Don came out twice before the project started. We discussed the plan but not in great detail. I had a general idea of what he was planning on doing and how and that was enough for me. I was happy to hear he had only one crew and he participated and supervised the crew. I was also happy to hear he would not be using any heavy machinery that would tear up my yard. The crew arrived and completed the work on schedule. They were polite and helpful, though if I had questions I was better off waiting and discussing with Don. I work from home so that is helpful. Due to the nature of the job, and the way Don figures out what he will do as he goes it is helpful to be on site. He was willing to satisfy my requests. The finished wall is beautiful. He even set up watering hoses for the sod on the last day for me.

Don was great. He arrived on the agreed upon day and did all work completely and efficiently and cleaned up the site at completion. He replaced sod in back and front yards so that it appeared that work had never been done! I can't wait for the rains to test its effectiveness!

I really like the way Desmond Landscape worked with other contractors we hired. They are very professional and reliable. I feel they give a good value for the work. We had no problems at all. Desmond, the owner of Desmond Landscape, even came down and did some of the work himself.

This company was very good. The quality of the work they did was excellent. They were also very professional and I can say we would use them again in the future. Their prices, I am thinking, were right in line with what other companies were asking as I recall. They were not probably the cheapest estimate, but they also probably were not the most expensive one. Overall, they were very good and it was a positive experience.

This man knows his drainage and don't let anyone tell you differently! We had met with a number of landscapers as well as plumbers and stressed that our biggest concern was the drainage issue - Don was the only one that could handle both the drainage issue as well as the landscaping. This was appealing and made our choice easier - a good listener and though he clearly brought his own design to the lay out and landscape it was something that both my husband and I interpreted positively and when we asked for some changes Don met our needs. We initially spoke with him in April and our work was on the schedule for between July 10th and the 15th - he started on the 10th. They were unbelievably well organized, efficient and cleaned up every night - the job was done in 4 days with sprinklers and soakers set up for all the sod on splitters so we could easily water our sod per his instructions. I had brown grass two days in and he assisted me that evening. It all looks fantastic!

Removing the old, weak silver maple and ugly Siberian elm, left the backyard pretty torn up. Our old back patio was just a couple slabs of sunken concrete and the front walk-up had also settled (both date to 1959). The original sod, was also very lumpy and patchy. The original plan, was just to do the backyard, to recover from tree removal, but we decided to get the front rehabbed, as well (that's why we met so many times). We even dropped by his house, to check out his paver lighting. Don was very frank and even talked us out of replacing some shrubs on the side of the house. Don and his crew finished quickly, our neighbors remarked that the crew never stopped working. Don also, laid out our soaker hoses, and buried all of our gutters. There were a few small details forgotten on the first go around, but Don rectified them quickly, it was a big job. Big thumbs up!

Don was on time for the quote, and responsive via email. He had good ideas about the install, and was happy to work with any and all alterations we implemented. His quote was significantly lower than others interviewed. He was able to get it installed over the Thanksgiving week - work went in well, his workers were respectful to the neighbors and my property. He completed 2 days early, and everything is/was great. He even repaired a faulty electrical socket I had outside (when working on the low voltage). Great experience and easy to work with. Yard looks great. Highly recommended.

I MUST BE FAIR IN EXPLAINING THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF CALLING DESMOND LANDSCAPES. ANOTHER COMPANY HAD STARTED OUR WALKWAY PROJECT AND THEN LEFT THE JOB FOR TWO WEEKS. WE NEEDED AN ESTIMATE FOR COMPLETING THE JOB. DON DESMOND SHOULD HAVE TOLD US HE WASN'T INTERESTED.

It was a great experience. Don came out a few times to discuss and present a complete plan. They came in and worked incredibly hard. All the planting was done in a day. By day three they were finished with the pathways and patio. It is beautiful. They left everything looking nice and cleaned up. I feel good about the quality of the work that was done. Definitely well worth the price.

DON IS A GREAT GUY, WITH A REAL PASSION FOR HIS WORK. HE IS PERSONALLY ON SITE FOR EVERY JOB, MEANING HE'S VESTED IN THE QUALITY OF THE WORK PERFORMED. OUR ONLY NEGATIVE WOULD BE THAT HE'S A BIT FORGETFUL AND WE'D RECOMMEND HIM, BUT JUST MAKE SURE YOU REVIEW EVERYTHING PRIOR TO HAVING HIM COMPLETE THE WORK. HE RECTIFIED EVERYTHING HE "FORGOT" OR MISTAKENLY DID, BUT IT WAS A BIT SURPRISING IN A COUPLE INSTANCES. JUST REQUIRES SOME MANAGEMENT IS ALL. HE WILL SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS YOU WANT DEVELOPING THE PLAN FOR YOUR PROPERTY, WHICH WAS NICE.

THE SOD THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED WAS REPLACED AND HE EVEN MOVED A DRAINAGE PIPE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DESMOND LANDSCAPING. THEY WERE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.
