Kevin was very professional and took time to explain what he was doing as well as why when it came to repairing old structural damage in our garage due to water. We are confident that Kevin took the time to repair our garage and install a new door correctly rather than skipping steps to cut costs and we appreciate that greatly. We plan on contacting Koopman Carpentry in the future for other carpentry needs this year.

They came here promptly to estimate the work. They came up with a creative solution to help me prevent future moisture damage. They started the work promptly. Each day they kept me thoroughly informed of progress and any anomalies and possible changes needed. They were fastidious at making sure the worksite was clean before they left each day. I could not be more pleased with the quality of workmanship and the final product. I have used them many times over the years and I can always trust that the work will be done to more than exceed my expectations.

KEVIN KOOPMAN WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL (LET ME KNOW THAT IF I BOUGHT THE WOOD MYSELF IT WOULD BE CHEAPER FOR ME). WITH ANOTHER CARPENTER HE DID EXCELLENT WORK ON THE RAMPS. THEY DIDN'T CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS AS WELL AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED, AND I WAS A BIT SHOCKED BY THE BILL WHEN IT CAME. TO BE FAIR, I DIDN'T GET AN ESTIMATE BEFOREHAND, AND FROM TALKING TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO HAS WORKED ON SIMILAR JOBS I THINK THAT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE FOR THE WORK DONE. THOUGHT IT A BIT CHEEKY THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR TAKING THE UNUSED WOOD AWAY AFTERWARDS.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE PRICEY, IN THAT I FELT THE WORK TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN IT SHOULD.

THE CARPENTRY CREW SHOWED UP AND LOAFED AROUND FOR FIVE DAYS, REPAIRING AT MOST HALF OF WHAT I WANTED DONE, AND AT A COST OF 300% OVER WHAT JOE ORIGINALLY ESTIMATED. THEY COULD HAVE PULLED A DRUNK WINO OFF THE STREET AND THEY WOULD HAVE HAD MORE EXPERIENCE THAN THE CREW JOE USED. "F" RATINGS UNDER ALL POSSIBLE EXCEPT PUNCTUALITY, THEY DID SHOW UP ON TIME. THEY'LL BE HEARING FROM MY LAYWER. THEY ARE STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED. I'M HAVING SOMEONE ELSE COME IN AND REPAIR THE DAMAGE THEY MADE.

THIS CONTRACTOR IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, OFFERS GOOD ADVICE ABOUT WHAT IS NEEDED, WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED AND WHAT IS NOT FEASIBLE. BEAUTIFUL WORK AND VERY BUSINESS LIKE.

I WAS TOLD THE JOB WAS 'TOO SMALL' (KNOCK DOWN PLASTER WALL BETWEEN CLOSETS AND FINISH THE SPACE) FOR THEM TO PROVIDE A FREE ESTIMATE AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME A MINIMUM FEE OF $60. NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY WILL NOT BE COMING! THEIR LISTING INDICATES THAT THEY PROVIDE FREE ESTIMATES, BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT IN ALL CASES.

THEY WERE GOOD, ON TIME. PLEASANT TO WORK WITH.

THEY ARE HONEST, CLEAN AND NEAT, AND THEY GET THE JOB DONE. THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED CARPENTERS. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEM.

KEVIN KOOPMAN WAS THOROUGHLY PROFESSIONAL IN ESTIMATING THE JOB AND OBTAINING AND INSTALLING THE EQUIPMENT. HE WAS FLEXIBLE IN HELPING ME DETERMINE THE BEST WAY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF VENTILATING THE BASEMENT. A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.
