Very well. I really liked and trusted Jack. I was afraid the job might be too small but Jack said no problem. They did a great job and Jack was a pleasure to work with. For these reasons, I will consider him for all of our larger future remodeling projects, of which there are many.

Jack was amazing. The difference wasn't necessarily the work that Jack did (I presume many contractors could get the work done), but the manner in which he did it. Jack was EXTREMELY responsive, always calling me back the same day and answering all of my questions. He also did something that no other contractor would do - he bought all of the fixtures, cabinets etc., instead of me having to do it. It is a rental apartment, so I didn't want to spend my free time shopping for materials. Jack did everything and didn't charge me extra. To me, that is the whole point - if I could do this stuff myself I would. But I can't, so when I hire someone I expect them to do the work for me! Most of all, I REALLY trusted Jack. He was always up front and honest with me and gave great advice, knowing that my goal was to make the place look nice, but not like the Taj Mahal. And any time we deviated from the quote (i.e. he needed to spend a bit more because a problem arose), he always called me first to get my approval. He took all of the uncertainty out of this project and I trusted him to do everything and to do it right. So, it's nice to have a contractor now. I will never use another contractor and I will recommend Jack to all of my friends and family.

It went along outstanding, the two men sent to do the work were very professional. They worked hard and fast for the entire time they were here. I did not think they would be able to complete the work in the time frame quoted, but they did. The quality is outstanding and everybody that has seen the results are amazed. We have already recommended him to one of our neighbors.

This shower remodel went well because Mr. Kowalczyk (Mr. K) was willing to work with me in a collaborative and cooperative manner. For example, he went along with my choice of shower pan and grout sealer. After the shower stall was complete, except for the shower door, he came back a week later and applied a second sealer coat at my request. The frameless shower door was installed by another contractor because Mr. K stated that he did not do frameless installations. This worked out well for both of us; I got exactly the shower door I wanted, he had less labor to provide.

Starting with the very first phone call, Jacek answered just about every time. The times he didn't answer, he called back, usually within 5-10 minutes, but never more than a few hours. He and his crew were extremely friendly, very polite and respectful. It was a good size project and I can honestly say there weren't any major issues at all and the issues we ran into were very trivial and quickly corrected. After all of my experiences and all of the stories I have heard from friends and relatives about their remodel jobs, I can't believe the luck I had with JK Complete Remodeling.

What a pleasant remodeling experience!! After dealing with sub par tradesmen, it was such a pleasure to work with Jack. The first positive was that he was significantly less expensive than the other quotes that I obtained. He was always punctual, explained in detail what was going to be done, provided solutions to unexpected problems that arose, and was very flexible with my schedule. All of the above work was completed in 2 weeks time, which was unbelievable. The quality of work was excellent, the workers were polite, neat, and respectful to my home and myself. I was so impressed with the experience that I already am lining up additional jobs for later in the year. It's not often that I can endorse someone 100%, but I can do so with Jack.

We had a very good experience overall with JK Construction. Jack is very responsive and always made himself available. The supplier of our cabinets (not JK Construction) failed to send an important piece of cosmetic trim, which delayed the completion of the bathroom. Jack came back as soon as that piece arrived to finish the job. He also promptly attended to small unexpected problems that arise with any construction job. We will be happy to work with JK Construction again in the future.

Jacek and his team were excellent to work with. To start, I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but Jacek gave excellent recommendations, including where to put the closets, how to setup the lighting zones, the number of lights we needed, and the proper types of materials to be used. As the work progressed, I requested new things, such as two new separate shelving units that weren't part of the original estimate. Jacek and his team were able to build those in seamlessly. And anytime I had questions, or wanted something changed, Jacek always took care of it. He never pushed back and said 'no'. He just got it done and done right. We will definitely be using him again for future projects. Below are some pics of our basement. I just wish Angie's List let us post more than 4.

Jack insulated and installed drywall in my unfinished garage. They also installed baseboasrds and casing around the windows. They did an excellent job and removed all debris.

They removed old drywall, install new drywall and paint ceiling. I called Jack to ask him for estimate, he came at same day and provided me estimate the next day. He sent people to work on the project in two days. They did very good job to install new drywall and paint ceiling. People were on time and did what I asked for. They were very patient and professional. When I told Jack about ceiling that doesn't look as good as I hope, he sent people right away to fix it. I am very happy with what they did.

The project went very well. I had three proposals for this project, and Jack's proposal came in at the same price as one of the other proposals (another was $2k higher). I chose Jack because of the price and his reviews on Angie's list. The project proposal had a very detailed breakdown of what would or wouldn't be covered in the project. Jack was always very responsive. He started when he said he would and he was done by the time that he said he'd be done. I was impressed by how quickly they did the work, and was very pleased with the final project.

Work was performed promptly and properly. Jacek explained what he was going to do and when, and when there were difficulties we were prepared for them. When additional work was needed, he responded promptly and the job was done well. Only problem with quality of work was with a difficult moulding problem in our living room which he had told us might not be able to be solved in exactly the way we would have liked. Overall Jacek did a fine job, and we would hire him unquestionably for future work.

Overall our experience with Jack (Jacek) was very good. Jack was very professional and honest with us throughout the entire job which lasted about four weeks. We never had any trouble getting in touch with Jack if we had any questions or comments. If he or any of his workers had any questions about what should be done or where something should be, he always made sure to double check with us before doing it. The basement bathroom had been "remodeled" by the previous owners and after doing the demo in the bathroom we discovered that they had cut several corners with the plumbing (no vent, no p-trap under shower, no exhaust fan). This required digging up the concrete floor and completely redoing all the plumbing in the bathroom and connecting into the vent stack. None of this major work was called out in the original contract, but Jack was able to do it for a very reasonable price and still stay within the original schedule. We are so pleased with our new basement and bathroom. I would definitely call Jack again. He treated us with respect and honesty and his price was fair. We received other quotes that were much more expensive (2X) and other quotes that were cheaper. Some of the cheaper quotes also estimated the project would only take two weeks which made us question the quality of the work in such a short time. In the end we chose Jack because we felt that he was being honest with regards to time and cost.

Jacek and his crew did an excellent job with our project. We have used a number of contractors and Jacek stands out for his willingness and ability to work with us to achieve the results we wanted. From the time of the estimate to completion of the punchlist, Jacek was always responsive to our requests and willing to do whatever was needed to accomplish the desired outcome, even if it meant extra effort on their part or was due to circumstances outside their control (for example, recaulking our upstairs bathtub when we discovered it was leaking into the basement bathroom that they were remodeling, and running out at the last minute to buy the right kind of hinges when the type we provided didn't fit). That was very refreshing and made the remodeling process as pleasant as it could be. Jacek and his crew worked hard and creatively to solve a number of unique problems, such as leveling an uneven floor, installing a new door and frame in an uneven opening, and building custom closet doors for a narrow space. In terms of scheduling, Jacek was able to be both flexible when we had changes in our schedule (for example, due to repeated delays in tile delivery) and timely when we let him know we were ready. His crew showed up on time, worked a full day and continued to come until they had done as much as possible during each phase of the project. In terms of price, Jacek's proposal was very competitive and he accommodated several changes in the work without requesting any adjustment to the price. For two significant changes to the scope of work, he let us know in advance about additional fees and proposed very reasonable amounts. Overall, we are very happy with our new bathroom and would definitely use JK Construction again if we have future renovation needs.

They did my entire basement colour level. I have a fireplace down there, and they also did the family room. They put the cabinetry that I purchased, and also the sink. He put up the drywall, and taped it. He also laid the tiles that I had purchased. My overall experience with them was good.

Experience was great. Jack came in at the lower end of all the estimates we got and began work a few days after we signed the contract. He and his crew worked quickly and were very professional. We now have a new living room, playroom, 4th bedroom and bathroom where there used to be a concrete slab.

Jacek and his crew did all that work in three days of 10-hour days. He was prompt and polite when he came to give me an estimate and carefully wrote out exactly what he was going to do. The guys showed up on time and worked hard all day. Jacek bought nicer baseboard than I had had and offered suggestions for a replacement back door. When the job was complete, he offered to return if I found something that wasn't perfect or needed adjusting, however, I have no complaints at all. The crew cleaned up completely even rehung the speakers for my surround-sound system and were careful not to let my cats out.

The job went well from start to finish. Jack was very responsive after our first communication and came to the house to look at our basement. His responsiveness was consistent throughout the entire project, which was important to us. He was open to our thoughts and requests and made recommendations as we planned our project. After agreeing to a price on a Saturday, Jack and his team were ready to start the next Wednesday. Everything went according to the schedule that he provided and was on time. The whole project only took 4-5 weeks which exceeded our expectations. All of the workers that Jack brought did a nice job. They were friendly and respectful to us and our home. Overall, we are very happy with our project and are enjoying our new basement.

This is the third remodeling job Jack has done for me this year. The first one was a complete rebuilding of a small bathroom to meet ADA standards (Americans with Disabilities Act). The second job was to replace a 12-foot; U shaped Formica counter top with a new one and install a new stainless steel sink and faucet. In all three jobs, Jack was wonderful. He answers his phone all the time. He came out fast to give an estimate. He started the work fast, and stayed away when we were seeing customers. He worked around our schedule. And he finishes fast and neat. His price is low. ($900 less than the other quote I got.) He sticks to his price. There are no extra fees even when he hits a problem that needs more work than he estimated. If you need a little trim, or an outlet, or a bit of paint that you didn t ask for, he just does it. No discussions and no charge. The work is high quality. My tenant who needed the ADA bathroom is extremely picky regarding quality. She had a very minor concern after the job was done. (A door rubbed against the carpeting, a little.) Jack came right back, trimmed the door and re hung it. My tenant is so impressed she is hiring Jack to work on her home. A professional who installs tile, came to my office for another job recently. He looked at the obviously new tile and said: Wow! The guy who installed this tile really did a great job. Jack is the best contractor I ve ever found. Period.

The work went very well, from the estimate, which came in several thousand dollars less than the home improvement store, to the tearing down of the walls, replacing greenboard, installing the shower components and door, and repainting where the new wall met old with the EXACT color match so no one can tell where the original wall ended and the new one began.

I initially considered JK Complete Remodeling for my project back in February but hired another contractor to perform the work. After months of being toyed with, I discovered my contractor had filed for bankruptcy and stole my deposit! I called Jack back and we hired him on the spot. He was sympathetic to our situation and agreed to a small deposit once his crews started working. This gave me peace of mind and was especially considerate of Jack as the extra time allowed us to recoup the lost deposit money. Work started as discussed, and within six weeks of signing a contact, our basement was complete! His crews came every day and worked hard until they were finished. We lost a couple of days of productivity due to my heating subcontractor and Jack never complained. Throughout the project, Jack was always available by telephone or in person to answer several questions I had. He was very attentive and most of all, cooperative. I was very impressed with his layout skills (other contractors made things too complicated). I feel Jack's greatest asset is his dedication to customer service, which exceeded our expectations. For example, I mistakenly purchased the wrong shower door size and Jack helped me return it on his own time on a Saturday. Also, I lost my telephone service one evening and once I informed Jack, he quickly opened up the drywall to see if it was his responsibility. As it turns out, it was a faulty splitter upstairs totally unrelated to his work. He did not even seek compensation for this extra work. Upon the final walk-through, my wife and I pointed out a few areas we felt could use some touch-up and Jack and his crews worked quickly to resolve them. Our basement is beautiful and we have received many compliments from friends and relatives. I would not hesitate to recommend Jack and his company. JK Complete Remodeling is an exceptional contractor and I will use them on future projects in my home.

Unlike most contractors to whom I have been exposed, JK was very prompt and stayed on their time line through the entire 3-week process.

We wanted an estimate for the work that needs to be done and were told that we would be given an estimate before we decided if we wanted the work done or not. Now they refuse to take the job if we decided to go ahead with them and don't want to give us an estimate. We now have to start looking again for another contractor. They could have told us at the beginning that they did not the job, after they came over and looked at the things that needs work.

Jack had done such a great job with the remodel of a powder room to full bath in my new home I asked if he could complete this work in my old home. The job was completed in about 5 days. The same crew was used (who were very pleasant to work with).

Jack responded to my call the same day I initiated contact; he was able to provide an estimate within 24 hours. I had about 4 weeks lead time so I could easily be placed on his schedule. The job started on time and was only 5 days late (no fault of Jack's crew--supplies were delayed; his crew even worked Saturday to help make up some time). Jack was very responsive to any questions I had; his crew were very pleasant to work with. They were efficient, organized and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. In fact, I did have them complete a smaller job at my first home.
