We usually do not write reviews, but you come across a company that provides such excellent service you want to let others know. Blazer Electric is quite simply the best. Our home was built in the early forties and had the original electrical wiring. After friends had an electrical fire we became eager to have our home rewired. We found Blazer Electric on Angie's list and were impressed with their ratings there and on BBB.org. We feel very fortunate to have found this family business. Jack, the owner, monitored the mob and his work team could not have been more courteous and professional. They accommodated our schedule and even came on Saturdays to expedite the work to rewire all 3 floors. Their fee was very reasonable and were flexible as we needed new fixtures installed. We highly recommend this company. We are delighted with the job and cost.

They were terrific. Jack Blazer is responsible, prompt, and efficient. He gets back to you right away and tells you exactly what you need. His pricing was considerably less (by about 1/2) than the other electric companies that are received bids from. I highly recommend.

I spoke with someone who said they would call me back but never did, so I went with a different company.

I’m very happy with the service. Overall it was great experience- the team was prompt, courteous and professional. The team even found wiring that needed to be replaced. I have some additional lights to update and just arranged another project.

Jack was great! The communication was good - when the job before mind was taking longer, Jack kept me updated by phone. And he deducted from the charge for the delay. He listened to my concerns and came up with a solution to the ceiling fan switch question. The other switches were replaced quickly and he cleaned up . I will definitely hire Jack again and I have already recommended him to three friends.

Jack and his team were on time and got the initial job done in 3 hours- same as his estimate. Jack is very courteous, knowledgeable, and does great work. I subsequently used Blazer Electric for 2 additional projects. Highly recommend.

Jack, Sebastian, and the other electrician (I didn't catch his name) were great. After walking them through my list of issues, they jumped in and addressed all of them. In addition to the tasks I asked them to help me with, they also ensured I didn't have other electrical issues, based on the problems they were fixing. After finishing, they cleaned up. I'd definitely use them again!

It went well and felt he did a thorough job. I thought the repair was going to be a bigger project than it actually was. Mr. Blazer had to go to the hardware store to purchase new bulbs, transformer and new dimmer switch. The cost would have been lower if i had not suggested going to a neighborhood Ace Hardware Store which charged more. I was going for convenience.... When I receive my ceiling fan, i will call them again to install.

Mr. Blazer performed the job quickly and i am extremely happy with the end result. He responded to my text messages timely and worked with me to find the best price and materials for the project. Would definitely hire him again.

Jack and Adam were great. Showed up when they said they would, were friendly, easy to talk to, answered all my questions and got everything done they said they would for the prices we had discussed. The quality of the work was great. Jack talked me through my options to repair some poor work that was done years ago and persisted to make the repair right. I will definitely hire them for our next project.

Great experience, he is obviously busy but since this was not an emergency was able to schedule an appointment within a week. He requested that I send him pictures of the area I wanted the work done. Texted me about possibly changing date, but was able to come on the day originally scheduled. Spoke with me prior to arrival to discuss plans and I was able to tell him again I wanted done and suggested some parts he may need. Installed two new track bars, 5 lights and new wiring and conduit for the tracks and two switches. He had one assistant and completed the job in less than three hours. Placed tarps,or used plastic bags to limit dust and dirt while drilling into concrete ceiling. I did supply the tracks, lights, dimmer switches and light fixtures for the tracts. He used his conduit, switch boxes, plates and wiring. Great experience, professional, courteous and I would definitely use again for any electrical installations in the future.

I was a bit nervous starting this project but Jack assured me he could get the job done. Jack and his crew arrived early, on-time, as stated to immediately begin the work. Jack and his crew were very attentive to my requests and communicated clearly throughout the entire project. They were also very professional, courteous, and informative. His crew sectioned off their workspace very well to minimize dust throughout the home; floor was also protected with drop cloths. They taped my design plan on the ceiling so I could visualize the layout prior to cutting and installation. There were some minor imperfections where the cans were installed, but that was completely expected due to the size of cans and the type of ceiling in my unit (lath and plaster with metal mesh). All lights and ceiling fan were thoroughly tested after the work was done. His crew also ensured all debris / garbage were removed prior to leaving - I was quite pleased with the cleanup after the installtion. Overall, the project went very smooth and I could not be happier with the installation and the service provided by Blazer. The addition of these lights have dramatically brighten up my living space. I highly recommend Blazer Electric and look forward to future projects with them!

Jack with Blazer called me back immediately after I left a message. He came out the next day to install conduit and wire for three light fixtures under my deck. He was very fair with pricing and did excellent work. He even fixed an issue that I had not realized was a problem. I appreciated him pointing that out to me.

I am so pleased with the work. I had a dining room chandelier that always smelled like something was burning when the light was put on. Years ago another electrician came in and only replaced the dimmer switch and told me the lights smell like they‘re burning because it has cardboard by in the bulb sockets. That light would go on by itself even after the first electrician worked on it. Problem was finally fixed by Jack at Blazer Electric. He even bought new lights (LEDs) for the Chandelier. Found a short in the wall switch. Fixed that and everything else. He even took a second trip to Home Depot because I needed a bigger wall plate. I didn’t have to tell him. He just did it. And he fixed the on and off switch on a desk lamp for me!

Guys rewired much of my sun room - removed old lights and installed new LED can lights. Jacks team is responsive, professional and does good work.

Very well. Jack had to "discover" where he could find a ground wire to bring to the wall connections since it didn't have any. On the third attempt he found a connection on a ceiling light in a hallway close to the room where the problem existed. he quickly fished a ground wire to the bad connection and got the fault connector to work

I contacted Blazer over the phone and found out that he could not meet my time constraints, so he referred another electrician, Artur Kulesza, who is a delightfully friendly and refreshingly trustworthy electrician. Given that there were no surprises, he kept his price within the lower end of his estimate spectrum. He was very helpful in putting another set of eyes on another project I was working on myself in fixing my wine fridge, and went as far as providing some professional grade greased crimps for me, and also grounding the plug that was missing the ground. Upon discussing possible other future work to be done, he noted that the house's service connection had a damaged ground wire, which if broken could fry all the appliances in the house. He advised us to get that fixed as soon as possible by Com Ed, which we got done. Artur is an honest man and the work he did was clean and professional. I would highly recommend Artur for anybody looking for a quality electrician in Chicago.
