Both times they were on time and on one of the service calls I was called to see if they could come a little earlier which I thought was super. The jobs were done with upmost professionalism and the techs are very classy and courteous. I would call them back again in a heartbeat if I need them again.
Description of Work: Used them for two different service calls. One week my refrigerator needed repair and a week later my gas range needed repair.

+ -1 moreThe repairman told me there wasn't any mechanical problems that it was just related to certain items covering air flow vent in the fridge and at bottom of fridge. Once I corrected those issues the fridge worked fine! I appreciated his honesty and have already put in a call to use Priority Appl. again for a now leaky dishwasher.

His colleague called with an exact time of arrival, and showed up with various replacement parts before even seeing the problem. Our fridge was fixed within 10 minutes, and he insisted on NOT charging us the full quoted amount because it took so little time to repair. This was after we spent $200+ with two other companies that insisted the problem couldn't be fixed. This was by far one of the best service experiences we've ever had! Would recommend highly.

+ -1 moreFridge quit on us last night. It was deemed my duty to get it fixed . I thought this would be fairly straight forward, not so much. After calling aprox 16 service companies between the hours of 8am and 930am I came across these guys. The CSR took my name and number and said they would call withen the hour to set an appointment. I didnt have much faith, to my surprise I was wrong. Called back in 10 min and set apointment for between 2 and 5. Called again and told me he would be there at 5. Showed up had the part fixed it and got me going. Mike was a nice guy and the price was inline with the service I received. Thanks guys!

+ -1 moreCalled company and gave Steve the model number of the washer and described the symptoms. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and said it was the auto load sensing switch. Made an appointment for the following day and a technician came out and replaced the switch. Very professional.

Description of Work: My garbage disposal was leaking from the bottom. Steve, the service technician, explained the problem of a bad seal in a 10 year old unit. Decision was made to replace the unit. The entire service call took less than an hour and problem resolved with a brand new unit. From what I had been told, $200 is about right for new garbage disposal. Replaced with KitchenAid model.

I would not be reluctant to refer this company or call them again in my time of need where it's something I may not be able to diagnose or complete myself. They are a reasonable and competitively priced repair shop.
Description of Work: I call Priority in the afternoon on 12/26/12 to get service on my 12 year old Maytag Neptune dryer that had stopped working, and received a call the following morning to schedule the appt. during the late morning of 12/27. Mike arrived 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time and had already gone into the home (I have a tenant living there) and it was diagnosed before I had even arrived. He told me that he was certain that it was the dryer motor was the issue. I was concerned about the cost versus buying a new dryer and he discussed the option of spending at least $450-$600. on a new dryer or paying close to $300. for him to replace the motor on a dryer that in fact may be near the end of its service life. I explained that I am mechanically adept and how difficult would it be for me to do it myself instead of buying a new one? He told me that it shouldn't be outside of my ability and I truly appreciated his sincerity and honesty, because it was not a difficult task. He was honest enough to caution me that the machine may still need to be replaced sooner than later, but the task was worth the savings of hundreds of dollars. This is the definition of good service!

+ 0 moreA large amount of ice was accumulating at the bottom of our freezer. The repairman from Priority showed up on time and informed us the the problem was a clogged drain plug. He also pointed out that a block of ice had formed somewhere else in the freezer mechanism. He unplugged the drain on removed the additional ice build-up. He was courteous and professional.I would do business with them again, if needed. My only item of note is that the 50% off service call coupon from Angies List was only worth $15. It needs to be a little more clear what exactly 50% off means.
Description of Work: Ice was accumulating on the bottom of the freezer. Drain plug was clogged. Repairman unclogged the drain.

+ -1 moreIt went good. I called in the morning , and Steve called back an hour later and came out a few hours later. He was very nice and I think did a good job. We will see if our dryer stays working without the noise. Also, when I signed into Angies list to put this review in, I noticed that there was a coupon for 1/2 off a service call that led to a repair. I called Steve and told him about this. He said he would send me a check for 14.50. That was very nice of him!
Description of Work: Steve replaced the idler pulley on our Maytag dryer.

+ -1 moreI called on Friday afternoon and was told that a technician would call me Saturday morning. He called Saturday about 9:30am and said he'd be at my house between 10:30am and 1pm. He was there before 11am and replaced the igniter in less than a half hour and it's been working great ever since! I had no idea that someone would be able to come out that fast, we had just returned from vacation a few days earlier and there was a lot of dirty laundry and I wasn't looking forward to going to the laundromat. I will definitely call Priority Appliance Repair again if anything breaks! Thanks for such great service!

They seemed to have a fully stocked repair truck and replaced a motor in my dryer in under an hour. They have terrific working hours which is ideal for those who need to work until 5pm.
