+ 0 moreThe work went very smoothly over the course of two visits. One to remove items and the final to replace/reinstall items. Jim was prompt for all appointments, worked around the other contractors involved and very sensitive to the process. This was a complicated job as the damaged crown moulding has to be refabricated (a formaldehyde free substrate veneered with maple and color matched to surrounding crown moulding). Jim's work was exceptional, no one would every know that the crown moulding had ever been replaced. A week ago (3/7/12), I needed a small base moulding job done. I used Jim again because of his professionalism, attention to detail and great attitude.
Description of Work: Jim removed, refabricated and replaced an area of custom crown moulding that had been water damaged. In order for repair work to proceed from water damage, he also had to remove and ultimately replace a custom made built in headboard. Additionally he removed and reinstalled base moulding below the area of water damage. Another contractor's insurance covered the expense, however the amount was reasonable for the amount of work involved.

+ 0 moreJim is very responsive, detailed and great to work with. He did an excellent job making sure that the desk matched with the cabinetry in the rest of the kitchen. He is very detailed oriented, and came to our house several times to go over the details of the project. He also give us ideas about how to keep the cost down by changing different components of the desk. We are very pleased with the finished product. Jim is easy to get a hold of by email and phone. I would recommend him.
Description of Work: I used Jim for two projects: A custom desk in the kitchen and mudroom cubbies.
