Description of Work: There were some communications problems initially but he finally did fix the leaking refrigerator (a cracked drip pan) & reimbursed us for the first service call. All in all very fair.

Description of Work: Determined dryer was fine. Recommended vent cleaning.

Description of Work: Replaced belt on dryer. Some noise from machine attributed to "low spot" on motor. In reality, I found the noise to be from a defective knob that starts the cycle. When not full pushed to engage, a lot of noise can be heard. In all fairness the guy didn't take a lot of time to diagnose, but buying a new dryer would have been cheaper than belt and motor! But he performed the service I asked for and charges were what I'd expect had I not used Angie's.

Description of Work: LG dryer wouldn't heat. Don arrived exactly when he was scheduled. He reset a thermal switch that flipped (because I let the vent get too clogged). He showed me how to reset the switch myself if it happens again in the future.

Description of Work: Attempted to save my older Kitchen Aid refrigerator. He was not optimistic but went above and beyond to attempt a repair. Cannot recall cost of service call but remember being pleasantly surprised at the reasonable charge. |Very impressed.

Description of Work: He came out but didn't do the repair because it was not cost effective to do the repair. He recommended that I keep an eye on the leak, and that if it got too bad to replace the appliance.

Description of Work: Evaluated noise from washing machine. Identified cause. Provided estimate. We agreed it would be best to run it until it died then replace it due to the cost of repair.

Description of Work: They replaced two igniters in the oven my Viking range. The cost of parts make this a very cheap fix. Will use them again. I was also given maintenance advice that will minimize, or eliminate the need for some future help. I was never offered advice by any other repair services.

Description of Work: Requested a call 15 minutes before arrival & they did it. Service man was polite & knowledgeable & gave estimate before work. He even took off his shoes without be asked to. He had part on truck & made repair quickly. |I thought charges were a bit high, but went ahead. The only allowance I received off of the bill due to Angies List was $15.00. It says receive 50% off of service call, but the serviceman said I was only eligible for $15.00? Whatever the reason, it should be clearer on the coupon in the monthly book.

Description of Work: Repaired my cooktop and reinstalled my washer dryer after electric service was upgraded. Explained clearly the problem with my cooktop and offered two choices on how to proceed as well as full cost of each. Nice guy - finished the job quickly and we're happy to be able to cook again. |

Description of Work: Fixed the door to our dryer that got locked up. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Came back a second time when it locked up again. Did not have to pay for an additional service call. Very prompt and courteous.
