replacement windows
+ -1 moreHe was on Angie?s List and he had received good reviews. He was very industrious and diligent, and was an expert with the weights and the ropes. He did a great job and I was very pleased with his work and his timing.
Description of Work: We used Home Maintenance to replace the basement windows with vinyl windows. We have an older house and all the windows work on the weights and ropes mechanism. He replaced the ropes that had broken. Since we were going to paint the house, he reglazed everything.

glass repair, replacement windows
+ 0 moreWe had ignored our storm windows in our old house, and permitted ivy to grow all around them. The paint was peeling and the wood was rotting. Some panes of glass were broken too. Terry gave an estimate and then, as we accepted it, started work. It turned out to be much more of a job than we all originally thought, but we discussed it and followed through. It was a big job and took many days. He would arrive about 8 in the morning and leave at sometimes 6 or 7. I seldom saw him not in motion. The guy's got energizer batteries in him. You get your money's worth. He is not cheap, but is worth every penny.
Description of Work: Terry West took down and replaced several panes of glass in our 33 windows. He also scraped, primed and rebuilt areas where necessary. Then they were all painted, as well as the window frames (where the windows go in). Then they were caulked (or it it puttied?) and all put back in.
