Each fan installed took about an hour. The owner is very nice and responsive and the electrician was on time, worked hard, and also was very nice. I would definately use them again.

He came in, laid down cloths and installed in no time. Cleaned up beautifully afterwards. I will use him again when I have a need. Never thought that i would be satisfied with Angie's Service, but she made me a believer.

Process went very well. Blazer gave us an estimate, performed the work to the estimate. No surprises.

Did the work as expected in a professional and courteous manner

The owner (Jack) came by to see what needed to be done, provided an estimate, and then scheduled a date to do the work. They were on time and did the work and cleaned up afterwards.

Bought an Angie's List deal to swap out an old electric panel. Had to supplement to upgrade to a 200amp panel and get all new breakers, but that was expected. Nice guys, clean work, and happy with the results.

He came out to look over the home but never followed up if any repairs was needed. I would not use their services and would not recommend them to others.

They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. The owner came with the worker. He took off the panel and showed me everything; he was very detailed.

Blazer sent out one person for the electrician I ordered through angies list. He was very courtious and helpful. Did a nice job connecting three outlets to the main power lines in our house. My wife wanted an additional outlet and can light added which he completed in about 4hrs total time. I would use these guys again.

The project was finished on time and within budget.

This was an all-day job, and it went smoothy. Old parts were collected for disposal. We are quite satisfied with the results.

I bought the $99 coupon for 2 hours of electrical work. After some back-and-forth on scheduling, Jack came out Friday and began work. He ran into some unexpected framing which necessitated a new extended drill bit so he returned Saturday to complete it. It took four hours total and he gave us the coupon rate of $99 for the extra two hours which seemed fair. The light looks good and I would definitely use him again.

I emailed Jack to discuss the job. He responded quickly. I sent him pictures of what we needed and he explained my options. We settled on a price and a plan and early Friday morning I met with Patrick. Jack, too, stopped by a couple of times to check in. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Jack, the owner, was very responsive from the moment I called him until we were finished with the project about 2 months later. His crew worked in our house about 3 times during the course of the remodeling, during different "phases" of the project. Jack was always able to fit us in within a few days of when we needed him in order to keep our project moving forward. He was very easy to work with and provided good advice, and his crew did a good job. They knew what they were doing and responded well to questions and concerns.

It went very well. Our timing to purchase the generator was not good though. Just as we decided we needed one, there was a big storm on the East Coast and then another in California and you could not buy a generator in Illinois. Jack bird-dogged the availability of the generators for several months until one became available. He installed it in less than one day and also built up a platform (at my request to keep it above an area that occasionally floods) for no additional charge. The generator works fine and runs a self-test every week. It has kicked in once for several hours when the electrical service when out and I did not even notice it was running when I returned home. Also, don't forget to check to see that your gas line is sufficient to power the generator. Jack prompted us on this and we had Nicor check it out. It required an upgrade of the gas meter and this had to be scheduled and installed before the generator. If you are considering getting a generator, you should seriously consider having Jack Blazejewski and Blazer Electric install it.

I purchased a Big Deal for $99.00 for 2 hours of electrical work from Braver Electric. I knew that my kitchen and laundry room had no GFIs and were not up to code for today's standards, plus the recessed light over the kitchen light would not turn off and was making a scary "hiss" when I flipped the switch. I called Braver on Wednesday and Jack said he could get me in on Thursday. I already had some appointments scheduled for the day and suggested Friday instead. Already with a full schedule for Friday, he asked if 7AM on Thursday would work. We agreed that his Patrick, one of his electricians, would be there at 7:00 to assess what materials we needed and that Jack would pick them up while Patrick worked on the overhead light. Well, it worked out perfectly. Patrick arrived right on time, found the problem without having to replace the entire fixture, and Jack returned quickly with the necessary materials. Jack presented my with his credit card receipt from the home improvement store and I wrote him a check for the $100 worth of things. Patrick finished the job exactly in two hours, although Jack had offered additional time for $50.00/hour if necessary, which I thought fair. My lights are working and there is no evidence of any mess. The outlets look much more clean and modern and I have found a provider I will definitely use again.

They were very efficient and all fans are now working with remotes. Will use them again.

They were quick to schedule an appointment and did a thorough review of our condo. In addition, they provided a summary of their findings and recommended repairs (along with estimates).

I called and left a message for Jack to contact me regarding the panel swap out. He took my information and called me back later that night to get the property address and to provide me with the information he required. Jack asked that I take pictures of the present electrical panel, the exterior meter and service line. We made a tentative appointment to have the work done in mid December. Before I could even take the pictures requsted, Jack called and told me that he had a cancellation and could do the work this upcoming Saturday. I gave him the access information and he told me he would be there at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. I thought I would get a call from Jack before he started the work because of the age of the box but when I spoke to him at 9:30 a.m. that Saturday, he had already started the swap out. I dropped by to check on the work and was impressed by what Jack and his assistant had done by the time I got there. A new Square D box was installed and they were finishing up the installation of new circuit breakers. The work was done very neatly and they cleaned up after themselves. That is quite unusual for most tradesmen who generally leave the placed looking worse for wear when they are done. Jack even pulled new wires for a G.F.C.I. outlet that had been recently installed, it appears the electrician that originally did the work cut a corner or two. All in all I am very pleased with the work done by Blazer Construction. I would not hesitate to hire them to do work for me in the future.

He was wonderful. The inspection went very well. He provided a thorough report and explained everything to us. He spent more time than I anticipated due to the problems as we live in an older home. The inspection went so well that we had him come back to fix all of the problems that he found. I immediately felt a trust with him because of his knowledge and he took care of everything that we needed to bring our house up to code.

The owner called me back promptly after I first left a message requesting an estimate, and he came to our home to see the problems and prepare an estimate very promptly. We had a rather serious electrical short and he therefore made our job a priority for his staff. When they came out to do the work, they worked very hard and efficiently, and they dealt with some unexpected structural issues quickly. I was very pleased with the results and the price was quite reasonable for such an extensive project. We had obtained quotes from some other electrical companies but this one was very fair. I also very much appreciated his helpful recommendations. We had contemplated additional work being done and he recommended against it as unnecessary for our home's needs, even though he would have made a larger profit if he had done the additional work that we thought might be needed. I value that sort of honesty in a contractor. We received a good deal from an honestly run company, who used skilled and hard working electricians to get the job done right the first time.

We've used Blazer several times in the past. Jack, the owner, offered to have an electrician at our house 7am Mon morning after a Sunday afternoon email went to him, but the timing didn't work for us. Jack showed up around 1pm on Monday and took a look, advising us to buy new fixtures. Monday night I bought two fixtures, and let him know. He had someone come to our house on Wed afternoon. Jack also stopped by about an hour into the job. They replaced the fixtures and fixed the wiring problem. One thing I particularly like about Blazer is that they're good about responding to emails, which is convenient for me. I emailed him to get some details about the specific problem after the job was complete, and received a response within 24 hours. We plan to continue using Blazer for all of our electrical needs.

I was very pleased, as I was with Blazer's service some time previously. The work was very well done. In order to install one of the fans it was necessary to cut into drywall in several places. The crew cleaned up after that and were careful to save the dry wall pieces so that patching could be easily done. All in all, a very nice job.

Jack and his crew did our eletrical upgrade from 100 to 200amp, also brought the outlets up to code, installed a ceiling vent and light. His crew was really professional, worked hard for several days. It passed the village inspection. After ComEd transferred the line, he came as promised and removed the old box.

He put in a wall outlets and convertied to them to GFI.
