Our long-time snow removal service retired this year. We have a long, narrow driveway, and it was very hard to find someone to plow it. We saw an ad for Bur Oak and gave them a call. They gave us an estimate and set up a contract. They have plowed twice this year, each time doing a nice job. They did not come until very late last night, and it would have been nice had they come earlier so we could get out of the garage. However, I must credit them with showing up so late and ensuring we were clear this morning. I am sure they have many customers and the weather yesterday was just awful.

The owner told me he did not have to dig up the front walk as promised in our meeting, he just had to add a little sand to level it out. At this point I asked for a discount as he did not have to do most of the work, he said no way and to smile. Owner left blue pvc sticking up out of the ground 18" by the front door, I told him that this solution looked bad. The owner of the company told me too bad that's the way he does it and to smile. He told me the solution was for me to paint the pipe. When I told the owner that I was not happy with the outcome he told me too bad and to smile again. The owner of this company then started to tear apart our home telling me what he thought was wrong with the house and further work he could do on the house. He told me he did the work as a favor, no favor here as he charged $1600 for 2 guys to do 3 hours of work, a little sand and about 12' of pvc pipe. I feel totally ripped off. I feel he should have adjusted his bill as he did not do the work he said he would do for our home. Two weeks after install we have no sand left in-between our bricks and holes appearing between the first step and the brick, what a disaster.
Description of Work: The provider was to tear up the existing front walk and put down more gravel (12" total) and regrade and also install an underground feeder from the downspout out into the yard.

Horrible. They demand payment up front. I had to call twice to get them to come out to do the job, when they did finally come the quality of the work was poor and I am obviously very unhappy with the avoidable damage to my fence!
Description of Work: One snowplow so far this season. Awful job, I had to get out my shovel and clean up most of the driveway. Also, the driver did not come until 1:00 in the afternoon when the snow had stopped by at least 6:00 am. The finishing touch was the damage they did to my fence. I have had several companies plow for me and have never seen anything like it. Avoid this company. They clearly do not care about your property.

Plowing was done as promised but not without avoidable damage to my property. Despite many many requests to discuss this, no one bothered to call and owner has now conveniently set up and not shown up for two appointments to discuss repairs caused by the plowing. EXTREMELY POOR follow up to customer requests; absolutely NO CONSIDERATION of other's time; appears to have no interest in resolving a problem that was brought to their attention after (1) failure to respond to many requests prior to season start to discuss appropriate plowing; (2) failure to respond to requests to meet after damage began during plow season and (3) failure to show up for scheduled appointment to meet to discuss repairs caused by plowing that were avoidable.
Description of Work: Company was hired to do snow removal. Requested a brief meeting with owner to discuss how to plow the driveway to avoid damage. Received no reply to request. Plowed driveway creating damage that could have been avoided. Called many, many times to speak with company to ask to meet to avoid further damage. No return calls. Season is now over. Called to discuss repair of damage created by plowing. Owner, set up two appointments and failed to show up and/or call to explain his absence twice! Michael Puccio, owner, is totally irresponsible and unresponsive to reasonable requests to meet and have damage that was TOTALLY unavoidable repaired.
