+ -1 moreFred did a great job. Spent about an hour, and the door now works better than it did when it was new. He also added a strut to keep the door from skewing (which is probably what caused the problem in the first place)... so we'd get more life out of the door. Fred was great, I would highly recommend his services.
Description of Work: I had a garage door that was no longer opening. Didn't know if the opener had failed, or if the track was bad Fred got the door to work again.

+ -1 moreCalled Fred when my garage door opener broke. Other family members have used him and were very pleased with his work. He came out promptly and replaced the opener. I purchased the new unit from him with installation for a very fair price. When my daughter had a problem, she purchased the unit on her own and had him put it up. Fred is a fabulous guy. Honest and friendly. Showed up exactly on time and completed the work quickly. Now my door works great!! He also pointed out a problem with the door itself and returned 2 days later to fix it for the price of the part only. I will definetly refer him to friends and family. If you need a new door or opener, this is the guy to go with!!

Description of Work: This company has serviced my garage doors on several houses for over 10 years. Most recently we bought a house in Park Ridge & the previous owners left us with a non-workable garage door & no remotes. We only found this out the day before closing. I immediately called Fred, the owner, & explained that we had a Chamberlain Liftmaster door but did not know which model. Fred came out at once to look at the door - he remounted the eye sensors, adjusted the motor, & lubricated the rails/channels. After that he programmed 2 new remotes that he had in his truck & within 1 hour we were up & running with basically a door that was as good as new. On previous emergencies in the past, (with a craftsman door opener) Fred has always come out within 24 hours & was able to rectify any problem we had with our doors or openers. I would highly recommend this company. He has never let us down regardless of the make or type of opener and/or door.
