Pete was AMAZING to work with! I had this job bid out to several companies and from the competitive pricing to the way Pete listened to all of our wants and needs and then helped us design and execute the entire project, I was thoroughly impressed! My mom used 3-D over 10 years ago, she had a great experience with them as well. They came when they were supposed to and finished when they were supposed to. We love our beautiful patio and front driveway and walkway! I would recommend them to everyone!

Mike and 3D were professional, reliable, and did great work. The estimate process was informative and even though the price was higher (Mike told me it would be), it was worth it because of the high quality of their work and the longer warranty period by several years compared to other companies. Mike and his crew were punctual and made minimal mess of our landscaping and kept in great communication throughout the job. We're very happy with the results and I'd definitely recommend Mike and 3D to anyone wanting to get their walkway done once and done right.

I am very pleased with the service provided by 3D Brick Paving. Mike, the owner, was my first contact when I called them up. He personally came to my house to discuss our project. I was immediately impressed as he was very focused on understanding what I was looking for and giving me several options to choose from. The price he quoted was reasonable and because I had already developed quite a bit of trust in Mike I decided to proceed with them. I did have two other proposals, one of which was very comparable on price. They were able to start the job quickly which I was very pleased about. Mike was there on the first day of the job to once again ensure that his foreman knew what I expected and we had a solid plan. The job was expected to be completed in 2 days however there was a delay in one of the materials so it actually completed 1 week later. This was not a problem for me as they had started the job sooner than I had expected. There was 1 hiccup when the back stoop was created much smaller than I had expected. When this was brought to Mike's attention he immediately called to tell me they would re-do it, no questions asked. I was very happy with this response. The final product looked awesome. The guys who did the installation took a bit of creative liberty on the front walkway which I thought was a nice improvement over our original design. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to do a hardscape / paver project!

It turned out very well. I have used them twice. In the backyard they removed an existing wood deck and in the front they took out a flagstone patio before putting in the replacements. They are just breath taking and meet our expectations. It was pricey, but I used expensive material. They were very large jobs and I got what I paid for. They are very professional and were always on time. I am very pleased with their work.

I called 3D after reading the reviews on Angie's list. They had so many wonderful comments that I felt very comfortable with the decision to work with them. I had a number of estimates from landscapers and other paving companies. 3D was competitive in their pricing. Frank was the point person and he came out in a timely manner to give us suggestions and a quote. He had some good ideas about the design and suggestions for the type of pavers. He made himself very available. We went to their showroom to see the pavers. We chose Brussels. We had to wait a number of weeks for them to begin because they were so busy. I am glad we waited. They did a great job and we are so happy with our new patio and deck. It is much more attractive than our wood deck ( even when it was new). Javier was the lead man on our job and he and his crew couldn't have been better. They took their time and made sure everything was perfect. I hope I won't need them again for a deck or patio but I would certainly use them again if I had a need for any other service they could perform. I highly recommend them!!!

After researching companies on AL and elsewhere, we chose 3-D Brick Pavers as we felt the quality of their work and guarantee made them a clear choice even though they were not our lowest bid. Pete, Frank, and Mike were fantastic to deal with in the design and follow up portions, and their crew ( Ricardo, Sergio and others) worked incredibly hard and with precision to create just what we wanted! On the hottest days of the summer, they arrived promptly and worked tirelessly excavating, leveling, and designing our new patio. We would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a paving project. Their professionalism, knowledge, follow through, and desire to provide 100% satisfaction sets them apart from so many other companies. The area Unilock design center, which we visisted on several occasions before choosing our product, inquired whom we had chosen to do our work. When we said 3-D Brick Pavers, they said: "Good choice; they are the best in the state!" We have recommended them to our neighbors and would certainly use them again.

Mike from 3D brick paving came out and did a thorough job to diagnose the problem that led to problems with my front stoop. Another contractor tried and failed to repair. Other contractors contacted did a poor job of investigating and determining the best way to fix my stoop. My stoop due to roof design, required a water "pass through" that was poorly constructed. The team found an expected issue after pull apart old construction and absorbed the extra cost to fix without raising my quoted price. They handled filing the permit with the Village. Very pleased with the final product!

Brick walks are expensive, so you better have confidence in the contractor. After visiting Mike at 3D and having him come to the house twice over the course of several months, and researching the company on AL and elsewhere, I was convinced that these guys had the experience to get this job done. What I found was that their price was competitive because this is what they do every day. Unlike the landscapers that I also got bids from, Mike's crew got it done in 2+ days while the landscaper types needed 5 days. This was a serpentine brick walk using a unilock product, interconnected to a side entry with a new capped step. The true test of the workmanship will come after this winter as we see how it performs, but as of now, the walk looks great. The layout/design process was the worst part, as it more of an art than a science, but fortunately Mike's crew has been doing this for a long time and could eye ball some things in a way that I don't think a landscaper who doesn't use this product every day could have done. The follow up has been good, they show up on time, etc. Also dealt with last minute alterations very well. I would recommend and use again. I suggest visiting their lot to look at the brick product samples installed, as the catalogues don't convey the real look and color.

3D was able to get in and do the job just 1 day after a massive rainstorm. They gave a good price and gave us exactly what we wanted, an awesome back patio !

Highly recommend this provider. They are not the cheapest, but we have found in Chicago that you get what you pay for. They did a fantastic job of excavating and installing our patio. It looks wonderful, and I'm pretty certain it will stand the test of time.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with 3D brick paving! The initial estimate was done quickly and everything was explained in detail. After we decided to use the company, they were extremely helpful in helping us with the layout and design. They have a sample outdoor showroom so you can actually see what the pavers look like (in different patterns too) instead of relying on photos from a brochure. We worked with Pete who had some great ideas as far as borders and lighting. Once construction began the team was great. Not only are they very knowledgeable and meticulous about their work, they also went above and beyond many times. They worked tirelessly and even helped re-plant some landscaping we decided to move. After removing the deck the underlying brick was stained and had bolts sticking out of the mortar--they even power washed the brick and removed all the bolts! The patio turned out beautifully and the crew did a great job cleaning up the surrounding area and even added grass seed to the parts of lawn bordering the patio. I would highly recommend 3D. Great service!

We couldn't be anymore happier with the customer service and patio that 3D Brick installed. From start to finish they were outstanding. We called three other companies for quotes and decided on 3D Brick. Pete (salesman/estimator) came out, spent time with us going over options and pricing. They came out two weeks later and had the patio installed in a day. It looks beautiful. They were incredibly clean around the entire property as well. For people looking to have a patio installed, don't waste any time with multiple quotes, go straight to 3D Brick. They are the best of the best hands down.

It went very well! The crew was professional, dedicated, and hard working. If I had questions, they answered them. They were really great to work with! I absolutely fell in love with my beautiful brick paver patio and was so very thankful to them for the transformation. My house went from 0 to 10 in just a matter of days. My husband called 3 times. I've read a number of reviews and thought well.... those that gave a negative review was because they were inpatient. I read nearly all the reviews and thought , "Hey 3 out of xxx, cant be all that bad". Day one my husband told the receptionist that we were located in Libertyville. Her response, " I don't know if they will go there but I will check and call you back". Did she call back, "NO". So my husband called back and left a message. There was NO call back. That was try #2 and then again try #3 again voicemail and still no response. It's too bad because the work looks good but if you have to struggle with communication then no matter the price our time is NOT worth their ignorance. ORSOLINI of LIBERTYVILLE

Mike came out to check out our back yard and discuss options with us. He gave an estimate based on a most likely approach. We decided to go with 3D, even though their price looked to be a bit higher than another highly rated provider, since 3D's availability seemed like it would fit better with our desired schedule. We decided on a different design, though, that added cost to the quote. It was great to be able to go to 3D's office in Des Plaines to look at the various paver options. That definitely helped us choose the material we wanted. The first work day was delayed by a couple of weeks due to the constant rains over the previous month. This put 3D behind schedule. When the crew came out to do the excavation and lay the gravel, the work went very well. There were four guys working, plus some coordination with the truck for gravel delivery. Mike was there in the morning to make sure the crew understood the job. While there, they also installed a drain pipe for a new sump pump that had to go under the gravel and dug holes for concrete footers for some porch steps. Then it was waiting for the inspection the following week. 3D was able to come back the morning after the inspection (much appreciated) to put down sand and lay the pavers. Everything was done with a high degree of precision. My one disappointment was that I would have preferred the pavers extend a half foot farther in one direction. It was a matter of being 3 inches shorter or longer than my original target point. I was told we couldn't go longer because the gravel base didn't extend far enough. It would have been good if we could have ensured that in advance. Not a huge deal, but the patio is only about 250 square feet, so an additional 5 to 10 square feet would have been noticeable. They also poured the concrete for the footers that day. 3D had to come back a third day to finish up since the concrete didn't dry enough in time for them to remove the forms and work in that area. Overall, a very good experience. 3D makes sure the job is a quality one. And, they were fanatical about cleaning up the dirt and gravel in the alley!

very professional outfit and proposal. Way too expensive compared to the contractor that I choose. I guess you pay for all of the fancy company cars and presentation!

He came out pretty quickly and scheduled it pretty quickly. I was able to pick out what I needed. They finished a lot faster than I thought they would. I would definitely refer them to others. Their pricing was competitive. The quality of service was good!

The work was scheduled to start on June 5, but was delayed until June12 due to weather. Frank called to update us in a timely fashion (there were a couple of delays). He was always very apologetic even though he has no control over the weather. Work started in a very professional way. There was an initial job briefing so everyone was on the same page. I was concerned about the demo of my sidewalk, because it actually touches the stucco of my house. We were happy to find there was no damage to the stucco after the removal or installation of the sidewalk. The installer who worked on the stoop had a great eye. He gave me a couple of options and I went with his recommendation, which was not the easiest way ( more cuts in the bullnose cap).It looks great! We were told the job would take 2 days and that is what it took. The final job is fantastic. There were no surprises. After everything was done there was the final clean up. I could hardly tell they were there except for the new walk and stoop. I have to mention that 3D's estimate was the final amount and it was $2000 less than the others.

I called and we made arrangements for someone named Pete to come to my house on Saturday to look at our yard and provide suggestions and prepare an estimate. He did not show up, he did not call and I called and left a message and have heard nothing back since. Very unprofessional

In a word, awesome!!! Frank was our point person from the beginning - he is very professional, personable and patient. He listened to our concerns regarding water issues in the backyard and came up with successful drainage solutions that did not sacrifice the aesthetics of the proposed hardscape and existing landscape. He helped narrow down the huge array of colors and types of pavers and provided samples of pavers that he thought would complement our home. Javier was the crew leader for both phases of our project. He is a true artisan and master of his craft. He was very exacting, precise, and thoughtful; he definitely takes pride in his work. It was evident that the men that worked under Javier's direction worked well together - like a well oiled machine. Our neighbors were very impressed with their work. We highly recommend 3D for your hardscape needs.

We have only gotten an estimate at this time but have decided to go with them and have the work done. They are well ratted on Angie's list and with the professionalism that they showed with the estimate process we are setting up to have the work done now.
