Description of Work: My clothes dryer was not working and the tech changed a few parts that did not fix the problem. He then figured out it was a part more expensive then buying a new dryer. He removed all the parts and only charged me a service call fee and recommended that I buy a new dryer. I went out and brought a new dryer a few days later. I had another problem with the new dryer a few months later and called them, they called me back and told me the dryer vent was probably clogged, which it was. They saved me a service call fee that time by not having to come out. This company is like dealing with a family member. You get a total feeling of confidence knowing they are being honest with you. This is a hard thing to find these days. I will deal with them with all my appliance problems in the future.

Description of Work: My dryer wasn't working so I called Priority. I scheduled service online and Steve called me Saturday morning to tell me the window the technician was coming out. Don arrived on time. He was very professional and found the problem. Something was wrong with the electric and it wasn't a dryer issue. I found the the breaker was bad and replaced it. Now my dryer works!! Thanks Don for diagnosing the issue. I would definitely used this company again

Description of Work: I called Friday evening and Saturday morning got a call from the technician that he would be there shortly. Arrived within the timeframe and performed the repair of my oven quickly. I was a little surprised by the price, but really don't know if it was higher than average or not. Considering they rushed out the day before Easter speaks volumes, so the cost was not an issue. The technician was well dressed and extremely polite. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I called Priority to have someone check the rinse cycle of our 10-year-old GE washer. The machine wouldn't switch to the spin cycle after the proper water level was reached. Occasionally the water would not only fill the entire tub but also spill over the lip. Mike Henderson, Priority's technician, figured out the problem in no time. He cleaned out a clogged plastic tube and even told me how to do it myself the next time I have the problem. He said he would take off $10 off the service call because the problem was so minor. The Angie's List $15 coupon brought the total bill to $84. We haven't had any more problems with the washer thanks to Mike's handiwork.

Description of Work: Problem was a GE oven in which the temperature continued to climb after the requested temp had been reached, but the temp display did not indicate any change (we later learned from the technician that it is not capable of doing that, so in the future, we will make a habit of setting an analog thermometer in the oven). Called Priority on 12/10/2012 at about 3:30 pm. They promised we would be contacted the following morning with a service time. Steve called on 12/11/2012, and we agreed on a three-hour window from 12 noon thru 3:00 pm. The technician Don arrived about 1220. Don concluded that the oven's control board needed to be replaced, he ordered it online from his truck, and advised us that the online warehouse inventory said it was available, and he should have it in a couple days. Then, we would be contacted with a service schedule. Having heard nothing by 12/17/2012, we called Priority. Steve called back on 12/17 to advise that the online warehouse inventory was in error, and the board had to be ordered from much farther away. Steve apologized for the lack of an explanation much sooner. On Friday, 12/21/12, Steve called with a service schedule between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Don arrived about 10:45 am, completed and tested the oven with the new board with a new sensor, and was finished about 11:00 am. I would not hesitate to use Priority for any of their advertised services, but would request more definition of what to expect whenever parts, or other issues beyond their direct control became involved. The technician Don was very polite and professional, and answered all questions asked.

Description of Work: What a delightful repair experience! Our clothes dryer stopped working yesterday (a Sunday). I called on Monday morning about 8:10 am. It is Christmas Eve and I honestly thought I might have to wait until later in the week to even get a call back. My information was taken, I was given a time for a scheduler to call (by 9:30 am); they called about 9:10 am, scheduled a visit for between 9:30 and 11:30. The repair man showed up a little after 10, diagnosed the problem within minutes, and made the repair immediately with parts from his truck. The cost was reasonable, the service polite and efficient. It is a pleasure to do business with this company. I will call them again and recommend them to family and friends.

Description of Work: The repairman was on time, called be for he arrived, diagonsed the problem and replaced the needed part. From the time he arrived until he left was less than an hour. If your looking for a bargin, this is not the business to call, but if your looking for quality work and very knowledge repair personal, I would definately recommend this company. Description of Work: A knob broke off on my stove, and I had contacted the company to complete the repair. Once the part came in, they were very flexible in scheduling a time that would work with my schedule. They called me the morning of the work, and were right on time, quick, and pleasant. Work was completed to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: I called because our dishwasher had stopped working and expected to need a service call. Instead, and thankfully, Steve was able to talk me through a reset process that he thought might work. It did work and we avoided the cost of a service call, at least for now! Steve also was kind enough to e-mail the reset process to me in case it happens again in the future! Let's hope this is a permanent solution but if not, we'll definitely be calling these guys for help!

Description of Work: Our 11 year old Maytag dryer was making a very high pitched sound when running. Called Priority the next morning and was very promptly called back and a repairman was out by the afternoon. I was asked a series of questions and when the sound started. The repairman gave me the option of replacing the rollers because this noise is a symptom of the rollers wearing out. He was very knowledgeable about Maytag equipment and had all of the parts to replace in this machine. I was very satisfied and will call them again for repairs. I also must note here, that we could not replace this appliance because the space for it is very tight and so I am glad to know that we can keep this dryer because the parts will always be available.

Description of Work: DISCOVERED WE HAD A LEAKING FRIDGE WHICH WAS CAUSING DAMAGE TO WOOD FLOORING. THE GUY FROM THE COMPANY SAID THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS A LOOSE CONNECTION WITH THE WATER LINE FOR ICE MAKER. HE TIGHTENED IT. A WEEK OR TWO LATER, WE DISCOVERED IT WAS LEAKING AGAIN. APPARENTLY, IT HAD BEEN LEAKING ALL THAT TIME DESPITE THE REPAIR GUY''S CLAIM THAT HE FIXED IT, AS THE LEAK WAS CAUSING MORE WATER DAMAGE TO THE WOOD FLOORING.

Description of Work: I CALLED THE DAY I NEEDED SERVICE ON MY AMANA REFRIGERATOR, GAVE MY NAME AND TELEPHONE NUMBER AND THE NATURE OF MY PROBLEM WITH MY FRIDGE. I WAS TOLD SOMEONE WOULD GET BACK TO ME. TO DATE, NO ONE AT PRIORITY APPLIANCE HAS EVER RETURNED MY CALL OR LEFT A MESSAGE ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE.
