TMS PLUMBING SERVICES INC

I had another plumber come out today to survey what Todd and his team had done before I purchased my home. All Todd did was dig a hole, punch a hole in my existing sewer line and put a PVC pipe in over the hole to install a 'cleanout'. All of which is against code. Todd took advantage of the older couple that owned the home and did not actually do any of the work he was contracted to do and what he did do was against code. Avoid this contractor at all costs. I now have my attorney going after the seller to get them to pay a reputable plumber to do the work Todd didn''t do. I am not sure that Todd is even a liscensed plumber. He is the exact type of contractor that you get warned about - he basically is a scam artist. Come on people - investigate the people you hire to do work in your home. Just because they have paperwork doesn't make them reputable. I would never recommend using TMS plumbing services for any job.

Todd called the day before the appointment to confirm the time, arrived on time and made the repairs. The toilet that needed to be re-seated was removed from its location, he found the problem was a wax ring that was too small for the toilet in question and had never fully sealed the toilet. Todd removed the old wax ring and replaced it with 2 wax rings to make sure that the toilet was sealed and seated properly. The drain pipe was removed and replaced. The dishwasher was secured to the countertop. The diverter was removed and Todd took it with him to ensure that he purchased the correct replacement part and that was replaced. Todd took great care to clean up any messes and took all removed parts with him when he left. He even offered to replace a light bulb that he noticed was burned out. All in all, a very good experience.

There were two parts to this job. The first was the faucet installation which was good. The second was the soap dispenser installation which he never did. Another handyman needed to be called.

Todd was on time, very nice and helpful, came back to finish one challenging job and got it all taken care of. Very reasonably priced. If he has to remove drywall to fix pipes, his team fully repairs the drywall hole and patches it up smoothly again....a real plus in the world of plumbing contractors! I was so glad to find a good plumber who is reasonably priced in our area. Will definitely call him again.
