I was concerned with the other contractors we talked to because they required holes to be drilled in our basement concrete floor as well as pvc pipes being run all over our basement. But with this system, the suction pipe went through our existing sump cover. So we ended up with no dusty mess and no ugly pvc pipes on our home exterior because the fan sits in the interior. We were extremely satisfied with the solution - the radon levels are very low now - which is important because our kids play in the basement a lot.
Description of Work: They installed a radon mitigation system that removes radon gas to levels well below the EPA 'action' level of 4.0. Once the system was installed we tested out our radon levels and they were below 1.0. The kit was pre-packaged so it was a lot cheaper then the custom remediation quotes I had been getting (about a quarter of the price).
