Hero Heating explained everything prior to ordering the new unit, and installing. It was my decision to purchase a new one, rather than fixing the old unit, Installation took less than a half day.

The technician (Austin) called to ask if he could arrive a bit early! He did a thorough inspection of the furnace area first, including changing the filters (which I had on hand) on the furnace and humidifier, then moved to the outdoor unit. All major components and electrical checked out with no problems. He reviewed the work he had done with me and explained their available 3-visit maintenance agreement. He stressed that they are a customer first company. He answered all of my questions. I thought the $120 price was a bit high - at least it is more than I have paid other companies at my last home. However, Austin was here for over an hour so I guess it was fair. By purchasing the maintenance agreement I can lower the cost of future visits and receive preferred customer pricing on parts.

My experience with Hero has been terrific. They are very, very good and their prices are competitive. They are professional but not in a distant sense. I will continue to use Hero Heating & Air Conditioning.
