be done. As a woman with very little understanding of construction I especially appreciated that Jack was always patient and thorough in explaining options or answering questions. He was never condescending, and I never felt nickle and dimed. If the original proposal changed for any reason, it was always mutually agreed upon. We added/changed some things as we went along, but these "upgrades" were our choice (and a good reminder to just plan on 10% extra budget!). He was also flexible and generous in many ways. For example, I choose cement tiles for our bathroom and they take much longer to lay and are fussy (you have to dip each one in water first). Occasionally I would need to wait a day or two to hear back from Jack, but generally he was very responsive. And those times I didn't hear back same day the question was not urgent. Overall, I always knew who to ask what and how to get the information I needed. Any small issues we encountered were quickly resolved. For example, we ended up with a quite a bit of extra tile for one room, more than we should have had left over. Jack and I split the cost. Issues and problems come up on any job, but he was easy to work with to resolve them. I hope to use JK again for a master bathroom. I was really happy with how this project went.

Jack was very professional from the start. He was very open to our feedback in the overall design. His team was generally very prompt to leave and end during normal business hours. We did have some very minor issues and Jack quickly resolved them. We are very happy with the craftsmanship and have received many compliments on the remodel

Jack's workers were always on time, worked steadily, and cleaned up each day. The project went smoothly, all our questions were answered promptly and the project was finished on time. It took approximately 6 weeks. We are very satisfied with the new basement space!

The work started on time and the crew was here every day at 8am until the work was completed. Drop clothes were put down to protect the stairs and the carpet in the bedroom, they also covered all furniture in the bedroom with plastic. I had a problem with my vanity and had to reorder it which delayed the project 4 weeks but Jack was able to work with my schedule and get the job completed. Thanks Jack, Ralph and John for a Job well done.
