They did an amazing tile, paint and installation job. Yes, it was awhile ago but I'm calling them back to do our other bathroom soon. It still has a vintage look, but no more ugly multi-color chipped tile and flooring. The installation of subway tile around the whole bathroom was perfectly done. So happy every time I look in there.
Description of Work: Gutted and remodeled our vintage bathroom.
BRIEFLY, THE MEN JACK SENT HERE TO WORK (I RARELY SAW JACK) SHOWED UP TO BEGIN DEMO. ONCE THAT WAS COMPLETED THERE SEEMED TO BE A BIT OF CONFUSION AS TO WHAT EXACTLY NEEDED TO BE DONE. I SPEAK NO POLISH SO COMMUNICATIONS WERE TOUGH BUT THEY GOT JACK ON THE PHONE AND HE WALKED THEM THROUGH IT VIA WIRELESS WHICH I WISH HE WOULD HAVE DONE IN PERSON. OTHER THAN THAT HIS PEOPLE WHERE THERE EVERY DAY. EACH DAY NICE PROGRESS WAY MADE. JACK'S PEOPLE WHERE VERY MUCH NOSE TO THE GRIND STONE. IF THERE WAS SOME LITTLE COSMETIC THING THAT I THOUGHT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED IT WAS ADDRESSED TOOT SUITE. THEY CLEANED UP NICELY WHEN FINISHED AND I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE JOB AND ACTUALLY JACK AND I HAVE ANOTHER PROJECT GOING ALREADY. WELL DONE J K COMPLETE REMODELING.
Description of Work: BASICALLY GUTTED THE LAUNDRY ROOM, KIND OF REDESIGNED THE LAY OUT THEN SCOOP TO NUTS REMODELING. A LARGE PART OF THE JOB WAS REMOVING OLD FLOORING TILE AND RE-LAY LARGE CERAMIC TILES BOTH DOWN THE HALL RUNNING INTO THE LR.
Jack and his crew were great. We received a competitive, detailed estimate, and the work started and finished reasonably close to the timeline estimated. Throughout the process, the crew was courteous an respectful of our nanny and children who were home all day, cleaning up after themselves each day. The couple of minor issues that inevitably arise in these rehabs were addressed promptly once I brought them to Jack's attention, which is the ultimate show of professionalism. Jack was also flexible with a few small design/work changes and didn't nickel and dime us for them which I very much appreciated. Things were going so well with the bathrooms that I asked Jack to bid on installing some wainscoting for a hallway and chair rails in the dining room, and also on installing some wood floors in a foyer. We used a different guy for the floors, but did use Jack's carpenter for the wainscot and rails. The guy was totally old school and obviously knew what he was doing, cutting the boards on site and installing them all in one day. He was very proud, and made sure to point out his quality craftsmanship. We get tons of compliments on the wainscot, which an appraiser recently thought was original to our 85 yr-old house! We have another bath that needs updating, and J &K will be the first call to bid.
Description of Work: 1) Gut remodel of upstairs full bathroom: Demo to studs of existing bathroom and removal of all debris. Provided and installed new drywall/cement board. Plumbing generally stayed in place, but they updated shower and tub connections with copper. Poured new concrete shower floor with liner. Installed all materials that I bought including wall and floor tile, granite shower threshold and window sill, tub, toilet, vanity, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, lights and exhaust fan including venting through attic. Primed walls and painted ceiling. Basically reconstructed the entire bathroom except installing shower glass and doing the finish painting. 2) Rehab of basement half-bath including some new plumbing work. 3) Installation of wainscot and chair rail in living area and dining room.

Did not us. Never returned my intial phone calls
Description of Work: Never returned my phone calls
Jack and his crew were great to work with, cooperative and always accommodating. As with all construction projects problems arose through the process. At each point Jack quickly addressed the issue and took whatever corrective action was required. They worked very quickly and efficiently and were very organized, neat and respectful. Our fireplace was totally outdated. They tore down the old facing and framing and re-framed and built a new mantel and it looks great. They were on budget and ahead of schedule. I would gladly use Jack and his crew again.
Description of Work: First of all I would like to apologize to Jack for the tardiness of this review. Jack and his crew removed the drop ceiling in our family room and replaced it with drywall, completely redid the electrical with new canned lighting, outlets and dimmer switches. Our fireplace was resurfaced and redesigned. They removed old carpeting and installed new hardwood floor and stairs. Re-framed all our windows and base boards and installed two new doors as well as painted top to bottom.
I was very pleased with the whole experience. The various people who did the different jobs were professional, neat, courteous. The basement looks even better than I had envisioned when this project began.
Description of Work: J K Remodeling did a complete remodeling job on my laundry room/tool room/boiler room. This involved demolition of old counters and shelves, new wall construction, dry wall (laundry/tool room and storage closet) and scraping and repainting of brick walls (boiler room). The dryer vent was placed through the brick wall and a new window put in where the dryer vent used to be located. J K also put dry wall and recessed lighting into the ceilings of two finished rooms in the basement.
This is the second time we have used JK Complete Remodeling & Construction. We initially found Jack's team through Angie's List. We were so impressed with the work Jack's team did finishing our basement (see earlier review) that we called them for help with our first floor. What we appreciate most about Jack's team is their attention to detail and follow-through. Examples: * Fireplace - We wanted to build a fireplace, and we bought veneerstone for the project. Other than that, we had little idea what we wanted. Jack understood and showed us pictures of previous work his team had done. Ralph built a new wall for the tile, Michael laid the tile and stone, John and Ralph constructed a three-part mantel that matches the new crown molding that they installed, and Ralph installed a gas log set. The living room went from bare to outstanding in just a couple days. * Toilet, sink, and baseboards - After we bought new wood flooring, the flooring installers (another company) did not re-install our powder room sink and toilet. That other company also left the baseboards unpainted. Ralph not only reinstalled the toilet and sink, but he also caulked and made sure to touch up the wall paint around the sink before he considered the job done. No plumber would have done that! Then, he spent hours caulking and painting the baseboards until they looked brand new. The same attention to detail was shown in every aspect of their work. Jack's team showed up on time and is always pleasant, professional, and respectful. Every part of the project was done carefully, taking the time to do the job right. We really appreciated that the team did not rush. The workers would ask how certain things looked and update us on the status of each item and what would happen the next day. The work looks great, and Jack gave a 1-year warranty for his team's labor. The employees on this project were Michael (tile and stone), Ralph (gas/plumbing/painting), and John (carpentry). We highly recommend JK Complete Remodeling & Construction for your next project.
Description of Work: * constructed fireplace with hearth and mantel * installed and painted crown molding in living room, dining room * installed mosaic tile backsplash in kitchen * moved gas line in kitchen to fit new range * painted inside of kitchen cabinets * painted baseboards in first floor and upstairs hallway * re-installed powder room sink and toilet
We have used JK Complete Remodeling in the past and have had a great experience. Jack is very good at listening to what the job is and following through. We were not at the home when the repairs were done, but upon inspection the work was done as requested and of excellent quality. Jack's team does a great job and his prices are very fair.
Description of Work: Family room makeover: completely covered a paneled room with drywall, moved several electrical boxes, added new trim and painted room. Additional jobs performed: Removed, replaced, and painted several doors within home. Removed several doors and repaired door entrances to create room entrances without doors. Painted all doors and trim throughout entire upstairs of home. Replaced several drop ceiling tiles in basement of home.

We never got any farther than the initial visit for the estimate. There was no follow up with an estimate by the individual who came to my house. I also thought it odd that he did not want to provide a detailed estimate as this was no problem for the other contractors who submitted bids.
Description of Work: We had this company come out to provide us an estimate for a basement remodel. The man who came out told us he would call with an approximate price and only provide a detailed estimate if we went with them. I gave him a deadline of March 1, 2013. He never called back with an approximate price, never provided an estimate, and never bothered to call to tell us they weren't interested in the job. I never heard from him again after the initial meeting.

Response from J K Complete Remodeling & Construction Inc
I don't know this people and I never been in there house.
Very good and constant contact with Jak the owner. They came out to take a look at my basement, hear my design ideas and give suggestions and then quoted me a price with options. Date was scheduled for renovation. They arrived as scheduled for the basement tear down and made accommodations for us around Permaseal that was waterproofing our basement. The renovation of the basement and upstairs washroom took about two months as there was one or two guys working 5 days out of the week until completed. The renovation looked great. I am happy with the quality of work. Any minor changes or concerns were corrected very soon after I called. The staff was friendly and professional and Jak has always been responsive to my calls even now. I would definitely recommend this company if it fits into your price range and you have the time.
Description of Work: Complete basement redesign and renovation (old basement teardown, tile floors, drywall ceiling & walls, electrical wiring, , plumbing, installation of washroom fixtures, installation of laundry room fixtures, recessed lighting,, installed oak wood stairs, doors, painting, etc.)and upstairs bathroom renovation (floor and wall tile, drywall, install bathroom fixtures, painting, etc.).
Jack and his crew did an excellent job. The job took about four weeks. We were extremely pleased with the end result. Pricing was the most reasonable of the quotes that we received. We would definitely use Jack for other remodeling projects.
Description of Work: Remodeling of 1960’s basement including new framing, drywall, ceiling, lighting, electrical and flooring.
This was a great experience and I am very happy with the end result! Got four quotes, Jack?s was in the middle. Agreed on project, cost, timing. Jack provided contract ? thorough, transparent. Ralph was assigned to my project. He was professional and solutions-oriented. Crew arrived on time. Clarifying questions asked throughout the project ? ie crew would check with me along the way for decisions. Crew cleaned up every day. While any project can be disruptive, I felt the crew did a good job of keeping disruption to a minimum. All work looks great ? walls, trim, painting, built-in ? tile work was very well done. I felt there was a genuine focus on doing things right- high quality. A small example ? but I had asked for some trim work around a closet door. The team also patched/painted the closet and repaired some damaged trim inside the closet. Jack addressed unexpected situations and additional requests professionally. For example we had to change the location of the toilet and make some changes with the shower ? both were addressed in a way that I felt was fair and appropriate. Jack was responsive and easy to reach throughout the project.
Description of Work: Finished unfinished basement – approx 1300 square feet. Framing, insulation, drywall, painting, trim, built in book-case. I now have living space, bed room, full bath room and storage area.. Also had TV installed over fireplace in living room upstairs and trim added to closet.
Very well. I appreciated the work, the quality and working with the guys. I would certainly use them again. I had to leave early to go to a wedding, and I trusted them to complete the work and lock up. They did a wonderful job.
Description of Work: I had purchased two Angie's "deals". Patching up walls and replacing some rotted baseboard in the bathroom as well as cleaning and regrouting the bathroom.. The owner was very professional. He came out and gave me a complete estimate based on the work that I needed to have done. We agreed on the additional cost of materials. Communication was easy and thorough. If there were any changes he would call and give me an update. On the day of the work he and his helper arrived and worked well together. They did a nice job patching up holes, drying the patch well, sanding and applying a 2nd coat. The bathroom grout was cleaned well,, the moldy caulking was removed and replaced. He did a nice job cleaning the tile as well The owner went to. Home Depot to get the molding and did a wonderful job fitting, installing and caulking the replacement molding.
This project went better than we had even hoped it could. Jack was very responsive and very reasonable to deal with and he was very focused on delivering what we wanted in our basement. We started with only a very rough homemade drawing of what we were looking for, and he had very good suggestions that helped us get the type of living area, layout, and features we wanted in our basement. Everything came together just as we envisioned it. The work started on the date Jack originally said it would and finished a bit ahead of schedule. I was amazed at how much the crew got done every day and they were very, very nice to work with. Any time we had a change or wanted to add something they were very agreeable and made it happen. All of their work was good quality, from the framing, electrical, and plumbing, to the tiling, painting, and other finishing touches. From the bid through completion, Jack did not try to add unnecessary work or cost to the project. We would not hesitate to use JK Complete Remodeling again in the future and I highly recommend their work.

Upgraded ejector pump to handle sewage. Created 11-foot area for counter and cabinets with wiring and plumbing for refrigerator, microwave, under counter oven, dishwasher, sink, and under cabinet lighting. Vented microwave and bathroom fans to outside. Added recessed lighting throughout on multiple switches and dimmers. We contracted with JK Construction for basement remodeling. The owner, Jack, inspected the area and was very helpful in making suggestions regarding the job. He provided a cost estimate the same day. We were given a job completion estimate of 13 working days and it was actually completed in 10 working days. The workers were very professional and left the area clean every evening. Special care was given to not track dirt or debris into the upstairs area of the house. They made sure to discuss with us all parts of the installation prior to doing the work to make sure it was just as we wanted it. The finished job exceeded our expectations. Overall we were very pleased with all of the work that was done and we will be calling Jack again for other projects in our home.

I was so pleased with the way the wainscoting turned out and the process overall. Jack originally came out to see the dining room and give me an estimate. I explained what I wanted I showed him pictures of the look I wanted. When I received the quote, I felt the price was reasonable. The Friday before work was to be started, Jack called to let me know someone would be coming by on Saturday to drop off the materials they would need. On Saturday, Paul came and dropped off the wood and the saw. Even though he purchased it and picked it out, I was so happy when I saw it because it was the substantial size and shape I asked for. On the day the work was to be done, Paul and John showed up exactly on time, 8am. Paul reviewed what I wanted, he seemed to know exactly everything I had talked to Jack about. This may seem like a given, but I was impressed that he knew all the details without me having to review. I showed him the pictures and he was ready to go. When it came time to discuss the sizing of the panels, Paul told me the options and we talked through them. We came up with a plan and they executed it beautifully. The entire job took one day. They completely cleaned up when they were finished and I was just so amazed and pleased at what they did and how quickly. It's exactly what I wanted and it is beautiful. I didn't have them paint it because I have hired a separate painter to paint the rest of the house. I also had JK Complete Remodeling do a bathroom and other jobs for me which I will review separately. No surprise, they are beautiful too!

I love my new bathroom! Jack's team did an amazing job on my bathroom and laundry room and because I was so happy with their work, I added on additional small jobs along the way. The main review is for the bathroom though. Jack gave me the original estimate; the plan was to replace everything: tub, toilet, vanity, sink, mirror and all fixtures. The price was very reasonable. Jack came out to go over all the measurements with me and give me all the specifications I needed for ordering my materials. This made it very easy for me to make sure I didn't order something that wasn't right for the space. I then picked out and ordered everything I wanted and spent time making sure it all fit with the look I wanted. Once I received all my deliveries, I called Jack and he set up a day to start which we had already sort of planned at the beginning of the process. I knew the longest delivery time would be about 4 weeks, so that's what we planned on. The first day was demolition. The next couple days were installation and plumbing, then the tile, then the finishes. I can't say enough how beautiful the entire bathroom looks. The tile work is perfect. Michael did an amazing job and consulted me if he had any questions about design. Paul did such a great job with installing everything, and this may sound silly, but even the caulk looks so nice, mainly because it is clear caulk and virtually invisible. The walls were prepared completely beforehand and I think it makes a real difference then with the end product. I ordered the vanity from a big box store with added panels and molding so it could be customized to fit against the wall and Paul did a great job of cutting everything to size and working with the materials. It looks custom made for the space. The only hitch in the completion was my fault, as I forgot to call the wallpaperer to come out, so we had to wait a few days before it was all complete. But if that hadn't happened I know it would have all been done in the one week Jack had originally quoted. Every day the guys came early or on time. At the end of every day, they would completely clean up and then tell me the plan for the next day. If there was ever more than one way to do/place something, they would ask me how I wanted it first. They were so polite and pleasant to work with. I have no reservations recommending them or hiring them for my next project!
Description of Work: Complete remodel of a hall bathroom, drywall repair in a powder room and various other places in the house and installation of a slop sink in the laundry room that required some rerouting of plumbing.
I called about four contractors for estimates from Angie's list. That's how I came across J K Complete Remodeling. Jack came out right away to take measurements and see exactly what i wanted to do. He called me back a couple days later with his price, and all I could say is WOW, his price was better then everyone else by a a big margin!! I couldn't believe it. but after reading all the reviews, I decided to go with Jack and his company and I am very happy I Did!!! From Day one, Jack was prompt and professional!! When we signed the contract he had 7 pages of detail of exactly what he was going to do so there was no questions, later. I put an initial deposit down, and as he completed tasks, I would pay him, I believe it was like 5 installments, finish framing, i paid, finish plumbing-i paid, finish dry wall- I paid, and so and so on, until job was done. The crew came everyday on time about 8 am, they would just go through the basement window, so they never bothered you. They were done about 5pm and cleaned up everything at the end of the day. They were very flexible about making changes as the project went on. The workers were very detailed, organized, and clean. Jack wasn't there everyday, but would call and check in and ask how everything was going. Whenever i had a question he would always answer his phone or if he didn't he would call me back in a timely manner. Jack estimated the project about 4-5 weeks, they were done in 4 1/2, right on time. Good thing about Jack he works with you. I wanted to put the bathroom in, andother companies wanted a lot of money to do it, Jack just told me to buy all the materials, and he just charged me the labor and framing. For the beautiful bathroom i have down there, it cost me a third of the cost what other companies wanted. All my friends and neighbors who have seen the basement love the work that he has done. I am currently building a custom bar in the basement(jack does not do that, but if he did, i would for sure use him), but all the carpenters i had to come and give me an estimate on the bar comment on how good the work is! every corner, every wall, just an amazing job!! I am very happy i chose this company and I recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you Jack and all the workers you guys did an amazing job My wife and I could not be happier!!
Description of Work: We remodeled our unfinished basement. J K construction, framed out basement, put insulation and drywall, plumbing for our wet bar, all electrical work, put a full bath(stand up shower toilette tile on floor and walls), put laminate flooring down in a section of basement, painted all walls and ceilings. put 18 canned lights. light switches and dimmers, cable outlets, injector pit, wooden railing down stairs, basement about 1200 square feet.
Our overall experience with Jack and his team was a solid A from start to finish. Price - Jack's proposal was competitive with the other estimates we received. Where other contractors had included different ideas that we liked (e.g., double French doors to the bedroom instead of single), Jack had no problem matching what the other contractors had proposed at no extra cost.* Quality - So far, we have found the quality of the work to be superb, including in the details. Michael installed all the tile in our bathroom, and his attention to detail was really appreciated. Where we noticed a defect in some of the tiles, he quickly replaced them the same day. One small area for improvement would be for the team to use additional dropcloths on the first floor to protect the upstairs floors from dust as the team goes in and out. We provided our own. Responsiveness - Throughout the process, Jack was responsive, professional, and easygoing. During the project, he would stop by about every third day to check on how things were going and answer any questions we had. He was also available by phone and checked voice mails regularly. Punctuality - Jack was always on time for our appointments. Jack initially scheduled to start our project on October 24. We told him anytime earlier would be great; he was actually able to start on October 11. Once work started, his team never looked back. Work continued from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday and about 8 a.m. to 2 or 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Jack's drywall team worked from about 7 a.m. to 3 or 4 p.m. The project took 4.5 weeks, under Jack's estimate of 5-6 weeks. Professionalism - We appreciated the team's polite, professional attitude throughout this project. The basement was always left (relatively) clean at the end of the day. Music was kept at a respectful level. We felt comfortable leaving the house for errands if necessary. Among the workers on our project were John and David (framing), Frederico and team (drywall), Ralph (electrical), Michael (tile and bathroom work), Paul and Yanush (sp) (painting, millwork, and finishing work). There were others whose names we do not remember offhand but who were also great. We recommend all of them. We look forward to working with Jack and his team on our next project. *Fyi, not included in Jack's original proposal were (1) flooring, (2) practically everything in the bathroom (tile, grout, shower base, shower doors, bathroom light/fan, vanity, vanity light fixture, mirror, toilet, towel bars, etc.), (3) a backup sump pump, (4) all door hardware, (5) Decora light swithces, (6) closet in the bedroom, and (7) 4 extra lights in the main basement. This was similar to other contractors' proposals, and we were ok with buying these items ourselves.
Description of Work: We hired Jack and his team to finish our basement, including a full bathroom and bedroom. Our basement had some insulation and was roughed-in for a bathroom but was otherwise completely bare. Finishing included framing, additional insulation, drywall (including ceilings), HVAC, electrical and plumbing, millwork and painting.
The estimate Jack gave was the most competitive out of 5 that we obtained. We felt confident in the fact that Jack and his crew have remodeled a lot of basements. The work itself went well. Jack is very responsive and easy to work with. Job took about 4 weeks. No major or even minor snags. We're very happy with the finished product. A very good value.
Description of Work: Did a basic basement remodel creating a rec room and office plus a good size closet. Work included demolition, new windows, framing, dry wall, oak staircase, installation of laminate flooring, and painting. Installed electric baseboard heaters and tapped into existing central a/c system. We also had some recessed lighting installed in our kitchen and in our upstairs bathroom shower.
Jack arrived promptly for the quote and completely understood the scope of the project. His crew arrived on the scheduled date and time, again, very punctual. They were friendly and polite and kept the work area as clean and tidy as possible. They worked 6 days a week and finished right on schedule. Jack's estimates for the amount of tile we would need for the floor and the shower were spot on so we didn't have much waste at all. We were thrilled with the project from start to finish. Because the new tile and subfloor raised the overall height of the floor we had a minor issue with a sewer gas smell coming from the toilet. We called Jack and he had a worker out the very next morning to fix the issue and we have never smelled it again. You can tell that he takes pride in his work and reputation.
Description of Work: We updated our master bathroom by replacing the tub, shower/tub tile, flooring, toilet, light fixtures, vanity and sink. Jack's crew did all of the demolition, installation, painting and finishing. We ordered all of the tile and fixtures and had them ready to go in time for the installation. They also built some storage shelves and created a new wall.

First off this is the first time I ever had work like this done and I expected to use the new spaces without having to do anything, wrong. The new hardwood flooring was great. My only complaint was everything was covered with wood dust from sanding the floor before finishing. When I was told the living and dinning/bedroom was complete I was a little frustrated. The light fixture in the new bedroom was not replaced, the closet looked like a tiny room, no light, no shelf, no bar to hang clothes. The French doors were bare wood. In all fairness Jacek and I had agreed to no paint anywhere but I did not consider this paint. One of the French doors had a nail sticking out of the bottom which gouged into my new floor. When the demolition (removal of old flooring and carpeting) was done turns out my grandson ended up stepping on an exposed nail. Doctor said he had had a tetnis shot within the last 5 years so it was ok as long as it was not too deep. That morning I went around the entire floor and found one more nail sticking out. When I told Jacek he said nothing. I asked him if he planned to do anything about it and he offered to give me free baseboard trim in one of the bedrooms where I had pulled out the paneling. The front hall tiles were not flat at all, a few tiles were really bad and he agreed to replace them. However, he only did one tile? I went and bought a few more tiles then he had the other one replaced but he used gray grout when I had left the original light brown grout out for the flooring guy to use. It is noticeable with this grouting and the floor is still not flat in many places. When he finished the closet doors which were the last thing done. I mentioned the thing in the garage to be removed. He asked me if I wanted the old light fixture and I laughed saying no way take it. Well he left it. I felt so uncomfortable telling him what stillneeded to be done. it was like i was being tested on various steps of completion to see if id say anything. it was like pulling teeth to get some of the finishing work done.
Description of Work: The living and dining room were split and the dinning room is now a bedroom. The living room had French doors installed between the front hall and the room. The family room had a inset desk that I had removed and walls put up. This ended up being the closet for the new bedroom built from a dining room. Had almost 12,000 square foot of hard wood flooring installed which required the removal of old wood flooring and carpet. The front hall was redone with ceramic tile. All closets had sliding doors replaced.

It went incredibly smooth. We were very sceptical after talking with 4 contractors and hearing the potential challenges of moving walls, etc due to the fact that it is an older house. Jack was very confident and buttoned-up from the beginning. He started when he said he was going to start and even finished early! Along the way, I threw a couple curve balls and asked if it was possible to add a powder room in the mudroom and he was nothing but accommodating to my every request. In Addition, he was very honest and reasonable with extra items that I was adding to the work load. They literally took 6 existing rooms (an old office, an old garage, an old laundry and furnace room) and made them into beautiful mudroom (with custom cubbies and a window bench), a laundry room with granite and a big folding station, a playroom for my kids with more built-ins and a lovely powder room. His team of contractors were wonderful to work with as well. Very respectful, polite, and incredibly good at their jobs. I was 8.5 mos pregnant when they finished and they even helped me move some furniture around and hang a couple heavy items on the wall. Jack is also just a genuinely nice guy and I sincerely enjoyed working with him through the process. He has great ideas and saved us a lot of money by not using an expensive architect because his ideas were even better.
Description of Work: Jack renovated 6 smaller rooms and made them into a beautuful mudroom, laundry room, powder room and playroom. We have an older house and it was a "doozy" of a job to say the least but he and his team worked a miracle to make this happen. It was a origjnally an old tandem garage, an old laundry room and an old utility room with 4 different floor levels and several different ceiling heights. They re-worked plumbing, heating, moved walls and rebuilt others to make it what it is today.

The process went very smoothly. The overall project took longer than estimated but there were some unexpected obstacles to overcome that JK navigated around professionally.
Description of Work: I have used JK Complete Remodeling & Construction for two rather large projects in the last few years. The first was a foundation repair that required an addition to be raised and secured and more recently for two bathroom remodels. For each job I secured multiple estimates and JK was priced the most aggressively in both instances. The work for all projects was outstanding and we couldn't be happier with the results. Jack and his crew were very accommodating and flexible and helped guide us through elements that we weren't sure about. We had complete trust in the work and their approach. Without a doubt I will use JK again for my next job.
The work went well. It was started on time and finished by the date promised. The price charged was the price quoted. Our original scope of work included the installation of new hardwood flooring in an upstairs hallway , refinishing an existing set of stairs and removal of an existing door. After the job began we decided to add on to this and included the installation of new baseboards and crown molding in 5 bedrooms and also the removal of 10 old doors and the installation of 10 new six panel doors. The job was completed by the original date promised even with the additional work included. The hardwood floors came out very nice. We are happy with all of the work.
Description of Work: We had new hardwood floors installed in our upstairs hallway and an existing stairway and handrail refinished . An old door and frame was removed and the opening was dry-walled and finished. We also added on to this the installation of new baseboards and crown molding in 5 bedrooms and the removal and replacement of 10 interior doors.
