Priority Appliance Repair Inc

I sent a message from their website, and got a call back fairly quickly, and he said he would call me the following morning between 9am and 10am to let me know when he would be there. He called at 9:36am, and said he would arrive between 1:30pm and 4:30pm, I said great, since I would be able to leave for work afterwards, and he said an estimate on the work wouldn't take long at all. I waited until 5pm, and tried to call him, only to no answer, at 5:17, I was pulling out of my driveway, when a white van pulled up, and it was him, same person I talked to on the phone twice, and he didn't say anything. I told him, I am sorry sir, but I have to go to work, and would of appreciated a call if you were going to be almost an hour late in the appointment window you gave me. If I would of got a call out of courtesy, I would of rescheduled immediately, but the no call, no show, ended our relationship before it began. I tried him based on all the great reviews and feedback, and understand things happen where you can't keep every appointment, but a little notice to say he wasn't going to come would of kept my business.

He was very helpful and gave me a few hints I hadn't thought about. I would use him again.

I had nominated this company for the Page of Happiness a few years back, so when I had another appliance issue recently I called them again. Again, very happy with the service. Easy to make an appointment, tech was knowledgeable and polite, explained issue to me (clogged defrost drain) and showed it to me, explained how he would repair, and quickly repaired during the same visit. I feel the price was very reasonable.

Was honest about the problem. He was wonderful and honest, gave all the options of different types of work. I was very impressed with his knowledge on the situation.

I called Priority Appliance to figure out why my wash machine was leaking. They came out the next day and told me what needed to be repaired and the cost of it. Because of the age of the machine and the cost of the parts, I will just replace the machine. If I did decide to do the work, I definitely would have them to the job.

The folks at Priority Appliance Repair Inc are awesome. From the first phone call contact to completion of the job, they were great. They took the time to listen to me. They answered my questions. They were very professional and accommodating. They wanted to come out the same day to fix the ice maker, but I couldn't get off work until Friday. So they scheduled me for first thing Friday. We have dogs and I always ask that the technician call a few minutes before arriving so I can put the dogs outside. Most times they forget to call. Do you know how hard it is to get dogs put outside after someone has rung the doorbell and gotten them all excited? Not only did the Priority Appliance Repair Inc tech call from down the street, but the office also called to say he'd be here in a few minutes. Imagine that. A company that actually listens to the customer :-) As I suspected, we needed a new ice maker. Don came out and took a look and sure enough, the motor had been frozen by leaking water. He quickly replaced it and in no time we have ice. Yay!!! I will definitely user Priority Appliance Repair Inc again for all my appliance service needs.

The gentleman who performed the service was very friendly, polite and seemed to know his stuff. My problem was with how my bill was calculated. The online coupon said 50% off and when I received my bill he said he gave me $20 off. I asked how much the part was and how much the labor was. I was told he was given one figure so he wasn't sure. I find it hard to believe the 45 minutes he was there and a new stove ignitor cost $476 (since I paid $238 and was supposed to receive 50% off).

The motor in the dryer burnt out. The dryer was making a loud noise, the drum was not turning, and there was an odor like something was melting. Steve was very accommodating to my schedule in coming out asap, after normal work hours. He was very friendly and professional. After he had taken the dryer apart and diagnosed the problem, I had asked him since it was taken apart if I could vacuum and wipe up all the dirt and lint that was accumulated inside. He asked me for a vacuum and a rag, and he said he would do that. I was very impressed with his service.

He said that the 21-year-old refrigerator would cost more to repair than it was worth. We talked about brands that are reliable for new appliances. I paid the $59 visit fee that would have been applied to the cost of the repairs if they were done.

Steve contacted me through messaging within 4 hours through Angie's list on a Friday night after business hours! He called in the morning to follow up and diagnosed the problem over the phone. He was very available willing to come out on a Saturday but was honest in telling me a trip wasn't necessary.

Technician was friendly and honest and capable. I would call them again if needed.

Our dryer was not working. We had to run it 2 or 3 times to get a load dry. It's a relatively new machine, but I assumed that I'd need a new machine. The technician at Priority Appliance Repair was able to fix it so we didn't have to buy a new dryer. I was really happy with the service and the price. Especially considering I was about to buy a new dryer.

The soap dispenser in our dishwasher would not close. Emailed Steve with the details and received a prompt reply with an estimate. We set up an appointment shortly thereafter. Steve arrived within the time window he gave me. He was very pleasant to talk to and, more importantly, the work was done correctly and relatively quickly. The total cost was exactly what we originally quoted me.

They returned my call within 24 hours even though they couldn't do the work. They were also very honest and helped me by referring me to a specialist for the appliance I wanted repaired. That is good service! I will try them again in the future.

They do not work on dishwashers despite what the website says. The phone receptionist was rude and unhelpful.

I called to schedule an appointment for a service call for my dishwasher and was told that they weren't taking any new "dishwasher" repair customers. When I asked if they were still taking appointments for other appliances I was told that yes they were. Seems odd to me that they would be so selective on the appliances they would repair. I don't think I"d call them back for any other repair work - even though I have a washer and dryer that need some service.

It was okay. The price is acceptable. It was a horrible difficult job to do. The quality was okay.

They fixed it. They knew what they were doing and did it promptly. Everything was fine.

All contact was done through e-mail, they asked for my address and phone number to get ahold of me which I provided. I was told that I would be contacted between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to tell me what time they would arrive. Well I took the day off and waited for a phone call that never came. Very unprofessional and I will never to business with this company again.

I told Steve that I would like a rough estimate on the possible repair since the fridge was older and maybe not worth fixing. He was great, he asked me some questions over the phone and was able to deduce that it was not worth fixing because it would cost about as much to fix as to buy a new one. He didn't even need to come out to tell me that. He's a real professional who was not trying to just make money off of me. He gave honest and helpful advice, and I would use his services in the future when another appliance needs repair.

I felt Steve was honest and very professional. He fixed everything quickly and I couldn't be happier.

I paid them 60 dollars to have them tell me that they couldn't fix it. They were supposed to call me back, but they didn't. I didn't really like them that much. It was disappointing.

Turned out to be an operator problem. Re-cycled the machine and checked everything. Showed user how to handle this condition if it happened again.

I think Priority did fine but the supplier sent the wrong parts twice. Priority was able to make the refrigerator work ok while waiting on parts. All in all, I think it went well.
