They removed all of the damaged material. They came in and put up new drywall. They installed new base boards. They ripped out carpeting and installed ceramic tile. The tile work was amazing! They were excellent! Their pricing turned out to be a little higher, but the work was just excellent! It was worth the price. You definitely pay for what you get. The work was meticulous.

The doors look amazing. True craftsmanship. And for the price and quick work, wow!

This is my second gig with JK in the last month. Both went quite well.

They were very good. They took a little longer than anticipated because they were trying to do a good job. I really appreciated that. They were very pleasant to talk to and to do business with.

Jack's team tore down everything to the studs, put up new drywall, tile, replaced the lighting, fan, vanity, toilet, mirror, and added a shower, shower head, shower door etc. The job was done with a minimal impact on our daily lives. The result is a quality job, looks great and added an alternative to hiking up the steep stairs.. ** I was very pleased with the results, and have decided to have Jack gut (and remodel) the other bathrooms as well. I'll post those results as those jobs are completed..

Beginning with the quote, Jack was very accomodating to my schedule. He was willing to meet me the next morning and we received the quote the following day. Upon agreeing to the price, we scheduled the work for 2 weeks out, so we could locate tile and Jack could have his preferred "tile man" perform the work. The day before the work was to begin, Jack mentioned his guy was running behind on a job and asked if we could push back 3 days; this was not an issue with us. Demo day arrived and his worker arrived on time, setup appropriate carpet protection for where he would be walking throughought the day and got to work. After day 1, demo was complete; the shower was gutted down to the studs with the old tile bagged and set out for trash in the alley. The rest of the week was spent putting the shower back together piece by piece. Jack and his worker were always on time and willing to answer any questions or modifications I challenged them with. Overall, the end project was better than we could have asked for; the shower looks fantastic. JK did an excellent job on our shower and we will be using them for additional projects in our house.

Jack and his crew are great. The prices are totally reasonable, he is very responsive and responsible. It was a pleasure working with him and I was always satisfied with the results. I would use him again for these types of jobs and would also use him for bigger remodeling jobs based on the experiences that friends have had.

Jack is an example of what all contractors should strive to acheive. He was friendly and helpful during the quote phase and was happy to give us as many options as we wanted to consider. During the job, he was always available to answer questions and we never had any problem reaching him quickly. Although the work was somewhat costly, his price was competitive and fair, and the job was done perfectly. The work was done by Paul who is an excellent craftsman. Paul was punctual, neat, friendly and we enjoyed having him in our home. We was extremely tidy and respected our house. He cleaned the jobsite each night, and when he was done, he did not leave a trace he had been there (except for the new bathroom of course). What impressed us most was his attention to detail. There was not a single part of the job that was not done perfectly. Again, it was an overall great experience and I would be glad to recommend Jack to anyone I know.

We were very pleased with work this company did earlier and asked them to return and paint the master bedroom. On Monday, Jack brought Bogie along and introduced us and helped him to protect the worksite. Bogie worked steadily and stripped the wallpaper. He washed the walls and very thoroughly prepared them for painting. He painted the ceiling and then primed the walls, before painting the darker of the 2 colours we had chosen for the bedroom. Once the master bedroom was completed , he patched and sanded the bathroom ceiling before painting it. Bogie was outstanding . His preparation was the very best and the resulting paint job was excellent.

Jack came out with one of his workers and got everything set up. The worker was very nice and knowledgeable. They did the work requested as well as some simple touch-ups around the work area. The area was then painted to look brand new.

Jack promptly came by and estimated the work, and they started the next week. His crews were polite and courteous and cleaned up well. They did professional work especially in the electrical area where some extra work was involved. Jack was responsive and flexible always getting back to me promptly and understanding any concerns I had. He is very professional and easy to work with. The star of the job was Bogie who made the place shine. His work on the drywall, paint, stairway, doors, woodwork, trim and finishing made everything look great. He was a pleasure to have around. Overall, JK Complete Remodeling does great work at a fair price and I would always ask them to bid on any future job.

We invited 3 companies to give estimates in late August for a shower room remodel. JK Remodeling's (Jack's) quote came in the middle. We selected jack because of his reference record and the good suggestions and general impression he made during his initial visit. We purchased the necessary items and had everything ready to go for the final agreed start date. Before starting the job Paul did a good job in isolating the work area and protecting the stair carpet.. He worked solidly each day beginning at 8am and cleaning up the job site before he left at 5pm for the day. Paul interfaced well with us as the job progressed, providing excellent suggestions on the available choices. The resulting shower room is a beauty, a job well executed. In addition, we asked Jack to revive the adjacent vanity area, repairing the ceiling, painting and installing mirror and sconces. He also did a nice job in fitting new shelves and painting the closets We were delighted with the complete job and have invited Jack back to again work his magic by painting the adjoining bedroom.

I would recommend them to anybody.

I called for an estimate on installing hardwood on 1st floor of townhouse. They arrived, looked it over....... They said they'd call back with estimate. They never called back.

We had a wonderful experience. Jacek was very responsive and he spent a lot of time with us going over several areas of our house where we wanted quotes on different projects. He was very patient and always polite. Once we decided on a project, we agreed on a price, date and time. The crew of two were right on time. I felt comfortable with them in my home, enough so that I ran some errands while they were working.

Jack was extremely responsive and performed all work when promised. The estimates he provided for time to complete the job and when he would start were right on. His crew was very clean, protecting our carpeting and flooring in the walkways. They worked hard every day from 8-5 and cleaned up after themselves every evening. We would not even consider hiring a different contractor after our superb experience with Jacek.

We will never use a different contractor again. We had a main bathroom totally remodeled, then a spare bedroom made into an attached spa bathroom with a giant glass shower and whirlpool tub. The work Jack's company did was spectacular. We were most impressed by only having to leave a voice mail once or twice...Jack ANSWERS his phone. His men were there bright and early every day, stayed until after 5:00, and cleaned up each day so that we weren't walking through a construction zone. Beautifully detailed and meticulous work performed, plus design help. Finished right on time, and even after the final payment was made, we had one or two tweaks needed, and Jack was responsive and came right away to fix things. Very high quality work at an excellent price.

This was the second job for which we hired Jacek and his crew. Again, this was this a worry-free and pleasant experience. From start to finish Jacek (Jack) was very responsive, he showed up to make the estimate on time, had the quote back to me in the expected time frame, started the job on time ( plus he called the day before, to confirm). We had a lot of little details with this project and Jacek and his crew were flexible in working with us to achieve the desired effect. The guys showed up promptly each day, and worked the entire day. They let us know when they would be returning next, and which supplies would be needed the following day. (We supplied all materials except "construction materials" like dur-rock, nails, etc.). They were very tidy too, cleaning up each day, leaving things in broom-clean condition. Another great job, we got exactly the look we were hoping to achieve, in under two weeks.

He asked for half of the money up front and I felt uneasy about paying that much before any work was done. Customers should not have to pay this much.

The job went remarkably well. We are currently living in a different state but it was very easy to work with Jack long distance. He was very responsive and extremely flexible with us. We wanted to have the work done prior to my next trip home and he was able to squeeze us in. Jack was willing to drive up and meet my mother between jobs to get a key to the house, and the work was completed in a week--we couldn't believe how quickly they worked. My mother-in-law stopped in to the house after the first day's work and found that the guys had put up plastic to keep the dust down and managed to keep everything neat and organized. They didn't have any idea that anyone would be stopping by, that must just be the way they do things. We were very satisfied and would recommend JK Remodeling wholeheartedly.

Jack was very easy to work with and his crew was very professional. The only problem I had related to the Village restrictions on the installation of the shower and the requirement to install an overhead sewer system. Only the Village approved plumper could perform this work, which resulted in a two month delay on completing the basement remodeling. Jack was very patient and got as much of the project completed as he could and then had to wait on overhead system being completed. As soon as that was accomplished, Jack had his crew back on the project. They worked long days and even weekends to get it finished. All the work was still completed professionally. Jack was very responsive to all concerns and addressed all issues the came up.

It went very well. Arrived on time and when scheduled. Kept work area relatively clean during construction and were pleasant to have in the house.

Jack is truly incredible- not only his work but also his work ethic and his attention to detail and customer service. He has worked on many projects for us- including finishing our basement. We were so impressed with his past work that we had him bid out the major kitchen project. Not only was his bid the lowest, but he also had a much shorter timeframe for completion. All the other bids estimated 10 weeks to complete and his crew did it in 5 weeks. A HUGE bonus. And all the workers who came to the house were very considerate of our space, worked hard, and cleaned up at the end of each day. So many neighbors stopped by during the process to check out the progress- everyone commented on what great work they were doing and how clean they kept it and how they couldn't believe how quickly it was being done (many have done similar projects and they all took double the amount of time). Our house has subsequently gone on the market and my realtor finally had to ask for our contractors information because everyone who comes into the house marvels at the work he has done (basement, kitchen, master bath) and has asked for his name. I would recommend JK Construction to anyone!

Very well. I really liked and trusted Jack. I was afraid the job might be too small but Jack said no problem. They did a great job and Jack was a pleasure to work with. For these reasons, I will consider him for all of our larger future remodeling projects, of which there are many.
